I dig this casual outdoor walking videos. Keep them coming! Also teach me how to not eat bagels and donuts after my long run. Amazing work Hunter!

Thank you so much for stopping in! And I really appreciate the feedback, I am really enjoying my new approach as well, but it helps a lot to hear that it is enjoyable to watch as well! And dude your long runs are insane. Insane. I cannot believe you have crossed into Five digit calorie burn days! Way ahead of me and my 600 cal workouts ha ha

Brilliant work. Think keeping cals slightly higher and letting the extra cardio create the slight deficit was key to you PR’ing your lifts. Typically people under eat and lack energy and then strength goes down as a result. IMO if you lose a ton of muscle on a cut then the juice ain’t worth the squeeze. Even keeping your numbers the same on a cut is impressive so to PB must be very satisfying. Well done. And you can tell you aren’t craving a Pizza Hut or anything at the end of it all!! Sign of sustainability!!

Wow! Amazing what a body shave and the right posture can do to the way you look. Hahaha. Dude, we saw hundreds of "before and after" pictures and only a handful of them were genuine. We know the tricks. Slouching, droping the shoulders, blowing the abdomen. And how did you achieve the "miracle"? With a measuring cup in one hand and a kettel ball in the other. You ain't gonna win a patent here. But keep it up, you're on a trajectory to becoming a "genuine" RUclipsr. Only I won't be here to witness it as this is not the reason why I subscribed to your channel. Great physique though... in both of the pictures!

Thanks for commenting! Really helps clear up some things you're really wrong about
One, the before picture wasn't done in conjunction with a weight loss effort at all. The gym owner was helping me work on a personal physique things about six months before I started all this and told me to take a picture "rested" and it seemed to fit for this even though not related
Two, that's why I started the video with the full lab DEXA scan to show the weight loss - to show the literal drop in percent body fat - bc not about pictures
Three, i never intended to see this much change when I was starting this, if you followed my channel you would know that it was from an emotional breaking point six months ago that I started incorporating positive elements to my diet, and this happened to happen, so I shared
Four, I have never and would ever shave trim or otherwise shave body elements. I am the same in both

    Congratulations you nailed it. Inspiring!
A HUGE thanks for your video putting all the prices together. So many RUclipsrs will only do a video on one aspect like say intermittent fasting while missing the key that you explained of not doing it every day to prevent metabolic rate decreases. You put everything into one video exercise, nutrition, fasting, consistency and tips that gives a clear overview of how to get results.

Where are these studies that IF causes metabolic decrease?
Water fasting frequently however can "potentially" have issues, but most likely wont since the body never forgotten how it processes anything.

    • @fitgearhunter
      @fitgearhunter  7 месяцев назад

@@devintompkins9626 I don't know where I saw it because I started AF three years ago as a general lifestyle, but I think Thomas allowers talked about it a lot, as far as referencing studies. I think it's pretty prevalent that if you maintain a constant calorie deficit your body will adjust downward the calorie needs, though.

Congrats! I want and hope to also achieve that fitness level when I hit the same age. As a man just restarted half a year ago to daily workouts and diet, I know this is extremely hard and requires quite discipline.
I'm digging also this Environmental / Forest scenery vids. But one tip is avoid staying on 1 place and only slightly moving, it makes me a little dizzy not sure if it just me haha. Maybe keep walking even on very slow pace as long as background is changing, not just shifting. Other than that, great vid and looking forward for more! 😁

3 things: 1) if you think it works - it works and science here is helpless, 2) your protein intake to body weight ratio is good for sculpting your body, but not for longevity (you decide what's more important), 3) same day intermittent fasting doesn't work unless you're a mouse (on whom all those tests were done, but whose metabolic cycle is quite different from humans); what might work is shifting more food to the early hours of the day vs evening.

What made you decide to do 20 hour fast 3 days per week vs 24 hour once a week .
Also days you fasted . Did you do cardio or weights.
