Such a nice shop - I was positively salivating over all the china! What a fantastic deal on the Regal Blu set starting at 11:45. I hadn't heard of American Royalty before, but that was such a sweet floral.
The finds of the day, though, were absolutely the Chinese porcelain bowls! Just exquisite! I was glad to see you took them home! Along with so many other things I loved like the Mariposa platter and, of course, the Waterford lamp. I was surprised you didn't pick up the Nambe tray as well.

Congratulations to Elizabeth 🙌 I was recently in England and the difference in prices was so different. Things in the UK were sometimes inexpensive in comparison to the US and vice versa. I bought some cranberry glass and was gifted some Staffordshire dogs 😁

Sadly, Virginia Metalcrafters is no more. They made beautiful things since 1890. I visited their showroom often. I was very interested in the glass hurricanes on the candle holders. Is that something that will typically fit on a pair of holders? I love the look. Thanks for another great journey. Always enjoyable!
Neat that you visited the VM showroom. Glass hurricanes need to fit into a holder fitting in the room candlesticks. Larger glass hurricanes can fit over the entire candleholder and rest on the table. 🕯️

It does happen that designers and stores donate. One indication is multiples and lots of the same inventory. If you are in the Houston area, I can share some local insight.
Oh, Mary Beth, I love the baby pheasant salt and pepper shown in the beginning of this program. Do you think the shop might ship them?
They actually sold as soon as the store opened. Customers were waiting at the door and items sold quickly.
