    Yup, the L-15 is a beast and I have one. Nice comparison and I fain would rate these L series as anything less than the best handmade acoustics coming outta Japan in the golden era......

    Great sounding guitars.. which guitar do you prefer soundwise? I seen L5 model in actual, flawless but i never tried the sound. Which model is more expensive?

    Hi dud! This guitar is all great! But what your own opinion? What one of it is better? I think it L5. Maybe because it older then 8 and 15. Anyway what your opinion?

      We think L15 better than L5 & L8, Because Setting condition is good:)

    What are the differences between the model? I am trying to decide on buying a vintage Yamaha l series guitar.

      Maybe solid or laminated that I know L-8 is Top solid, L-15 All Solid :)

    • @gregmonk1556
      @gregmonk1556 5 лет назад +7

      L5 is solid Ezo Spruce Top with Laminated Coral Rosewood Back & Sides
      L8 is solid Ezo Spruce Top with Laminated Rosewood Back & Sides
      L15 is solid Ezo Spruce Top with Solid Jacaranda Back & Sides
      It's worth noting that gen. 1 of the L5, L6, and L8 all had solid back and sides. These are both gen. 2. You can tell because gen. 1 have fret markers starting from the third fret, whereas gen. 2 have fret markers starting from the fifth fret.

      @@gregmonk1556 on ebay the ones with markers starting at 5th fret cost more and say they were made in the 70's. The one's made in the 80's have the markers starting on the 3rd fret. Which are the Early models?

    • @richardboss3358
      @richardboss3358 5 месяцев назад

      @@gregmonk1556Other way around, Gen 1 have markers starting at the 5th fret.
