Been there several times, from Tamworth. One occasion the X and I went there with our folding chairs, sat and waited, it was about 11 pm. All was heard was barking dogs probably from a farm. At that time I didn't know that much about the Yowie. Second time there I decided to park the car in a dry creek bed and stayed there until someone came and helped me out, could have used a friendly Yowie's help. After I got unstuck I continued on to Baradine. @@JasonHeal Yeah Mate, I've only recently been looking into the Pilliga Yowies. Watched a heap of stories but questioned why none had been been photographed or filmed. But the two I spotted in your video looked pretty definitive. Got some balls to go out there alone at night.
The day before Pilliga, I had left Ceduna South Australia around 4.30am & keep driving. I filled up for fuel in Coonabarabran around 2.15am the next morning. I had just driven 1800klm 18 hours of driving. I was now heading in to the Pilliga between Coonabarabran & Narrabri. I headed off in to the bush of the Pilliga around 3.00am. I was so tired but so scared & over tired. Had my GoPro on my dash of my Jeep recording. As the tracks was getting deeper & deeper into the Pilliga I was really freaking out but wanted to continue anyway. I wasn’t going that fast. Most of the time I was doing no more than 30 to 40 Klm as the Tracks had branches & some parts very boggy with mud & water on them. I was by myself so I wasn’t getting stuck or bogged. So I had to be careful how I drove. All sorts of things started going through my mind. What if they push the Jeep over on its side or roof? What if they grab the back toe bar & stop me altogether? What if they smash through my window? I really started getting scared. That’s when something hit the back off my Jeep. I think it was my spare wheel at the back. It’s like they slapped it. I literally freaked the F out” I had to turn around on the track to get back to Newell Hwy. I was even scared to turn around as they might grab me then. My heart was just about jumping out of my chest. I finally got the courage to turn around & head back. I got to the main road & high tailed it to Narrabri.

I for sure think it would be worth getting the best cameras for trail possible, nvg / thermal imaging, they can tell when a person is within a few hundred metres from them, they can either scent or hear extremely well, anyways I look forward for genuine up close updated proof, footage as I know they are legit, but to prove the naysayers wrong, we are not alone at all out there.

Thanks Bro! the photos are called Pilliga Scrub Photos. Thanks Mate!!!
Jason H Good video mate
Thanks from potting that on its been years since I've been inland I don't think I'll get the chance again ,I in joyed the drive I would like to so more if that it's great at Bedtime .Troy the Rangers son,🇦🇺
No worries 😉 Thanks for watching 👍
U must walk in the pilliga forrest to c them
I go many places walking solo at night. Pilliga isn’t one of them. I’ll stay in my jeep & even drive through there. Even walk around in the day time. But not at night. Heard too many stories
No way, there are feral pigs in the Pilliga.
you need to be like rambo with a belt fed chain of ammo, and a couple side-arms, and some camo paint, being out there, Yowies do snatch people@@vallanallan1336
I have done this at day time with my dad on the road and i saw a teddy bare up high in the tree with a knife in its heart
that's bearly believable
@paul w yeh right i am the only one am i . its called humour and looks like you are devoid of it
1:15 wtf was that noise
That sound is them
Could have been something throw something at your car mate
Dude, I read your comment section and noone mentions what I see at the 6:50 to 6:52 minute mark. I see a figure running from left to right, toward the rear of the tree on the right. Check it out.
I seen it 2
Ive watched heaps of times and i cant see anything :(
Reflection of the bonnet onto the windscreen
Alexander Espada I saw that too but I just thought it was a speck of dirt or something on the window
Though it might be something else
Why don't you talk or at the very least tell us what you're doing driving around at 3am
Because The Guys are Driving Away Is Really Not scared Right...
I drove 1800 klm that day from Ceduna to Coonabarabran then in to the Pilliga at 3.30am in the morning. I’m really tired 😑 really scared 😦 I didn’t feel like talking. Sometimes videos with some silence in them is better. 👍
@@JasonHeal That's a bloody long haul mate I drove with my son and 2 dogs loaded to the hilt with a 6x12 trailer from Renmark SA to Brissy unknowingly I drove thru the Pilliga too but yeah nothing unusual 🤔
The yowie is usually described as a hairy and ape-like creature standing upright at between 2.1 m (6 ft 11 in) and 3.6 m (12 ft)
They are actually more human like than ape like. They have their own language & can speak English also
She was the ONLY Great thing about Suicide Squad - I will see this
What Margot Robbie? Don’t understand what do you mean?
Yes she is cool. 😎
Where are all the yowies?
They are definitely in the Pilliga. Driving through there doesn’t guarantee a sighting? In this video one did slap the spare wheel of my Jeep towards end of video. I turned around & went back to Narrabri after that
@@JasonHealyep I would have booked it out of there too if I had something slap the back of my vehicle in the middle of the night in the middle of the Pilliga! I’ve drove that section from Narrabri to Coonabarabran dozens of times over the decades and the place still gives me the creeps every time I drive that section. Breaking down in that 115 k stretch is what always worried me the most.
@@Healthliving1967 Hi there, yes definitely gives me the creeps for sure. I’d like to get a motor home & park out there on the way side spots & stay many nights & record everything. Yeah something definitely slapped the spare wheel of my Jeep that night. Basically saying get the fk out of here or else
ah the bonnet of a jeep wranger, I feel at home. Oh, and what is happening on the left at 7.10 to 7.15am? It looks like a still night yet there are two bushes flapping about like there is a breeze, but no other bushes are blowing. (disregard, I see there are other bushes blowing at the end of the vid, obviously a breeze around)
Ominous
Yeah, definitely has that feel out there
i grew up in narrabri being warned about this place and its an eri place i feel maye portal or something to other relms thanks
Yes there is weird stuff going on out there. I picked yowie audio of one them saying something in a deep voice. Also driving through at 3.00am only doing about 30ks an hour something hit my jeep behind where my spare wheel is on the back of the jeep. Freaked me out.
Ii
Wow was that it
@@jasongurtman5169 Hi Jason, hey?
To scared to get out the car? 😆
Yeah I was. I know these guys exist & the stories I heard out there. Freak me out. I have my Jeep 🚙 reversed in with keys 🔑 in ignition ready to launch 🚀 if something starts ripping the doors or roof off. They could push it over on its side if they wanted to. I enjoy 😊 going out there. Remember I’m by myself out there so gets real creepy real quick. Lol 😂
@@JasonHeal Lol I shouldn't shit stir, I ALSO wouldn't have the balls to walk alone in the Pilligah
thank you this is fun exiting
Thank you!
cool video cruising around the scrub iv done heaps of pigging threw the pilliga and surrounding areas usually run all thru the night and sleep the days never had any weird experienceses heaps of pigs and wild dogs around when its dark and quit the mind will play tricks on you only time my dogs howel is when there is pigs about fun to watch and hear people's expirenences
Hi Simon, interesting experiences you had cool. I did have weird shit happen. I had something run up & hit the back of my jeep & that was no pig.
Yeah you definitely hear something hit the vehicle right at the end of video. Id love to find out the gps locations you search around iv got a couple dogs when they pick a sent they will run for km chasing that scent wouldn't mind putting around that area been known to get a jump and we have run 5-6km thru the scrub leaving ute on the road chasing down the dogs on pigs never seen any signs of weird tracks or anythings weird realy but always think would be cool to see something keep the vids coming.
Thanks Simon, yeah mate, I stayed in my jeep one night out there with tree cameras on my bull bar & spare wheel at the back. I caught bloody arm or leg in the photo.
Jason H yeah love to see that footage mate im a sceptic sorry mate i do enjoy debunking stuff you out there often ?? next time im out that way mate you should come for a run get the dogs and head in on foot
Here you go mate. ruclips.net/video/5yDe2gmDiisN/видео.htmlo worries, when I'm that way next time I catch up bro.
Noooop!
Need to set up some cameras and try catch a yowie
Thank you, I have actually caught yowies on trail cameras. People say it’s not possible? It is. Just have to be lucky enough for them to play with the camera or actually walk in front & have recorded both 👍
Any chance you go back to Pilliga? the story of a lady who got chased by one as well as a cop who retired after spotting it at a creek, hells creek I think or some falls, approx 8ft tall, huge arms, able to smack down trees by walking, there's also been missing persons, a vehicle found with clothing scattered everywhere. I for sure think it would be worth getting the best cameras for trail possible, nvg / thermal imaging, they can tell when a person is within a few hundred metres from them, they can either scent or hear extremely well, anyways I look forward for genuine up close updated proof, footage as I know they are legit, but to prove the naysayers wrong, we are not alone at all out there.
also search rock apes from vietnam, the grunts got ptsd from them
@@moto3463 Yeah I know the place. Hickeys Falls near Coonabarabran. You go past that area if your heading towards Narrrabri from Coonabarabran
At 4:39, is there a lady standing on the right wearing a white dress?
Wow! Interesting, I’ve looked at the footage?
Plenty of roos out home id say thats what hit your spare wheel mate🖒
@36 seconds to the right of the big tree.
@@theideasman6018 Nothing there mate but shadows and trees
@@pilligalad7487 slow down the video mate it's their.
@@pilligalad7487 dosent appear to have hair or fur. They don't all look the same
i dont see anything like ghost or something weird i'm dont understand
Hi Michael, if you listen carefully at one point in the video I freak out because something just hit my car. That something I believe to be a Yowies hand hit my spare wheel on the back of my jeep. A Yowie is cousin to Bigfoot.
ROTY,
you have to watch 7 to 8 minutes of nothing and right before the end around 8:05 to 8:10 you can hear a knock on the jeep and he freaks out for 5 seconds. Peace...
@@Intheshed123 @ 36seconds standing to the right of the big tree. Moves it's left arm and looks at the jeep
Wow at 1:30 mate on the right hand side can see it swinging from tree to tree. Awesome
I saw that
What yous are seeing is the light
Not to be rude, however was 8+ minutes really necessary for 5 to 10 seconds of action? Maybe I missed more stuff? It did have my attention though. I can say I kinda know what this feels and sounds like and it scared the crap out of me because I did not see anything. Turned out it was only a deer that hit my passenger door. when I looked the next day in the light, I did find some deer hair near a huge dent on my right fender and door.
I just found your channel and I see some awesome looking stuff to watch. Looking forward to it :) Peace down under...
I didn't see anything.?
At 36 seconds behind the tree on the right, there's 1 their standing behind the tree
Thanks for your observation 👍
Silly me after posting that read the comments further down seeing I wasn't the only 1 that spotted the Yowie, I watched it in slow-mo it was facing the tree and just as you got to that the point it looked straight at your car and the headlights illuminated its face, lucky you didn't stop the Yowies of the pilliga are highly aggressive...
@@capt.fancypants If you watch towards the end of this video. They slap the back of my spare wheel of my jeep. I was really freaked out actually. Scared to do a u turn & head back to Newell Hwy. I did & took off to Narrabri
@@JasonHeal well I think what was behind the tree followed you got in front and took a swipe at your Jeep and fucking missed you were lucky...this time
@@capt.fancypants Yes! One did actually hit my spare wheel. I think open handed slap 👋 I was only travelling about 20 miles per hour/ 35 klm per hour at the time. Bright spot lights at the front. But behind the jeep would of been dark. What kept going through my mind is they might push the jeep on its side? So did a u turn & got out off there & headed back to Narrabri
