Reason being M peformance in a tighter and lighter package, static spuspension vs bags... my 540i wagon had bags hate when compressor acted up, and turbos on top which kinda bothers me just to name a few. Really preciate you sharing the info. Lot guys when they build out don't like to share the info. Thank the most for YT and peep like you!!! Keep up the good work. @@dylannuccio8130 is definitely a B58. They just have different versions of power levels. Unfortunately, the SUVs always get the lower power levels and the cars get the higher, but that's what the mods are for to level the playing field 🚀🚀
@@trapgodnah9022 It all depends on what you plan to do with it. The X5 is not much heavier than the X3. I rather the extra room because you will wish you had it later on. Also the X5 has a nicer presence on the road 😎

Why not go coil overs? Yeah springs work but coilovers work better. The price of springs and new struts will be dam near the same as a set of bc racing
@@AutoLust I have had good luck with email. When I needed replacement struts for my e39 coil overs they responded in under 48 hrs with parts in stock. Had em at my house in VA 3 days later

@@AutoLust Thanks for reply! I am currently playing with MHD on my E70 35i in all stock mode, and Stage 1+ made stock car completely different. Asked them about gearbox and they told me that this box can hold (not in track mode of course) up to 700nm of torque. I do trust them as they test their mods (otherwise will not produce this maps they said). But anyway concerned about this poor 8HP45, especially on an old car in my case. @@AutoLust I hope you don’t but if you look at the bimmer forum it’s common to both x5/x6 s and x drive. I just got mine back 11,200$ later from BMW and I got the same sound smh. Love the content tho fam. This got to be the best channel out there. But if you do come across that sound or you at boosted beaners ask him for me. I’ll drive my x6 down there if he knows how to fix ong.

@@iansamuels987 I have two guys who I deal with. Boosted bimmers in Melbourne Florida and Aguadilla Auto repair in Orlando Florida. Those are the only two places I can recommend.
I gave up on the n55 platform. the cost to power is to great. however. future plans is to swap a 1uz v8 with 3uz heads and ford supper charger. with the swap and custom adapters for the transmission and a custom oil pan to retain the front differential. And with upgraded internals I should be looking at 750 hp. I should be 8k in it verus well over 12k to keep and retain the n55 and get above 500hp. that's not counting me selling my n55 and all the parts. and the 1uz is bullet proof engine. I also looking into swaping to full air ride. using the e70 front and rear airbags. cheap option and all the coding is easy to. As I use my rig to hall boats.
Cost for my N55 build completed will be about 8k or less including any labor for work I can't or don't have time to do. It's all depends on what brand parts you use and when you buy the parts I like to wait around certain times of year where parts become anywhere from 25 to 50% off but the 8K all in is with my parts being full price.
@@AutoLust you must be getting a very sweet deal fueling upgrades alone can set you back 2k to 3k. I have an xdrive so before any power adds I would need to upgrade the rod end bolts and rod bearings. Again that’s like almost 2k with parts and labor. 550 hp is nice to do on budget however long term how that holds up is different story. I have seen a lot of people build the n55 platform. And the cost at low end is 8k with them doing a lot of the labor. But they are 335i cars that’s way less expensive on driveline parts and the x5 is heavy. And drivability is something to look at with all that weight and low end torque. These things are great on highway trips but are sluggish in town. I think that’s why I have decided to move to a v8 build with a solid platform.
@@michaelbrooks9462 I definitely understand where you are coming from and my fueling upgrades are about that price, but most of the rest of the X5 bill will be sponsored from a few different companies I'm in talks with. I don't plan on keeping any of my cars long-term as I will be doing many projects for the future of the channel most of the cars will be raffled off once the builds are done and a few races are under that particular cars belt. Sasha is probably the only car I keep long term and then she will eventually get raffled off as well, but reliability is definitely in the tuning a good tune will get you more aimed at stock longevity then a very aggressive to focused on power.

where did you get the front and rear bumper lip. I have the same bumper setup as you and I cant find anything other than for the M sport or the M
That means that the N55 engine on my (lighter) 2015 X1 can also make that amount of hp! 😊

Did you send ur computer out to get unlock I try to use bootmod3 but had to send the computer out because it was lock
No. I was able to flash my DME directly from the phone at home with the bm3 software. What year is your car?
2015 x5 3.5 I I tried bootmod3 got error message computer lock was told had to send it to findland to unlock computer $1500 so now I’m going with jb4
Someone probably locked the ECU before you bought the car it's possible to lock it yourself with the right software.

It will but not for long, But I will need to do a HP70 swap. Way cheaper than doing a stage 2 build transmission like I did for the X6M.

What about the infamous rattling can noise associated with the N55 engine/drivetrain in the x5/x6 ? Have you heard it yet?
I've haven't experienced that myself. My car is an sDrive that's might be a problem with the xDrive X6 and X5.
