How fast will she be second guessing and shopping for a husband with a bigger wallet??????
Tacky
@@rosa2241 TACKY!!!
Really pretty on her!! Love the dress!!
You know you’re a dad when you say “walk around in it” just like shoes 💀
😂
Right?! These sample dresses are a million miles long so they can fit anyone. She must be quite tall because there’s no way the average bride can usually be off the pedestal and walk 😂
😂😂😂 tb!
Right?? My thoughts exactly 😂
Then don’t go to Kleinfeld's. That was tacky, and rude to the staff.
Do price comparisons outside of the appointment. Don't waste their time and be courteous. I'm all about finding deals too but there's a way to go about it
Nah, they expect a yes or no there, it's worse to say yes and then call back with a no. She checked and good on her!
I do agree that she should have made the call in a place more private AWAY FROM CAMERAS ! But they can’t blame her for wanting to get a deal. Like come on who doesn’t want to save money ?!
The producers love this shit though. I can almost guarantee they asked to film it.
The show placed the camera with her; the “call” was all staged to add drama. The staff knew exactly what was going on.
She should have been more discreet. She handled it badly.
If she literally was in the other store last week trying that dress on she could’ve noted down the price of it then and kept that in mind when coming to this store, this show just wants to create drama xD
That being said I’m not surprised that for whatever reason she decided to go with the dress in this store and not the one she tried last week 😂
But it is tacky because their sales people worked had and used their valuable time to serve you and create an experience just to not be paid. It is greedy.
To be honest she should have already known the price of the gown at thr other store before going into Kleinfelds. Any bride who is prepared would know prices before going to another boutique. Especially since she was adamant about trying on the same gown at a different appointment.
Exactly! She tried the dress on at another salon - there's no way she didn't look at the price while she was there. 🙄
@@lisamelroy2855 she knew the price, she was trying to get the other store to beat kleinfeld's price.
I think Ashley knew the price of the dress at the other store, and likely it was similar in price to Kleinfeld's price. I think she wanted the other store to say they would beat Kleinfeld's price. It was a bargaining strategy.
Probably was looking if the other location would cut a deal. Hence the “I either buy from you or them” line.
no no no thats not what she was doing at all! she was calling the either store to say “hey, the Kleinfeld store is giving me the exact same dress at $2300. can you beat that price?
The second bride had a really sweet and supportive group with her. I wish everyone had a group like this.
This dad is really smart with the can you walk around in it
Geez, Randy. Just because your price for the dress is half her budget doesn't mean she wants to spend more for it at your place than at another. Props to her for trying to save money.
Jeez Randy? Jeez her. She’s wasting the worker’s time & money. No one would go to a Chanel boutique and try to get a $2.5k handbag for cheaper. You would’ve had to work on commission in the past to understand. She should’ve compared prices in private. She was trying to get something cheaper at either store & it failed. Tacky!
It's absolutely rude to waste peoples time- people know how much dresses are at Kleinfelds and if you're that budget conscience then make an appointment someplace else. Very classless.
@@thejuliasaro she is a customer not a guest. Kleinfelds will have a mark up just because of the store name. She's totally welcome to go and compare prices
Correct, she should go home and compare prices but sit and call another store while sitting in the dress in Kleinfelds is classless.
Then she shouldn’t waste their time, it is still a business. She is tacky as can be.
Ashley should have done the adult thing to get the quote of the other store that she already visited, before stepping into Kleinfelds. Glad she was able to finish her purchase with Randy. 😉✌️❤️🦋🙏
i think what she was calling about was to find out if the other store would BEAT kleinfeld's price.
@@dietotaku Tacky move. And l think dressing room 22 has a rolling camera going during all business hours. She knew the price then. Thank goodness for Randy's personality.
Agree
@@trudy285oh go cry a river. It wasn't tacky in the slightest.
@@scholasticbookfair. 😂
the look on randy's face when he's about to say "are you saying yes to the dress?" and the consultant blurts out "is this your dress?" 😂
HAHHAHAHA RIGHT??? She ruined HIS moment 😂😂
@@imakuro9066 it was very "THAT'S NOT THE CATCHPHRASE!!"
@@dietotaku True, but that catchphrase needs to go. There has been so many videos with it at the end. There needs to be a new gimmick as far as phrases goes for wrapping up the end of the show(s).
That's probably why she blurted ahead of him. She's tired of the catchphrase too!😅
I don't blame the first bride for being thrifty. She probably should've priced the dress at the first place when she tried it on, but you do what you have to do. The second bride looked beautiful in every dress, but the last one was definitely the winner. It was beautiful. Made her look very tall and statuesque.
I'm sure first bride knew the price of the dress from the other store. It was probably similar in price to Kleinfeld's price. I think she wanted the other store to say they would beat Kleinfeld's price. It was a bargaining strategy.
@@andydufresne5297💯💯
Awww that second bride had the most beautiful best friend
I have a feeling it was staged for the first bride. Who in the world would call in the store with the cameraman? I think Kleinfeld did it on purpose to promote themselves.
Good point. Plus her hair changed during the supposed conversation.
It was scripted, as is everything on these shows.
It was probably the TV producers who had her do a fake phone call to create drama since this would not have been a very memorable segment without that twist. I doubt Kleinfeld initiated that.
Good point
It is fake. Also the consultants pretending that they don’t know if they have the dress and then pretending to have a hard time finding it is fake. They can look up their inventory on the computer and see what they have available in the store. And I’m sure they have some system for hanging the dresses in the back rooms. They don’t just randomly hang them up anywhere.
If she tried the dress on earlier in the other salon, did she not know their price already? 🤷♀️
I think she wanted to see if they would decrease the price. I personally wouldn’t do that, but some people live for that.
You can't blame her for wanting to save money. Especially since this show loves to pick dresses that are OUT of the bride's peice range.
This dress was half of what the bride said her budget was
Classless...
I agree. But she could call after she left. I'm a bargain hunter too and I would go to the store to try the clothes on and check if there are better offers for the exactly same items.
That was tacky she could have easily waited and called around after she left the salon.
Yes, you CAN blame her. She was willing to waste these people's time and money. This is how they make their living. Shame on her for even considering doing that to other people. Just like she did to the first consultants.
She’s a good daughter!! Thinking of her dad & trying to find the best price ❤
The First Lady was a little rude. I understand people want to save money where they can, but calling another shop while you’re at an appointment is pretty rude.
No don’t think so..
never ceases to amaze me how rude some people can be. just go elsewhere and make the call
You are so right, calling the other store while being at another store. Pretty rude.
Agreed - there’s no need to be so self centered
They pull dresses out of budget all the time so 🤷🏽♀️ o well
I would have done the same thing the bride did … call to see if they would bargain…the worst thing is they can no. I give the bride props!
@@rosallumetta2864 i would not do it - lazy - but I respect somebody who will.
You can price shop all you want.. but don't be rude calling from the fitting room while you're still in it. Having zero consideration for Sarah and the staff who searched up and down for it. She knew it was $2,300 before she put it on. Tacky.
have none of y'all ever bargain-hunted? she tries on the dress at the first salon, say it's $2700 there. she goes to kleinfeld's, they have the same dress for $2300. would you really not call the first store and say "hey, they've got this dress for $400 cheaper, can you beat that price?" 9 times out of 10 they will because they want the sale. in this case they either wouldn't or couldn't, so the bride can rest easy knowing she got the best price for the dress she wants.
@@dietotakuThat makes absolutely no sense. Why go to another store when you can get the dress for $2300 at Kleinfelds? Think about what you wrote. Geesh, it’s the same dress by the same designer and it’s $2300. Why bargain, when you’ve got the bargain at Kleinfelds. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@@dietotakuIf she tried the dress on and she loved it why would she go to Kleinfelds? They are not known for their cheap prices?
I personally think Ashley was a smart shopper. There is no law against price comparison .She could have maybe used more discretion. Beautiful Dress
It’s not the price comparison that is the issue she should already know the price from the other salon if she has gone there
What makes it easy for the salesperson is she "narrowed" it down to $6000.
If be price shopping. By the time she pays for alterations, it's no longer $2300. Anywhere you can save is important.
Show stopper dress is just that, and she was so sweet
I don't see that the first bride did anything wrong.
Accept that she should have already known the price the other salon was charging when she came in and then if she got a better price there she could then have politely told them so at klienfeld and if klienfeld was less she would not have had to say anything it was all about drama 🎭
@@kellicoffman8440I guarantee you that was the idea of the show for her to do that. She did know the price so there would be no reason for her to make that phone call but it makes for a little drama on the show. That was all reality TV stuff
@@Justicia007 exactly
Like she dosen't know there are cameras in the room.
That’s the whole point. It’s called staged!
‘Secretly’ on camera. yup
"From the privacy of the fitting room"....with cameras right there. I understand looking for a bargain, but don't call while you're still in the first store, still on their time.
That is so rude! Call from somewhere else. That is so disrespectfull to the staff!
I respect the hustle. I would be calling up boutiques to compare prices as well.
Right there in the dressing room while you're wearing it? That was a tacky move.
@@1957DLT she's the one paying for it. She's a customer not a house guest
I would too but not when I am in the actual store. I think that is very rude.
@@1957DLT no not in the dressing room of course. Don't want to advertise that I'm poor lol!! But yeah I agree that calling infront of the store employees is tacky and disrespectful.

Getting the best price is important.
I see alot of ppl saying they dont blame the bride for being thrifty. Its freaking kleinfeld!!! They are an expensive store, if she was that worried about money she shouldn't have gone there
If I started pageants as a young adult, sheeessh, I’d be bargain hunting too. Those dresses ain’t cheap!
She has the right to find a cheaper price, for goodness sake!!! AND she will feel much better saying yes knowing that she wasn't throwing away money needlessly!!
She was already at the other salon. Shouldn't she know their price?
@@muchtested she might have forgotten it or they might have said they would match it
@@muchtestedI think it was staged and Kleinfield most likely did it on purpose to promote themselves.
The first bride: That’s not thrifty, it’s tacky to call the other store to see if you can get it cheaper, especially because the dress is less than half her budget. There is nothing kind, sweet, warm or even just friendly about her.
It’s all about the TV drama
just because you're okay with throwing away money doesn't mean everyone is. the more she can save on the dress, the more she can spend on other things like wedding favors or decorations or nicer catering.
@@dietotaku so I am okay with throwing away money because I am not tacky? I have no Idea how you come to draw that ‘conclusion’ but you couldn’t be further from the truth, you don’t know me and you never will. Assumptions are ALWAYS stupid and never right because they are concocted from your imagination.
She could have just said she wanted to sleep on it and then called the other boutique when she left.
When they spend time searching the store for an specific dress I wonder: don’t they have like a logistic system where they know based on the reference number where is it stored? I don’t know, maybe it’s all staged and it’s just to give it some mystery…
It’s hard when there are so many simultaneous appts for the consultants to put the dresses away properly. Not many people would be willing to only put gowns away when the consultants get commission on sales.
now that is just embarrassing. At least do that secretly at home. dang.
Why did she have to call? Didn’t she get the price when she tried it on? Was she trying to haggle??
I have a feeling that call is fake.
Probably. Trying to get the other store to lower their price.
She did a Monica. 🤣
She is doing the right thing, if the same dress is cheaper in another shop, why shouldn't she get the cheaper one and save some money.
It's tacky to call the other store from Kleinfeld's dressing room. And she loved that dress so much last week that she doesn't remember how much it was? Seems more like she was hoping that Kleinfeld's would drop the price so she would pick their dress.
Obviously staged
Ashley... take a hike.
Second bride is so cute 😆
for the second bride, i liked the second dress the best
She was a sweetheart and beautiful in any dress but honestly I just don't like those panina tornay satin heavy gowns with all the heavy crystals on the top. I'm kind of over them since a lot of people wear them. I really liked the second and third one she tried on.
Randy is so out of touch if he can't fathom someone wanting to get the cheapest price.
He's probably thinking that having the Kleinfeld name is worth a couple extra hundred dollars
it's an old episode. Things change and times have certainly changed :P. Back then I probably would've said she's tacky as well!
Let’s be honest, no one likes overpaying for anything when you can get it cheaper somewhere else so easily!
Heck, I even compare prices of same items at target and Walmart to save!!😂😂😂
The second bride is sooo pretty 😍
😬
@@AS-yz2iz Exactly! What I thought too! 😁It's all you could see and focus on more than anything especially when they zoomed in on her face up close.
She’s good at doing business. I think it was a smart move.
"I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!" The last bride is unusual. Loved the dress!!
Why didn’t she ask the price when she tried it on?
Yes, especially since she's do 'thrifty.'
Right? I would know exactly what the price was. But that dress wasn’t really worth it. Very underwhelming.
She was trying to see if the other salon would beat it knowing she was going to buy else where. And they were stupid not to. The sale was theirs to lose, and they did.
If youre CHEAP , just tell them a lower limit . Dont insult Randy or his stafff , by going Walmart there.
Rude to expect the salon to cater to all your wants and needs, to do all the work and then to try and get it cheaper at another salon. She should have done the pricing beforehand.
Except she found the dress at the other salon. The bride asked to pull the dress if they have it. Sarah didn’t really do anything here. She wasn’t even the one who looked for and found the dress. She just told some underpaid overworked stock girl to do it lol.
@@thehungrygoldfish So she knew the price at the other store. This is all scripted.
@@wintercame She was trying to get the best deal so she was using it as a negotiation tactic.
@@thehungrygoldfish Um, duh. And that worked well, exposing her as a classless loser-user.
Bro I would've doubled checked with the other store too and not cared who saw. 😂 Good for her.
Ashley gives me the vibes of a spoiled mean girl, you know, the one who belittles everyone and has a very high opinion of herself and nobody else.
I agree and cheap
I know this is an old video/short of a TV show but I have seen this so many times on this show. A future bride comes in with a picture and a name of the designer, loves a particular dress and the associate is struggling to find it. Kleinfelds stock must be so disorganized that the associate can't find a particular dress? I think Kleinfelds needs a professional organizer
Why WOULDN'T she call another store to see if she can get a better price? She's starting a new life, a new marriage and a new round of marriage-related debt. Just because it's within her budget, she has every right to find the best price.
So she didn’t check price at other store ? Right ? I call BS
Actually, my guess is that she KNOWS the price at the other store and was calling to tell them she'd gotten a certain price at Kleinfeld's and was looking for the other store to match or beat it. I did that with my first car. @@100Mickl
I don’t blame her for wanting the best price but she should’ve had that information before going to the store.
I don't see how the staged calling of the other store was that big a deal. (And yes, it was staged.) Just because the dress was under budget I'd still want to save a few more dollars if possible. That being said, I would have noted the price with the picture of the dress at the same time, seeing as she's looking for something similar. Be prepared for price shopping. I'd even ask "Hey, I love your dress. This place will give me $$$ off, can you give me a better deal? Sometimes the mark ups are so high that they have no problem with giving a better price.
It’s SO tacky to take advantage of a consultant busting her ass for you and then, once you’ve found the dress, going phone shopping for the same one. The consultant worked SO HARD for her and deserves that commission!!! I worked at Macy’s on commission and sold party gowns. People would get the very best attention from me and find the perfect gown, buy it and then return it after the weekend party- stained armpits, makeup on the bust and the commission came right back out of my paycheck!
She did find the dress first at the other salon so the other bridal consultant she worked with deserved it more because she probably picked it out. Sarah did not pick out the dress.
@@thehungrygoldfishso many assumptions on your part, it’s just what they are: assumptions, you make up your own story, this bride is a tacky as they get
@@xxxx-qo9dh It’s not an assumption. In the video, Sarah hardly did anything. She wasn’t even the one who went searching for the dress. It was a poor stock girl. Sarah told other people to find the dress for her. That’s not “hard work,” lol.
In the privacy of the fitting room........producers proceed to record her for everyone to see. Terrible the show was trying to shame her. "Half of her budget. Why is she calling the other salon." I definitely would!
I wouldn't, she definitely should already know the price of the first salons !?!?!
I bet she already knew the price at the other salon, but wanted to pit them against each other
Cause she is smart, Randy, that's why.
If you didn't want to pay a high price for your dress why are you there? That's just a waste of your time and the bridal shops time
She's getting great service at Kleinfeld's, which she might not find everywhere else. Service still counts in large amounts. It would be a shame if she undercut them after all of that.
oh Randy... if you don't understand the concept of saving money on a purchase, then it's a really good thing that you're rich.
Who cares, she has a budget and weddings are expensive af! Yall pull dresses thousands out of budget all the time! 🤷🏽♀️
Weddings don’t have to or need to be expensive. My cousin traveled overseas and had a simple ceremony with his wife and streamed it for their family since they couldn’t make it. It is up to you.
@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj Weddings are expensive. Your cousin eloped.
weddings are so expensive, I don't blame her for comparing prices.
It's not wrong to compare prices, but doing it right there in the store with the staff waiting is just rude and kinda manipulative - like those people who try to haggle by saying "oh, I can get it cheaper elsewhere". I hope her budget of $5k was because the other store tried to charge her that amount. Lol!
Too staged. Of course she already knew the price from the other store. Randy was just adding to the drama. This was just another promo for kleinfelds “we have the best dresses for the best prices”.
Why would she need to call a shop she’s already been to, to get a price on a dress that she has already tried on? Seems like a TLC production plot line…
There is nothing wrong with a little price matching! Especially because she was being respectful of the fact that her father was paying
Both brides look amazing in the dresses they picked.
Randy you're not customer's relative or something. Stop expecting like they are. You are not giving away the dresses. She has all the right to compare before buying
OMG THE AUDACITY !
The employees hard work, professionalism and friendly demeanor are worth paying a little extra.
Exactly. It's not all about that last dollar, service is a big component. And the °other store° isn't putting her on TV, is it.
I'm sure she got good service at the other store, too. Does their time not matter?
@@kimm6589The service comes in finding the chosen dress. You win some, you lose some.
It's so much money for one dress. Love to see a bride being thrifty and not trying to squeeze every last penny from her dad ❤
Aren't retail prices set by the manufacturers? It wasn't clear if Kleinfeld was less expensive than the other salon, or if the price was the same. Either way, the bride shouldn't have called the other salon while being filmed at Kleinfeld. That was rude, as was the way she was evading Randy's questions because she knew she was going to sneak back into the fitting room and call the other salon. Not classy at all.
I cannot with the tackiness of the first girl. She thinks she is thrifty but yet made an appointment at Kleinfelds! MMKAY
Finally, someone sensible 😂
Its so disingenuous to go to a full service salon, have them spend so much time with you in consultation and fitting, and not buy the dress from them in the end. If you want to price shop, then go to a salon which has less service and less inventory. I'm all for price shopping, but I would never take advantage of a consultant in this manner: its very low brow...and if you can afford $5,000 for a dress, you definitely should know better.
I totally agree with the bride, she didn't want to put pressure on her father. She can get the cheaper one if its the same dress. There is no point paying extra.
Budget is $5k, dress is half that. So call another bridal shop, from the dressing room of the bridal shop you're in, and try to strong arm them into giving you a better deal? Rude. If you must, leave the store and then call the other shop.
I like the third dress better!
A thrifty person goes to Kleinfeld and expects a cheap dress? What?
I can’t believe she did that with the cameraman right there lmao
Why try to make the best friend look jealous by focusing on her face? People can always help their facial expressions. She was being supportive throughout.
The stunt double was SO ANNOYING…OMG 🤮
It's tacky to call another store to get a better price. She can do that at home and call the store back later.
finally a caption i can relate to
Am I the only one who is sick to death of strapless mermaid and fit-and-flare type wedding gowns (I really can't tell them apart)? Every bride looks the same.
I really dislike strapless!!
Nothing wrong with shopping for a better price… even when you’re at a different store (some places will match the price of the competition to get the sale… so )
Make phone call in front of the camera and change her hair style too 🎉🎉🎉
Randy goes “her budget is 5,000 this one is only 23,000 only half more of the budget” 💀 why am I confused did they purposely give her a dress way out of her budget??
Kleinfelds is not the only show in town.
Should she not already know the price from the other salon why would she have to call accept for Drama 🎭
How the heck do the sales people find dresses in the store there are so many hahah
They do those things for drama everyone! 😂
The look on the friends face has me puzzled.
I mean... I can kinda understand comparing the prices since there are markups between stores just because. Everyone wants a good deal. But the dress is HALF the price she's after when she only wanted to spend $5000. It's already a steal.
Not only that, but if she was going to compare prices, I would have the price from the salon already written down and memorized. Not call them IN THE STORE I'm looking at now.
I believe that calling while she is on camera was tacky. She couldn't stepped away or something else. I don't know. It just felt wrong. 💛
I knew right off the bat the first bride was a Barbie doll 🙄….saving money is one thing but doing it as she has is kinda tacky…
Christie's fiance looks like her dad. Wow.
People should find prices out before shopping at her a store. No cool to do this in front of cameras.
