The BIG UPGRADE ! Touring Bag Conversion

I just finished a very big upgrade on my Low Rider ST. It's the touring saddlebag conversion. It actually wasn't a complicated process, but the it required a new exhaust install because my previous exhaust was slightly swept up and didn't allow enough space for the conversion bracket .The outcome is well worth it in my opinion.

Bro i felt worried about mine too with the sawicki speed mid length and it hasn’t burned a hole through in over 5k miles of hard riding! I did put some black heat resistant tape on underside just for my peace of mind✌🏽 ⚡️

Hi Sandy I get what you are doing need bigger bags honestly in my opinion the muffler with the upsweep does not look that great you have to find a way to level the muffler then you got a winner cheers my friend

Hmmmm that bag looks too close to the exhaust. You might be ok when you’re moving, but as soon as you hit traffic it’s gonna cook it or whatever’s in the bag. Just a thought do extended bags have a heat shield built into them?????

Yeah block head did these bags and I am in need I really wish someone would make a kit that allows for me to still mount passenger pegs and sissy bar to carry passenger

I don’t think so.. the OG pipes sit high. The bags sit low. Even with his 2-1 it’s barley enough clearance
