Need help for tactics here Replayed again and hoping for better outcome. My team is Basilux ( Grass/Electric ) Rapid Growth , Thunderbolt , Giga Drain , Raze Earth Kaminary ( Fire/Psychic ) Flamethrower , Heat Wave , Extrasensory , Nasty Plot Lucario ( Fighting/Steel ) Blaze Kick , Hi Jump Kick , Magnum Punch , Magnet Force Selody ( Water/Ice ) Frostbite , Surf , Hydro Pump , Psychic Pteriarch ( Rock/Flying ) Rock Slide , Drill Peck , Crunch , Fly Almaria ( Ghost ) Dark Pulse , Shadow Ball , Quiver Dance , Shadow Claw First question is , do i need to delete attacking moves and replace some with more supportive role like Baton Pass ? I do have buffs in term of Nasty Plot and Quiver Dance ( As far as i recall Pteriarch also has Dragon Dance by breeding ) . Second , should i put more STAB or keep it as is with coverages ?
Use shericoil for paralyze, Metagross for hard hitting explosion and steel moves,yunesis same as Metagross,some fast fire types that can inflict burn,and defensive/speedy pokemon,just a help
Using straightforward moves will not work. You need some utility moves such as stat boosting moves. Baton Pass actually works well with it too. You also need 1 or 2 tanks in your team for luring/setting up and baton pass.
My best guess for luring is when Turner is about to use Lugia. His Lugia has Choice Band and you can take advantage of it. Put a steel type in front of it then switch to a flying type or any pokèmon with levitate. Lugia will use Earthquake for your steel type earlier but since you switched with pokemon with immunity to ground type, it will be stuck using earthquake without harming the pokemon you just switched. And that's the best time you set up and use baton pass. Just set up quickly because Turner might decide to switch.

2 years later but you actually can get his pokemon by using the catch trainer pokemon, I got all of them and they are outright broken XD
