- What's going on with Monty? Draft is only two weeks away and the draft is wide open! Who will the Pistons be able to sign in free agency?
Sorry, Dave, I'm not sold on Cunningham. Good player, but too fragile. As I'm watching the Celtics headed towards an NBA title again, I'm impressed by their 3-point shooting. As a former Warriors fan, the 3 is the game today. Where's the consistent 3-point threat on the Pistons? At the age of 64, I'm a little old to be waiting for years to support a winner.

Monty's lineups were incomprehensible, his minutes distributions were incomprehensible and his substitution patterns where incomprehensible - other than that he was just freaking peachy as our coach. : /

Victor is an alien and in 1 yr showed way more potential then Cade in 3 years, one major reason is cades injuries , which would scare anyone giving a max contract too. I like Cade but he needs to show more durability and improvement , just sucks we haven’t seen as much of him due to his injuries and now we have to pay him.
I like Holland, seems the most likely to be available for #5 with the least weaknesses and the prototypical long wing every team needs several of

You had elements of your game that were very much like Pistol Pete (handles, behind the back stuff) and Jerry West (finding ways to make your team win). The reasons I wore 44 were Jerry West, Pistol Pete, Hank Aaron, and Dave and Tim Dalton.

Since Monty hasn't been fired by now, unfortunately, we're probably stuck with him. He blew Ausar's chances of making the all rookie team and possibly defensive player of the year, he screwed with Ivey's development, and sabotaged the entire team. Majority of Pistons community want to see him gone. Would be a huge letdown if he stays.

He has no idea how to evaluate talent. That team was no worse than a .500 team. As tough as it would be monetarily, I would send him packing or trade him to the Lakers and pay half the salary instead of ALL. Just say'in.

Totally confused. I’m hearing the Pistons need instant scoring, so I’m thinking they should be leaning towards the Tennessee product. This could be a smoke screen. The aforementioned players are several years away from developing.

Ron Holland best option at 5 i wouldn't max cade out haven't proven he deserves it Monty should of gotten fired before Troy lets get Sam Cassell rondo or Iggy as hc Adam Simon as GM

I have been a piston fan for 70 years...I played..I coached...my strategy is to keep all the first round young players all 5..keep Sasser and Fettecheeni....I'm not sure about Grimes...but then get some talented vets.....then Monte has something to work with

Piston Mic just had a short on all who the Pistons worked out. He said they were all 2nd rounders which makes him think that we will definitely trade the 5th pick.
I only know of Jerry West from his days as an executive. There are not many that can build teams like he could. Very rare air. Tremendous eye for talent!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾

Why is this so hard. Cade is ball dominant like Kobe. You suggest we get Klingan. He’s not a low post threat. He can’t check Zach. Defense is questionably better. What is the narrative? Biggest and best player in college we trying to get lesser smaller players to pair with Cade. Only player helps Our Pistons is Zach. Are we gonna let everyone have a 7 footer skilled in the post and we keep getting rim rollers. Klingan doesnt Fit can’t shoot free throws. So he’s still leaning and he’s better than any of the other draft picks especially the fit fit Cade and to win. That’s the recipe. Zach will get better as the season goes on. Yet he will come out as a beast. With Cade they would be unstoppable. Every game is hard for the other team. As Zach is gonna real havoc on opposing centers and forwards no matter who.

Monty Williams is a fine coach and will be given at least a year or two to get results. That's the truth of it, and not the scapegoat saga so many preach.
