would your husband ever consider going into business to make some of the props? like the magnetic shavings box and the potions magnetic one? Im so un handy and wish I could recreate it. So cool and original. I would definitely pay for props like this.
Thank you for the compliment!! As for John, he's always moving on to the next challenge, so we've never made multiples to sell. We did gift this entire setup to a public library a few years ago, tho, which was putting on their own escape room. Hopefully it brought joy to lots more people.

We made almost everything ourselves, or modified thrifted items, so it's all custom. :)
This looks amazing. What kind of lamp is that? Trying to find one myself that I can switch out with a black light
We found the little lantern at an antique store ages ago, sorry I don't have any other info on it! But yes, all we did was swap the little bulb for a black light.
was the lantern already set up for a regular light bulb or did you convert it from an oil one?@@EpbotVideo
This is absolutely incredible. I'm trying to recreate the iron shavings riddle.. How did you prevent the shavings from moving on the paper? It stains the paper and I'm trying to find a solution for that 🙏
As I recall our paper did get a little dirty, but if you'd like to avoid that try covering the paper with clear packing tape, so the dust slides over it easier.
