Cutting the thread with your teeth is such a mum thing 😂🖤😂🖤😂 forgive me if you already know, but if you check around the sewing machine where the needle is you should find a tiny little thing that looks like nothing but is actually a thread cutter. I found mine two months ago (I’ve had the machine for several years at this point) and it changed my life. I saw someone casually use it in a video and my jaw dropped, checked my machine and there it was! So anyone reading this that has a sewing machine, check it out, it could be holding secrets in chambers ready to be uncovered… ✨

a little tip for that fabric wall. you can use liquid starch to adhere fabric to a wall for a removable "wallpaper". washes right off the wall when you want to remove it.

I loved how it turned out! She looked like she loved it :) The one thing I would suggest is not to cover the window because then the room will be so dark even during the day when theres natural light. But it truly came out amazing! :D

My mom planned a Harry Potter room makeover for me too, and we only used things that we had :)
We had some Harry Potter items so we used that, we had red blankets and Harry Potter style items too. My room looks like a Gryffindor common room! 😁
Even though I’m sharing a room with my sister, we did half half, she did a different style, like an aesthetic. I did a Harry Potter style, so it’s matching colors.
I'm digging the banners⋯ I'll hang up 4 or 5 of them in my room -- after I purchase them hahaha

I used to be like this to, when my sister had just introduced me into Harry Potter I got obsessed and starting readying and watching it every minute I could, and when I was out at shops I couldn’t help but stare at Harry Potter themed stufff, they eventually caught on that u loved the franchise but I still don’t have the heart to ask them to do something like this.
The adult decorating my new place part of my brain is like : a coat of paint on the walls would've looked nice. But then that same part of my brain totally gets the overwhelming side of that.
And the Harry Potter loving child part of my brain is like : wooooow, you are the best mom ever! I want that room too!

Your kid is so lucky! I love Harry Potter and would've loved an HP bedroom theme, but my mom is into the classical styled homes. So every single room is designed exactly how she wants and unfortunately we can't change it 😅. According to my mom when we get our own homes is when we can style our own rooms lol for sure will let my kid have whatever style room she or he wants!
