The candles should have stayed up!❤️ They are brilliant and the warm glow they emit are better than the harsh puck light. The wall paper and frames work to add texture and the photos are perfect. The book page installation pulls the whole theme together. Well done!
While I definitely agree about the candles, I can only imagine how changing their batteries when they die will go, or having to take them down to replace them or if they are recharge them.
AAHHH!!! 🧙🤩❤🔥 This was amaze-balls! I must admit I was skeptical but you nailed it! The candles should've stayed, duh. 😁 I think I would've added a frame, on a hinge, to cover the thermostat (but that's just me being a Bright Idea Fairy 🙃).
Love this! I have a very funky wall in my bathroom & I did something very similar to this oddity with antique mirrors. Little tip for you, be certain to snap pics of the walls before taking anything down to clean or dust. It’ll save you a ton of madness. 🔮
I love it and I'm definitely going to use some of your ideas, however I would have painted the door frames gold, painted the ceiling black, left the floating candles and got a very antique ornate light fixture for the ceiling, and painted every single picture frame gold.😊
The thermostat needs covered with a shadow box, another picture and a hinge. You could probably conceal a small safe on one of the walls behind a picture. Or more than one. It looks beautiful!!
The candles are the best part! 🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️I would’ve kept the candles over the chandelier. It looks amazing! Beautiful wallpaper. The center light is very bright, I think an amber glow Edison type bulb would look really brilliant. Great job! Keep the candles though…
Is THAT a WHEELCHAIR lift?!?!?!?! That's AWESOME!!! Too often i am left out of great places because no one thinks about people in wheelchairs, THIS IS GREAT!! I been in a wheelchair 6 years now and a HP fan since I was a young kid! I absolutely MUST book a stay 🎉
Beautiful! I especially love the book page ceiling. I am glad to see you left the candles. I was going to suggest possibly a wall sconce with the battery candles (if you didn't want to leave them suspended from ceiling). The soft glow enhances everything all the more. Great video!
FYI there is an office supply product that is a dispenser of temporary double stick tape. It makes any piece of paper a post it note. It’s perfect for collages and placement of paper. god knows what else but I’m never without it. I think it’s called a post it tape dispenser
Ohmygoodness, this is amazing!!! Now I know what to do with my ceilings in my living room! I painted the walls a woodsy green last year and have a combo academia/travel theme. I'm adding a gallery wall and book pages on my ceiling... and floating candles!!!
I love this hallway! It really is spectacular. I do agree with most everyone else, though, about the candles. They need to be a permanent fixture. Also; one quick word to the wise: the word, timely, doesn’t mean what you think it does.
I love this idea. I personally would have modpodged the book pages to the boards and then again on top of the pages. This would have looked so much better and kept for longer. But I really love this idea of all the frames. I have a collection of old postcards from my mum and a load of old family photos from long ago. I think I will do that.
Love it. My grandson has discovered the Harry Potter books and we brought some of that magic into our living room by stringing those candles from the living room chandelier to the loft railings and the dining room chandelier and the kitchen…basically everywhere we could string them. I would love to leave them up all year but it’s a bit much. A hallway size space is perfect. I’m glad you get to live that fun year round!
Love it! And ❤ that Your Dad, Mom and Friend, and a glass of wine, were critical to your finished design. Id refinish the candles and keep them up! And color the puck light.
Wow, that was a lot of work and it turns out amazing! Personally I would have painted the ceiling dark blue with some sort of stars. Like the big hall. The candles would fit perfectly. But I also like the book pages. Very well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great video. BLOWN AWAY, it looks amazing. I too am I HP fan. I have a whole room with it. While I am 68 and live in Texas I am still watching HP. I love your new lamp. For your thermostat you could tape with 2 sided tape Harry Potter lumos knox design plat onto it.
I absolutely love this! I love how there were no rules and you just did as you wanted. It looks so magical and whimsical. Also, has anyone ever told you you like Amy Lee from Evanescence?
What a fun project - LOVE the Wm Morris wallpaper! The portraits are a great, and even floating candles 🕯- so kool!! I had a closet under the stairs in my old Oregon farmhouse, and thought of Harry when i was digging around for something!i
Aaaa-maaaazing!!! I love everything. Plus you are a genuine HOOT. I enjoyed every minute of this whimsical Harry Potter rabbit-hole joy dive. Well done you and thank you- I’ve subscribed. I’m a fan. 🎉😂❤😂🎉
It’s hella cool for Halloween. I really loved the floating candles. The pop light wound look better in a warm yellow tone Like the candles. It’s 💣 love it❤️
So a renter friendly way to hang frames is using push pins instead of nails. Like the clear style. The hole is tiny. Also, I would have left the candles but maybe put them closer to the ceiling for an everyday look. Looks great! I'm going to do something similar soon.
I am assuming the reason you mentioned taking away the candles in the future is because of how difficult it will be when you have to change the batteries, or recharge them. I would recommend possibly using wall sconces in parts instead of just pictures. My mom has some corner ones she got from my grandmother so if you got corner ones they might fit in those tighter spots but I don’t know
OMG !!! I LOVE IT ❤️ My daughter is doing HP in her room as well. This gives me lots of ideas . Pretty awesome and lots of fun. God bless and stay safe 🙏 ❤️
I love this.Watched while customising a cheap kids Griffindor cloak.Making cool for myself as I’m small enough to get away with wearing it.Jealous of your Snape Ortrait.Love that man.Don’t tell anyone.I’m not suppose to have a crush although in reality I’m fifty so nearer to it being slightly acceptable.😂❤
I know this project is long over, and the book page ceiling looks awesome, but just FYI. Dollar Tree has 12x12 tin-look ceiling tiles for $1.25. Maybe you saw them there and didn't like them.
I definitely considered that! But I was shocked when I did the math. For such a small space I would still need around 28 tiles. And then it just became much more expensive when I was looking for a $0 diy. Haha.
Where did you get the pictures? ❤ love that they are HP characters. Am loving this whole idea, was even thinking of using my own family pictures when I create my own Hall.
The candles should have stayed up!❤️ They are brilliant and the warm glow they emit are better than the harsh puck light. The wall paper and frames work to add texture and the photos are perfect. The book page installation pulls the whole theme together. Well done!
Yeh i thought the same, the white puck light killed the vibe.
This lady should definitely collab with Christine McConnell. This hallway is gorgeous
I would have tea stained the ceiling book pages and used and acrylic glaze over them.
Nooooo it looks so beautiful with the candles 😭😭😭
Love this! I have a very funky wall in my bathroom & I did something very similar to this oddity with antique mirrors. Little tip for you, be certain to snap pics of the walls before taking anything down to clean or dust. It’ll save you a ton of madness. 🔮
Good idea!!! Would be such a puzzle
Love this! I would leave the candles it adds to the HP factor 🧙🏻♀️🕯️🦉
1920s style wallpaper. I love it
It’s perfect because my house was built in the 20s!
It’s a William Morris design, if you’re interested
I love it and I'm definitely going to use some of your ideas, however I would have painted the door frames gold, painted the ceiling black, left the floating candles and got a very antique ornate light fixture for the ceiling, and painted every single picture frame gold.😊
Love that plan! You have to send us a picture of you end up doing it-sounds amazing!
The candles absolutely should’ve stayed! Beautiful either way ❤
The thermostat needs covered with a shadow box, another picture and a hinge. You could probably conceal a small safe on one of the walls behind a picture. Or more than one. It looks beautiful!!
Love the ideas!
Just say the mismatched wallpaper is from all the stairs always moving! ;) Love this!
😂 amazing!!!!
What a clash with that white light at the end
Take some coffee and age the pages on the ceiling! It does look very cool, and I LOVE IT!
Team candles. I actually have some in my home. Love it.
✨You should have a “live”-foto frame so you could have moving people hanging on the wall like in the movies!👍✨
Yeeeeesssss, floating candles all the way.😊
The result is magical (pun intended 😆) .
I love love love it!
Thank you so much!!

You’ll need more staples than you think! 🤣
Keep the candles! If you’re going for it, GO for it!! Nice job!
Oh crap, you took the candles down? That's what made it Harry Potter! Darn!😏
That is so cool! You should leave the candles! ❤
As soon as September hits they’re going back up! 🤣
You must feel like you're walking into Hogwarts!..So amazing!😊
Yes! I love it so much. It really feel me with joy when I come home and see it.
I love everything about it. And oh my gosh! LOVE the candles! Leave them. They are so cool.
Love the risks you take, especially being a massive Harry Potter fan. Looks magical!
I love the candles that looks so cool.
I love this hallway! It really is spectacular. I do agree with most everyone else, though, about the candles. They need to be a permanent fixture.

I love Harry Potter and I love your idea. I am a real witch and no way should you take the candles down!!!! It is awesome!!!!
Definitely leave the candles up!!! Loved this.
Very magical.
I treat myself like a toddler constantly. Snacks only when the work is done!
Love it! And ❤ that Your Dad, Mom and Friend, and a glass of wine, were critical to your finished design.
Id refinish the candles and keep them up! And color the puck light.
Good ideas! And yes it’s so nice to call in the Calvary!!
That hallway is AMAZING 🤩!!! OMG you nailed it. Be proud, you did a wonderful job 👏.
First I love Anything Harry Potter!!! I love it!! Such fun in a world that needs more fun. Great job!!
Thank you so much!! Same same!!
This looks so awesome! Id love to something like this for hogwarts legacy somewhere in my house
Haven’t even started watching the video and I’m HERE FOR IT 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Wow, that was a lot of work and it turns out amazing! Personally I would have painted the ceiling dark blue with some sort of stars. Like the big hall. The candles would fit perfectly. But I also like the book pages. Very well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
LOVE I actually just bought my first house and i want it to look museum-like and this gives me that vibe
You get my creative juices flowing! Lol. Keep the candles up!
Thank you!! Let me know if you do anything similar!!
Candles should’ve stayed and the puck light colour was too cold for that hall. If you could get a warm light for the puck light, I’d keep it all 😊
the candles were so good w that :,)
I LOVE the Haway and the candles are awesome!
Great video. BLOWN AWAY, it looks amazing. I too am I HP fan. I have a whole room with it. While I am 68 and live in Texas I am still watching HP. I love your new lamp.

It’s amazing! The gallery wall with that wallpaper… 😍
Thank you!!! Took forever. 🤣🤣 I love looking at it everyday.
Love the project! Would leave up the candles, just not have them on all the time. So fun! Whimsy rocks!
So true! ☺️☀️
You should paint the crown molding a different color. It makes a huge impact.
I absolutely love this! I love how there were no rules and you just did as you wanted. It looks so magical and whimsical. Also, has anyone ever told you you like Amy Lee from Evanescence?
I’ve never gotten Amy Lee before what a compliment!! I love singing Bring Me to Life for karaoke though. So kind of you!
Love love love it! The candles are fantastic and it all just fits together perfectly. 👌I need to find a place in my house where I could redo it. 😂
What a fun project - LOVE the Wm Morris wallpaper!
The portraits are a great, and even floating candles 🕯- so kool!!
I had a closet under the stairs in my old Oregon farmhouse, and thought of Harry when i was digging around for something!i

Curious about the push pins, can you explain more on how to use them? I feel like the frames would be to heavy for them? Thanks
Just found your channel, this video is amazing! 😂 I throw a HP movie night every year so I was looking for idea to decorate!

No this is epic.

I enjoy your videos and content and love the wallpaper, frames, and the book page covered ceiling!
From drab to fab!!!
Thank you! ☺️
I had a small hallway like yours in my old house..but never got around to redoing it. The HP picture frames would have looked great.
I’d have matched all the frames…all stain…all shades of gray etc. which is super easy with Rub n Buff
I thought ooooh noooo but actually its fantstic well done looks amasing ❤❤❤❤
WOW…IT CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL… NICE JOB..
oh it turned out so cool!
Thank you! ☺️☀️
I love this, you did a great job!
Thank you so much!
That turned out so amazing!! 👏
i LOVED the candles!!!
Absolutely amazing!!!!!
Where did you get the pictures? ❤ love that they are HP characters. Am loving this whole idea, was even thinking of using my own family pictures when I create my own Hall.
I got most of the pictures from the met museum.org but I also screenshotted some scenes from the movies!
So super cool!!! 💝
This came out so good!
I love this!! Please keep showing!!
I LOVE the Vintage storage cupboards? you have. Yeah "command strips" aren't as sticky as they use to be.
Loved!!! You’ve given me ideas for my hallway.
Love it all.❤❤❤
I know this was a year ago…. Just found this and it’s devinnnne 💕x
This is AWESOME
