Praying the scriptures is a great way to use the Bible in our prayers, to guide and shape our prayers in line with God's will. Not sure how? In this video we walk you through a step-by-step guide to praying scripture, from choosing which Bible passage to pray, to praying the Bible passage. I have found that the psalms are good for this, because the psalmist is usually crying out to God for protection, wisdom, strength, healing etc. Or, is praising and worshipping God.
There are many psalms which relate to our modern-day issues. I pray the psalm as if it is myself speaking to God.
