Why stop scamming when the punishment for it isn't so bad.
That's why people like him, Logan Paul and crypto king are still active and scamming with no consequences on sight.
And I know the people who are stupid enough to buy into those scams are idiots but still, evil people should be punished for their crimes.

I watched the Hulu documentary. It made me want to hear Billy and his lawyers' side of the story. I remember the doc featuring everyone who worked for him throwing him under the bus while making themselves look completely innocent. I find it hard to believe that Billy made every decision in a vacuum without anyone else's input. It was an interesting documentary except it made everyone else involved look like they had no control over anything happening and had nothing to do with the festival's failure.

American Greed did a show on this too. They interviewed Bahamian construction workers who put in 16-hour days trying to build the place from nothing.
I *almost* pitied them for never getting paid, until they described Billy F showing them (fake) bank statements with promises to make payroll ... later.
They should've walked off the job and called a lawyer.

There's a hiking trail in Virginia called Crabtree Falls. It's a huge cascading waterfall. The falls themselves are blocked off from the trail, but people still hop the barricades and hang out on the slippery rocks.
Well, I went there one time and there was a bit of a line to get into the parking lot. It turns out some people had hopped the barricade and slipped, falling quite a ways and severely injuring themselves -- emergency services had to shut down the trail for a bit to peel them off the rocks.
Well, once that was all over we walked the trail, and what did we see? More people doing yoga past the barricades on the waterfall. When I mentioned that not 20 minutes before someone had slipped and suffered severe injury, they laughed jovially and kept on going.
All this is to say that some people are mentally deficient beyond all comprehension. Some of those people are also rich. They were probably *stuck on the desert island* in the first Fyre festival, yet they're the first in line for the second one. After a certain point you just have to cut the umbilical chord. Make them wire you a million dollars before you'll send food and water the next time they screw up.

The guy kinda reminds you of hunter or brandon himself. An aimless felon that just keeps coning and victimizing willing fools knowing that they will never be held accountable.

I really enjoy the fact that Brett is saying all these things like will people be crazy enough to buy tickets or will be con these suckers again and she follows up with I’m on the wait list to go

If he is really trying to make amends then I support him. He seems weird, but if he's trying to raise money so that he can refund the fake tickets OR so he can put on the show for real this time for those who already bought the fake tickets then I think thats a good thing. He has to do something to help the people he's harmed and if his name can still raise money I say go for it.

Sorry to the based Billys out there, but just go by Bill or William from now on.
