Just a quick tip if that carb came with a foam air filter I would %100 suggest using that but you will need to get some oil for it if that is the case nice bike I have the exact one and looks like a good carb makuni is a good brand love the vids
Thanks man!!! I totaly agree with you. My bike has a hose that goes from the air filter to the engine to cool down the motor. So I keep buying the original air filter with the hose attachment from ebay.
Gotta question I got a ssr 110 and I’m just about ready to put the carb in but I ran into a problem the cap that twist onto the carb at the top don’t fit my new carb and I don’t know how to get it off?
Any hose in the air filter is definitely the crank case vent tube, it's put there for emissions reasons. Just vent your case to the chain, but input a filter in it. If you're bogging, you need to up the jet size(s).
Yea I thought about it but the way they designed the bike, the air filter is also hooked up to the engine helping it keep cool. I think the bike will last longer leaving it the way it is.
@@OutdoorsCee I put that little exhaust hose to blow out next to the frame up high and bought a UNI filter. It didn't make sense to me that they were putting hot air back into the intake. Thought it was maybe emissions compliant for CA or something crazy.
@@maybeso1547 anytime you see exhaust recirculating it has something to do with warming it up faster. (on a car it's to let the enrichener cut out sooner) However once something is warmed up, you do NOT want warm air going in it. It's jsut something to try and make it more rideable to a novice as it prob. is only useful for a minute at most.
Thanks for watching bro!!! The cap is around 4 inches round and the kick starter is also about 4 inches where you put your feet on and kick. The long part of the kick starter is around 10 inches.
I bought this exact carb from the link and it didn't say "Mikuni" on it. In fact it doesn't have any print anywhere on it. With that being said, the carb bogs upon acceleration in 2nd gear, bog and wants to die, until i back it off. Been trying to play with the idle screw mixture screw to no avail. Probably a knock off POS from "carbhub"
It feels stronger. specially If you lift the handles up and hit the gas you're able to wheelie the bike a bit longer. I'm still working on my wheelies and this mod definitely helped with that!!!
I swapped out a new pz19 bike was running good untill I lifted the chole up... bike died instantly and now will not start with choke up or down... HELP
i'm not sure. I recommend you take the cover off your db14 and look at the description of the sprocket. with that information look it up on Amazon. Good luck!!!
whats up Wizzy!!! at 8:15 I'm installing the hose that goes from the gas tank to the carb. I never undid the part to the gas so all I had to do was connect the hose that goes to the carb.

Knock off
one question do you have to change the throttle part of the carburetor or can you keep it on
Hey quick ? Where did you get the air filter I replace my carburetor and it came with a air filter without the vent hose to plug back into.
The first hose you connected, does the other end not connect to anything?
How many kicks did it take to get started with new carb?

would that carburetor fit a TAO DB14
You should try swapping that air filter. Tao motors is notorious for their filters being restricting

OutdoorsCee I mean the thread size so I can buy the correct one np btw!
@@LikedGecko31513mm for the kick starter
Did you use the same springs that connects to the carb? Or does it come with a new spring?
it came with a new spring
Quick question , is it important to change the breather after you change the carb?
not supper important. you can clean your old one with compressed air can or air from a compressor.
will this carb fit on the 110cc tao dirt bike?

How does it run with the new carb? Does it still bog?

I agree
What kind of carburetor did you put on there? I need to do the same thing to mine!
Link in the description 🤙🏼
U didn’t change the throttle
Needle ?
Did you have to adjust yours mine will bog at low rpm no matter what I do ive messed with the screw and needle and it seams like its running to rich
I only adjust the screw part.. make sure your needle is in perfectly or else it’ll bog.
@@OutdoorsCee everything was set properly but they are sending me a new carb because i think I got a bad one
Way too much loctite😂
How do you know what throttle cable to buy for this? I have to get a new one

Someone never taught this guys righty tighty left loosy other than that not to bad
lol thanks!!!
My gasket seems too big
I put a new carb on and it was reviving super high. I’m going to replace my entire clutch today. Hopefully that helps
Check the part where the spring is on the carb. I had the same problem, I went back and made sure that the spring part is perfectly aligned!!!
Clutch has nothing to do with revving
check the slack on the throttle cable
What is the name of the stock carburetor in that db17
Can this work in a Db14 too?

Did you find out if it works?
