Hey mate, my throttle body/cable will not come out of the carby. Even though I have unscrewed it and with a bit of force it won’t come out. What do you think the problem is? The throttle doesn’t wind back much either on the handlebars. Thankyou
Maybe try to adjust the tension bolt on the throttle cable assembly for the weak winding. As far as the cable not coming out of the carb i'm not sure, maybe its catching on something.
Travis Vas Thanks for the reply mate. Couldn’t get the cable out so I cleaned the carby and she’s running now. Albeit a bit rough and cuts out when I roll the throttle off but I’m getting there. Thanks again
@@coletrickle8630 Thanks for the comment! Good to hear it, cleaning the carb is never a bad idea,. I was thinking maybe the screw on cap for the throttle is cross threaded and stuck, maybe try getting some locking pliers on there and a little force? good luck
I got mine of but I can’t get it on I got a new carburettor that’s the same size as the old one but I needed to replace the spring the needle & everything

Your carburettor looks different from mine i got a brand new bike and theres a hose at the bottom but it isn't connected to anything and can't see where it goes the fuel line is connected so its not that theres another hose at the bottom of the carburettor which isn't attached to anything
My Apollo’s throttle cable was the same way. When you switched your choke to run did it rev high like there’s a stuck throttle in the card?? Mine is doing that I can’t find out why. I took it apart and redid it and it’s doing the same thing, could it be the spring?
Cable is not long enough and spring might be bigger with more tension I just put a new 125 cc engine on my crf70 it wa see rid because with my old carburetor it works and runs perfectly fine I put he new carb like the one he took off piece of shit revs like it's guna blow they just suck in general
@@04gmcsierra78 I bought a new cable for $11 from tboltusa and it works perfectly fine now. Just needed to rejet the carb, but my piece of shit SSR runs perfectly fine now.
I bought a pz26 carburetor from eBay and I put it on the bike and the bike revs like it has a half stuck throttle even though the throttle is not turned at all,I was thinking maybe it is because I need a longer cable or a spring with more tension in it, either way I have a really nice pit bike that I can't ride because of 1 small issue and it's frustrating but will get it done though 👍
my original carb wont idle. i cleaned it out, put new fuel and a new spark plug. so i tried putting on a new carb(same one u got) and it idles to high. i tried adjusting the throttle screw but it didn’t do anything. any suggestions?
@@ashtonmccoy8609 Hello, on the new carb i just kept messing with the throttle screw. But i also was able to get the old carb to work as well. i started by taking apart the carb completely, cleaning with carb cleaner, replaced the main jet. pretty simple but yet uniquely complicated just take your time. trial and error really. hope this helps! Good Luck!!
Don’t make a tutorial if you obviously don’t know what you’re doing. You don’t even show parts that confused you and would someone else to help them know what you had to do to get it to work. Like removing the throttle slide when switching throttle cable.
what is the 8mm hex bolt length?
i can’t get the throttle cables hooked back up what do i do?
Were you able to get it back on? I can’t get mine to back on correctly. When twisting throttle it’s lose now
what does it do, would it increase the speed ?
How did you take out the cable

Cole TRICKLE mine was stuck as well, I got it loose from boiling it. That should get it out
Travis Vas it’s catching something most definitely

Did the carb not come with a new throttle slide
I can’t get the old carb piece where the needle was off so I can put it in my new carb
Do you have a exact link for the carb for the Ssr200 dirt bike ?
Where is the hose going that comes off the side of the carb
What jet size do you have?
You didn’t have to adjust the idle screw ? I just installed a new carburetor and when I start it’s reving like crazy
How u fix it
@@onkicks2x906 just turn the screw until it reaches a good idle
is there supposed to be a gasket from the head to intake?
What do you do with the 2 lines that are on it?
Well one connects to the gas petcock. the other i believe are for ventilation so i just let them dangle, no issues so far
@@TravisVas thanks I took my carb off and forgot what where that one line went I killed my self trying to figure it out it where that one went

Would it be easier to take the plastic off
What’s the carburetor link
I want to do it by myself but I feel as though I'mma mess everything up
I was able to figure it out with no prior experience. Maybe I got lucky, but it could be worth the risk!
Same
I did on mine
I took mine apart now I don’t know what tubes go to what 😔

That's the over flow pipe
Where did you find that carb at site
I have a 70 cc Baja Motorsports dirt bike and I wanted to know what am I supposed to do with the tube on the bottom of the carburetor?
same did you ever figure it out
It’s a breather tube it lets excess fuel out so it doesn’t flood it self during rough ridibg

Have the same issue now, did you find the solution? From what I read it could be the cable isn’t long enough or the cable is bound somewhere

What size is the carb?
26mm
We’re does that bottom tube that was hanging go?
That bottom tube is for the overflow to prevent your carb from flooding.
What's that long hose hanging at the bottom?
It’s the over flow line
Do have to change throtle cable
No
Hey I’m building my so an ssr May have to ask you a few things
What kinda carb did you get
It looks like a pz19. But could possibly be a pz22

That’s a sign of an air leak somewhere in the intake area

Your fuel filter is on the wrong way round.
I want to replace the caburator on my pit bike how can i know the size does any one know?
You can likely find out in the user manual, or a quick search on google. If not measure the diameter of your current carburetor.
Travis Vas it is 26 mm. Is any 26 mm fine for the pit bike?
