If it can’t float on muskeg and water pulling a couple thousand pounds it won’t beat the Sherp unfortunately. Still a head to head video would be good to watch. If you really did want to go toe to toe with that sherp id get a set of Argo style rubber tracks to go around those dually’s.
I'd like to see that but with a quad and do that with the front wheels and see how it performs, or even do that to the front of the 6x6. Also those trails during the winter must be HEAVEN ❤
That's awesome! Reminds me of the tractors we got to run on a grass farm in Southern Texas, there tandem wheeled and it works great man! The tires won't bog down and rut the grass up it just kinda rolls right over
I want to see that thing go head to head with an Argo with 8x8 with tracks. I have tracks on my Argo and I've never been stuck(knock on wood) that would be the ultimate challenge right there

I bought a 1000 Max 6x6 a few months ago. I'm more interested in the lateral stability the extra wheels would provide. I bet it works great in the snow too. $9k for the track kit is a bit outrageous 😅. How much do the adapters cost? I'd put steel wheels on the inside and use the black stock alloys on the outside. Love the Skegfest videos you've posted, as well! I'm too old for that kind of action, but more interested in the 6x6's snow capabilities. Hopefully, you get something like that posted in N Alberta! You likely have many sleds. I've never gotten into that, and it hardly seems worth getting one in Northeastern Ontario. They're a dime a dozen used, because of our shortening season. Lucky if the full trail systems are open 3 weeks these days.
They are called Clic Duals I think. But I also made my own homemade duals for my other 6x6. I did a video on it called “All The Things The Broke On My CanAm 6x6 And Installing Homemade Duals” hope that helps! We won’t be snow riding until spring now as we are heading south for most of the winter. 😎
Rule of thumb. Everything gets stuck, But the harder it is for something to get stuck means the harder it is to get it unstuck. I had a guy bet me nothing could get his 1000 stuck on a trail we were on. I won without any effort.

I just purchased one and I do ALOT of work with it , have not gone mudding with it but I do anything that a small farm tractor can do - except of couse the PTO stuff - but it replaced my small size compact tractor.
Hey do you think 420 rancher can run 27 × 10 × 12 out and black max with minimal issues or is an 1.5 lug to much? What tires are you running? I have no gear reduction but it's lifted.
Your rancher should be able to run those depending on what kind of mud you ride in. I’m running 26” outlaws. 10” in the front and 12” in the back. 12” rims. She struggles in the clay but otherwise does fine.
@@canadianatvlife Yeah it’s more a work machine. I have flatbed on back for taking materials on hills in Scotland. Very capable machine but I do like the look of that 6x6 with duals. It would be a cheaper to run on smaller jobs.
i see alot of these 6x6 like in junk yards. meaning i see alot of them just set up not using them anymore . i know where like 12 of them are . some of them are nice looking bikes but all have major problems . elec problem seems to kill these for some od reason

Really are you nuts you went overboard with a 4 wheeler just more issuers likes electric dirt bike don’t buy electric dirt or e-bikes they can start on fire when they over heat
if you got caught riding those things out in the woods around here, they would impound everything and send you off to jail until you sign the release of interest and give them the titles. they sell 4 wheelers in a few places but they are just for private property. There are three off road parks in the state to choose from, one is huge, almost 10 acres and that's way more than enough to satisfy the state minimum requirement for multi purpose trails

There must be good fishing on the other side, because I cannot see the point. Mudding and mudding just to cause harm to a good machine doesn't seem practical. Yes I have done some mudding with 4 wheel bikes and 4 wheel trucks, but were were going somewhere for a purpose.
