Having a secret admirer is much more common than you think
One day I decided to do an experiment at school. I am a pretty popular kid at school, and what I did was I acted cool for 1 week. I noticed that people who knew me were avoiding me a lot more than usual. The next week I acted like myself. I’m always kind and respectful to everyone at school and more people saw who I was and they are all my friends. Don’t become a person that shows off or anything like that because people will never like you. Just be yourself and be kind to others and they will always be nice to you as well.
Popularity means shit...this is coming from a guy whose been popular in school for the most part...popularity doesn't feed your family doesnt earn you money...the knowledge and skills you acquire in school does...your success is far more important than your popularity...so it doesn't matter if you act cool or kind to other what matters is that you're willing to act cool with your distractions and be kind to your goals

This was perfect timing for me. I’ve been overthinking this for the past few weeks. There’s been a girl in a couple of my classes who I’ve noticed looking at me from across the room, whether she was with her friends or not. I didn’t know why, I mean I’m not exactly good looking, I don’t talk a lot unless it’s to my friends, and I’m socially awkward. Why of all people is she looking at me?

I did do that in school, but I stopped trying to be like others back when I was a sophomore in highschool, and focused on myself, and people tried to force me into stuff, and I said no. Now I graduated recently, and helped myself improve throughout my last two years of school. Being yourself is the best thing to do. But a serious question we have to ask ourselves is "Deep down, what am I really?" Because that is when you truly start seeing who you are. But it takes time, patience, and reflection.
