What i truly loved about Titanfall 1 is the campaign. Never before have i seen a campaign in game that is not solo, not coop, but literally PvP. One side wins, the other looses and every mission had a different outro based on who won. Whether you lost or won had absolutely no meaning but damn it was still cool to see something new. Truly immersive. WE WANT TITANFALL 3
Titanfall 1 had a campaign mode that was all entirely a multiplayer PvEvP match, each mission had cool setpieces that would happen over the course of said match, and different things would happen depending on what team completes which objective, it was real fun. Titanfall 2 probably decides what happens canonically though.

The reason they can run on the walls is because of the "Jump-kit" or Jet-packs what they have on the hips. They use the thrusters to keep them on the wall. So happy this finally won a poll and would personally love to see a campaign playthrough. It's incredibly good but also fairly short so I replay every few months just for the nostalgia
The comparison between the militia in Titanfall 1 vs 2 is that the militia fleet in 1 was basically made up of up-armored and lightly armed Civilian ships, plus whatever they could steal from the IMC. After the Battle of demeter and the start of 2 the militia are a essentially a superpower that would rival even the first game's IMC
Funny you asked "They're wall running, are they Jedi?"... unless that was a tongue-in-cheek joke and you already knew: this is the same dev studio that made Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor (after releasing Apex Legends). The founding devs also co-founded Infinity Ward, and created the Call of Duty franchise. They were pushed out by Activision, then later started up their new studio (Respawn). Then most of the original CoD devs at Infinity Ward left and got hired by Respawn to work on Titanfall.
I'm not sure if you would believe this, but the Titanfall series is what eventually lead to Apex Legends. Just a little food for thought. Also there is a hilarious parody trailer called Literal Titanfall trailer by Tobuscus which I would highly recommend to watch.
6:15 There are three Titans in the game, each with their own animation when terminating another Titan - one of them does indeed pull the pilot out and squishes them ;)

Titanfall 1 had no story. Those people talked in the start of MP matches but it didn't mean anything. Game fucking ruled though. So good. 2 imo didn't live up, but I wish we got a 3, bit games like apex are cash cows. They don't care they'll milk that till they die.

The multiplayer always felt like a movie the way how cinematic the intros were it was truly amazing to play it

I've always preferred the feel that Titanfall 1 gave compared to Titanfall 2. It felt more gritty.
I loved Titanfall and its multiplayer. I didn't love Titanfall 2 multiplayer, but that was one of the best campaigns I've ever played.
