The entire cab is wider on the Pete. I used the 579s i drove all had poer strips coming from the inverter to cover the passenger side missing power ports. If you use drivers side under bunk storage a lot for tools or stuff you access regularly, you will want to get the cover for the upper part that blocks dust and rain from getting on the bed when you open the door.
I drove peterbuilt day cabs hauling ready mix ,doubles, tank trucks int with box I'm retired and miss driving still kept my CDL zero citations 👍great video
On my Pete, I mounted a power strip using double sided tape to the bunk frame between the mattress and the cabinet and plugged it into the second outlet on the inverter. I plug my tv into the strip. Nice truck!!
Nice truck! Glad that you are happy with what Peterbilt has to offer. The only things I didn't like, was there is no space to put a mini refrigerator in it, still have to bring a cooler so you can have a cold drinks or fresh fruits or dairy products to store in. Other than that, still a nice truck.
I have this same truck and on the passenger side where the bottom cabinet is, my Pete has a fridge and also a 120v outlet next to the tv mount so I assume the options can vary.
Very Nice Truck. You can never go wrong with a Peterbilt. Thanks For The Tour. Awesome Ride!!! Have A Super Nice Memorial Day Weekend Truckers!!! I'm going to dig into some BBQ Ribs Myself. Lol!!!!!!☺
Congrats. I was in a 2019 Pete my short time with your company. Was comfortable, even though we were both over 6ft and 200 lbs. Now you need to install the CB.
The T680 has all the same options available if you spec it when ordering, the only one I'm not sure of is the split bunk up top, Werner doesn't get refrigerators ? That sucks an OTR driver needs that
if i ever go owner op i'm get either get 579 or t680 cummings 13 speed i like ride quality roomy compare to cascadia i do always got the engine light on and little things are constantly going wrong but thats with all modern trucks company driver here
My favorite truck. I always did like Peterbilt. I'm glad they set you up with one and not an international. I can't stand international. Stay safe out there.
I've drove the volvos and cascadias. When I started driving a kenworth I was sold just based on how much smoother and quieter it was. With that said... how quiet is this truck?

👍🏻 Hi Kevin. Great video. I really like the 579's Their a good looking Pete. Hi Tanja. Truck Safe Brother.
I definitely like the Freightliner cascadia only because I can fit a 44 inch fridge inside with 32 inch tv.
you mean backbreaker
I had a freightliner with power in one of the cabinets on passenger side

I like the Peterbilt mirrors but not the dash lights that always seem to be on.
@@blauer2551 Thats with all paccar trucks.
@@WayneKerr69420 So true

I like the setup and adaptations like the folding ladder and inverter position. Do you get to keep this?

They want you to stay in shape and be healthy but they don't provide appliances to help keep you out of the fast/junk food places.
That is a nice truck there Kevin!!! I like it too!! Hopefully it will be even better than Kenny was.
Lot of Nice features. Good for you. 👍👍
Nice peterbilt Kevin, you got some cool features there. I love Pete’s very good trucks.
What a difference from the cab over days. Nice lookin Pete. Good Luck. STAY WELL & SAFE FRANKIE L.I.

Werner doesn’t supply microwaves or refrigerators in their trucks? I’m thinking about applying but those things are necessities.
No. They do not supply those amenities. You can put them in if you like.
Thank you Kevin for this video! This cemented my want to change my freddy to a Petey with Werner. Great video!
Awesome truck Kevin! Congrats, stay safe and keep on truckin
I had 74676 when I was at Werner. ‘19 Pete. 😂
Very nice rig. Hope it holds up for you.
Been waiting on this one!
That bunk door is a game changer 😂😂😂
I’d ask the shop for front window curtains. Looked like you only have the sleeper curtain.
I've drove the volvos and cascadias. When I started driving a kenworth I was sold just based on how much smoother and quieter it was. With that said... how quiet is this truck?
It looks like a whole lot more room. Are you going to put a fridge in? Looks like a better truck.
Wow, is all I can say. Do both the KWs and Pete's drive smooth? Cause my Freight, is bumpy.
Freightliner sucks. They’re suspension is terrible. I’m in one now only because I have no choice. KW and Pete are very good rides.
Nice now all you have to do is put your cb in
Good morning, I didn't see a microwave or fridge.
Are u going to get another kenworth .from 🇬🇧
I like the 1976 peterbite
Look good
It seems you've found all the cool features. Now I know I don't want a KW.
Why you got two tabet? What on the Passing the size
Cummins or Pacaar motor?
Can't go wrong with a Pete.
Everyone has to go to jbg travels and his short, hey Larry can you fix this. I know cross promotional but this is something you cannot make up.
👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸
Name it Paula Peterbilt.
LOL. That is not a good looking truck
