Today, we're diving deeper into TickTick, one of the most robust organization tools out there. I’ve been using TickTick for months now, and it’s an amazing task manager if you’re all about simplicity (and it's also super affordable!). However, although it seems simple, TickTick is actually packed in well-hidden features. Let's explore some not-so-obvious tools and shortcuts that many users overlook.

TickTick is a fantastic all-rounder for tasks and calendar is super! 👌
It really is!❤️
Hello, Mariana! Despite Ticktick is a wonderful tool for productivity, there is no much content about it. I'm really happy to see you making some videos that show us how to use it better.
Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Mexico.
I’m glad you are enjoying TickTick! 💪
While I patiently wait for Akiflow to have their iOS app ready (🤞) let's explore some hidden features in TickTick, a solid, affordable and simple task manager I've been using for months now, and which I love!
Will you not use TickTick in the long term?
will you change from ticktick to akiflow?
Probably. I use Notion A LOT (all of my projects related to work + business are managed there) so being able to import things over to Akiflow, plus importing emails from several email accounts (personal, business, work, etc.) is incredibly useful. However, I think this is VERY specific to my workflow (managing several business areas + working a full time job at the same time). Other than that, I think TickTick is fantastic
Yay! I was so hoping you would do this video! You have totally got me hooked on ticktick thank you so much!🎉❤
I'm so glad!
Isso Mariana! A palavra do TickTick tem que ser espalhada! Já uso por 3 anos, não existe app de organização melhor!
Uma aplicação simples e com imensas ferramentas 👌
I agree so much!! Best app for life organisation yet.
Sem dúvidas o melhor app de produtividade! Tem que ser mais divulgado!
I have been using TickTick for over three years now, surprisingly, a lot of features I only got to know after watching your video! I usually talk 2x your speed, thus loved your summary!
Thank you for being to the point, and covering all aspects!
You're welcome! 🙌
I've never clicked on a video so fast in my life! 😍😍😍 tjank you for thissss!!!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Comecei a usar e estou gostando bastante!
HI. Thank you for sharing . Can I kindly ask how do you sync your account to all devices? My iphone and ipad syncs well but it does not sync on the web or my mac app...
Needed video ❤❤
Thanks for the great video. I struggle with viewing and working with tasks. Demos always show 3 or 4 tasks at a time vs reality which may have 30-40 tasks. It gets top heavy from all the tasks and difficult to work with. Headers get lost because they are the similar font size so it's hard to glance to see tasks. Also there is too much space between tasks so difficult to see tasks. Any ideas???
Thanks! I need this🌼
🫶
Thank you Mariana!
❤️
great video thanks, I heard tick tick from you and it is perfect fit for my personal use
Happy to help!
Amei as dicas!
Is it possible to set a notification for one task both based on the position and the time as well as an insurance, when the task can be completed at the latest, if I do not arrive in the area? So the notification would pop up depending on what happened sooner, location or the time?
Great informative video, thank you!
You're welcome 😊
I love the video, and thank you
Thank you ❤️
The first Tipp is very very usefull thank you!
❤️
The main problem with ticktock is the ugly layout. Hope they update it
Parabéns pelos seus conteúdos TickTick Mariana!
Muito obrigada!
Do you always group the today tasks by list?
Yes! I usually time batch so I like to see my tasks grouped like that
Hello, thank you for the video. Unfortunately, my Ticktick looks different than your Ticktick and I really like yours better! In the beginning, when you were showing the syncing with Google calendar and you opened a window, you have all the icons at the top of the window. I do not have that at all and not sure why? Are there different Ticktick layouts or is there a way I can make mine like your layout?
Are you perhaps using the web browser version?
I got it working like yours and have no idea what I did? I will check it out to see if using the browser way or desktop makes a difference. Thank you for your video.@@mariana-vieira
I like TickTick. it's fairly simple. i have the paid version but really didnt need it. My only challenge is the Sync with calendars. For some strange reason it just didnt click with me so i deleted the sync. other than that i love it.
How to Use Subtask and Checklist I am a bit confused in both?
eu amo o ticktick, conheci graças a você!
Que bom! Espero que seja muito útil :)
How is the refresh rate from ticktick to Google Cal?
Not the best, but good enough!
How to make sure that a completed subtask remains in the list with specific subtasks, and does not shift down to the general list of completed tasks?
As a student and new to productivity hacks, I find it all a bit confusing. I hope to understand it well 🙂
Thanks for the useful video.
Are you worried about the security of your data? The Chinese roots of the application, nothing is known about the development team and the insufficiently open development of the application itself - this personally worries me greatly.
Whatever one may say, some private data still ends up in the problem book and I would not like more transparency and openness on the part of the developers
I'll be super honest here - while I love TickTick and think it's a great and simple-to-use app, I'm just using it while I wait for Akiflow to have their iOS app ready (Akiflow is superior in many ways and can integrate Notion and other apps, but not having a iOS version available is a deal-breaker for me right now). I've always used TickTick as a temporary solution, so I was never really concerned about data security, but I see your point!
Are you perhaps confusing TickTick, which is an American based company, with TikTok, the Chinese based social media app?
@@MiniAquiel Yes, TickTick is registered in USA but it also an international version of dida365. You can find interview of SEO in keep productive channel and it's clear that Chinese roots has value.
I also two weeks ago ask their support about our data and they ignore my question but answered in many others. So, this question is opened for me.
Because US companies are somehow safer to store your data with?
@@kayglifts Of course not. Because China is now actively cooperating with Russia and both countries are known for their policies and hacker attacks. For me, if I have to choose who to give my personal data to, I would prefer the USA to any other totalitarian country.
Great video! Though couldn't quite follow "05:12 - Summary of Tasks Recently Completed". Can you please explain it in more detail?
work flow tips ,
😊
What about data safety and privacy ?
1 minute into this video I'm thinking "Sweet I gotta go add the task sync to my google calendar!" even though you said you have to do it through the browser I go to check the desktop app and notice there's a pending update which adds that menu directly to the TickTick desktop app.
Great! 💪
This app is also better on mobile for reminders.
The mobile version is fantastic 👌
Thanks for the video. Unfortunately I found it rather difficult to keep up with you. I'm old. Maybe talk a bit slower and use a cursor with a coloured ring around it ? I learnt a lot but took a lot of rewinding !
Sorry 🙈 I'll try to make it clearer next time!
Try changing playback speed in settings! I personally 2x every video lol
Doh ! Excellent idea. Didn't realise one could and , yet, still get the audio. X 0.75 speed made all the difference needed for me. Thank you @@gradientO
I also found it slightly difficult to follow her.
I remember, when it all started, apps were intuitive and easy to use and learn. Now you need 100 videos and a lot of practice to understand what's going on in kind of simple task app like tick tick. Everything is really unintuitive on apps front, these days. we need another Steve Jobs to change this.
Yes, it can be quite overwhelming!
I cant use it as a habits tracker
I am sure that the "Summary of Tasks Completed" is something useful, but it is really not clear what you are talking about. In fact, you could probably do individual videos on several of these topics with a bit more depth. I know I would watch them all!
Your video just explains the features in it plainly however it doesn’t really convince the user to move to It and you don’t mention why you use it. I have always wanted to move to it however once I decided to pay for it and I did, I found few things: Support doesn’t reply back at all, iPad support for calendar and the whole app is missing, weekend day cannot be changed which causes recurring tasks not to work for me or anyone whos day off is not Sat,Sun. Left it…
The point of this video is not convincing you to move to TickTick! Ticktick is a good task manager overall (I explain in an earlier video why I decided to use TickTick this year) but there are great systems out there. If you have the budget, I highly recommend Akiflow for a good calendar + task manager app. Google calendar is always a good free option, too!
@@mariana-vieira I rewatched your video now again on ticktik :) (Do you use it on iPad by the way and have you tried other apps?). Checked akiflow, it seems expensive compared to others for same features. I am currently using Todoist and even thinking of apple reminders. But calendar integration is essential for me. Hope Todoist gets it soon.
I use it on my desktop, laptop and iPhone! Yes, Akiflow is more expensive. I love Todoist but not having an integrated calendar is a complete deal breaker for me!
Ué vc é brasileira? Kkkk
Portuguesa 😊
Why do videos go so FAST? I'm a Slow Learner. Does any1 know of a easier one I could Learn from?
I was looking for a video to understand how to use a Ticktick and this video is not it. It left me even more confused. And I think some of the things you talked about are not in the free version. I watched till the end sadly and I couldn't even do 1 of the 10 things you mentioned. 👎🏽
