Nice rhythm.I go over it with a roller afterwards to give the surface a nice texture and evenness. If you use short spray bursts you will save on the volume of paint you use.
It amazes me how many times I see this argument … this is prob the most talked about issue between painters . Some say back rolling defeats the purpose of spraying , a lot say you have to back roll for touch up paint to match . Once the paint leave the gun the viscosity changes leaving a different color so when you try and touch up with a brush or roller you get a different color . I always buy cheap white foam rollers ( if I spray ) and leave them with the home owners with all the touch up paint and I make sure I spray the touch up paint in a can so it’s Been atomized and will match the wall color . I’ve gone back 3 years later to a job I sprayed and used the paint I sprayed in a can for touch ups . Never back rolled and the paint matched perfect . I will say for very critical lighting I would back roll just to be safe but that’s the only time I’m back rolling …… and only the walls with critical lighting or that get alot of natural light ….
Actually in the amount of time it takes yo mask off a room for spray, i would already be halfway done cutting in all without the mess. People have different ways of painting i guess but, idk why you would paint the walls before the ceiling.
Takes about an hour to do that room 1 coat. And probably wouldn't have got overspray on the window or thru the bedroom door. People don't typically spray any walls in furnished homes for a reason. Git guud
A real painter can paint the whole room in like 20 minutes, ceiling included. There are 18' rollers🤷🏻♂️ it probably took him an hour to cover everything so yea 😬

this guy can’t paint for shit lmao who the fuck does vertical passes and he’s got the mad banana stroke going on lmao that shit gonna be uneven as fuck
@@BigFlexy007 if you’re spraying the ceilings you would have to spray the walls first. Then plastic mask the walls and spray then the ceiling. Masking a ceiling takes twice as long as masking the walls off.
Am trying to be a Painter and I even have a sprayer just like yours. If only you invite me to see how you do it from preparations till when the whole work is finished, you will have done me so so good.
Spray finish is not good. Have someone back roll behind you. Otherwise any repairs you need after the spraying will not match. Need roller texture. Also don’t arch your arm hand. This creates uneven thickness in your coat. Stay 90 degrees at all times. No arching at top and bottom.
You mean turned a 45 min job into a 6 hour job? how long you think it takes to tape all that shit up? LOL. Exterior/Interior and Fine Finish painted here btw. A room that small you can roll that out so fast.
I feel like everything about this video is wrong. the way your spraying. lazy prep work, your painting the walls first instead of the ceiling, your spraying the walls period which makes no sense when you should roll them anyways regardless if you spray. for a quick apartment turn from an apartment maintenance man this might pass for someone.
And your point is …. We’ve all seen a guy paint a room. What is he using? Why does he like it? Does the paint have to be thinned? Do you need to purchase a separate compressor? Pretty useless video.
You can do the trim as the same color if you like, doesn't have to be different. it may also be easier to hit the wall then do the trim. I'm more curious about the ceiling he kept hitting. Typically they are flat in sheen and the walls are satin/eg-shel.
Bruh, take off the outlet trim, it’s literally one or two screws. Back roll after you spray so the walls can be touched up I the future and for the love of god wear boots. All leather uppers that go above the ankle is osha standard.
convenient not fun... painting by hand makes time to contemplate how it is gonna be... thats decisionthinkover time...the most important few moments to ajust your dicision.
So, how do you paint the ceiling? When you paint a ceiling, it's always done first due to overspray. How do you manage avoiding that? I've been intrigued by spray painting (I am a painter by trade) but know no one who does it. And do you need a second coat? Cheers.
Just started spraying myself the last year , you can get shields but i also just mask and paper off the edge of ceiling to he sure , pain in the arse when you forst start but you soon get good at masking up quickly amd its much less laborious than rolling
Hi Kathy. I have sprayed a few times. You tube videos are very helpful. I think sometimes they spray and backfill the walls, then tape and plastic the walls off and do the ceiling. I usually spray and backroll the primer and spray and backroll the ceiling. Then just paint the walls and normal.
I'd still be struggling to open the paint tin LOL

You’re overcomplicating it. A sprayer is just fine and roller texture will repair as long as you spray enough, white paint is the easiest.

@@theuser9026i mean he’s right about the arching but if you need to backroll then you shouldn’t be spraying others people things

Wonder what color the ceiling is going to be

✔️What size compressor do you use and what type of paint spart nozzle ! Good job 👌
airless
Thats alot of uneven spraying. Im curious to see how you do the ceiling. The ceiling should have been done first.

And to think I wasted most of my life painting with brushes and rollers smh

Where may I get this kind of machine

Is there a link to buy the sprayer
Well he definitely aint on day rate
Why he paints the paper on that covers the wall. Clearly a super waste of material. THIS GUY IS THE WORST WORKER.
So satisfying
Why are you hitting the ceiling ? Ceiling is painted first ( work your way down) or at least use a shield 🤷🏼♂️
He stops but we don't get to see the colored walls.
You know there is a trigger on that gun right? In your next video show all the runs in your direction changes.
Anyone know what colour paint he using as I'm looking for nice warm cream with no yellow
Are you running a graco?

Where are you based please?

Do these paint sprayers leave streaks or anything? As in does it cover well without old color showing through in certain lights?
What brand is the spray gun
Graco 490, or a tittan 440?

Don’t you guys ever back roll?
All that spray ?
Not bad but shorter bursts are better , less overspray and less product used also keep wrist straight at 90 to wall or coverage is not consistent
Nope. Short bursts result in uneven distribution of the material, heavier at the star and stop points.
Hes got this covered....properly.

Does the electric ones work or only the air compressor?
