Not really. You could fit a light layer like a sweatshirt in there, but it would be difficult to access while wearing the Poco. A bigger concern is getting the stand back out before setting the child down in the carrier.
The Poco Plus will give you a bit more storage space than the standard Poco. The Premium will give you the most overall storage with the added accessory of a removable day pack. Thanks for watching!
This is the worst hip belt design ever. Took it out once and it was a painful experience. No one in the family wants to wear it because the hip belt is extremely thin and hard digging into the hips. Read the reviews and you’ll see that I’m not the only one, I thought they would’ve fixed this by now but i guess not. Our first Osprey product and now probably our last, our old raggedy Dueter Kid Comfort II is more comfortable than this. This was such a waste of money and would not recommend this to anyone.
I see it like this... With proper adjustments major weight of "luggage" is put on your hips and let the shoulders basically rest. I have the 80L backpack from Haglofs which has quite similar hip belt, i.e. stiff and thin. Actually I prefer this type of hip belt over the soft and thick. I think all depends on how your body is shaped. In other words, every person is different.

Is there any storage left in the bottom compartment when the aluminium stand is folded towards parents back?

does the removable day pack feature have the ability to attach to the shoulder straps and sit on the wearers chest?
The day pack has normal backpack straps. It is small could fit a young child.
