- Osprey Poco Plus Child Carrier Review (100s of Miles Later)
This pack was a GAME CHANGER for our family. It allows us to easily continue adventuring, even with the littles. Here's an REALLY in-depth look at all it has to offer.

Very helpful, thanks
I bought this and was quite confused on a few things. Definitely the most detailed review I found. Exactly what I was looking for, thank you.
I'm so glad it helped. Happy hiking!
If you haven't already, feel free to Subscribe if you'd like to help me out, too :)
Great review. We have it, I love it, my son loves it too. Sadly, when my wife tries to put it on XS it slides back up, and makes it uncomfortable for her to wear it. Otherwise great products!
Thanks! Hmm that's strange, we haven't had any slipping issues. We just got a Deuter Kid Comfort for my wife to experiment with because it's a bit lighter and has a smaller frame for her build, and so far she's been loving it.
Great review thanks! It's a shame I can't find one anywhere in Canada!! :(((
Really?! What a bummer, I thought Osprey had better availability than that.
@@MovementTrainingCo They're are some suppliers on paper, but can't get any stock.
I assume this is widespread.
Thank you! Do you know if I can take it on the plane as a carry on?
You're welcome! I haven't personally flown with it, we usually drive or leave it behind. It might be a little too long, even when collapsed because of the frame. I'd check your specific airline's requirements and go from there.
@@MovementTrainingCo thank you for your reply
how does it pack for travel and flight trips
Because of the kickstand and frame, it doesn't fold as flat as I'd like for flights. It end up being a short, wide triangle approximately 2''side, 7'' peak, 2'' side. It'll take up a good amount of a large suit case, but may be able to be an overhead carry on depending on the airline.
Unless I was planning on doing a lot of hiking or its an actual backpacking trip, I'd personally leave it at home.
How do you clean it?
The drool guard on the front comes off and you can throw it in the washing machine, which is amazing. For the rest of the pack I just use a wet washcloth like any regular backpack. The fabric seat can be a little tricky so we use Miss Mouth's Messy Eater Stain Treater Spray and it works like magic.
