My family would go camping and my dad would always find the local cbs station so we could listen to this radio show as we went to sleep. At the time I had always thought they were old classic shows. Well, now they are, thanks for the memories!

We always fall to sleep to them 😆the problem is you always think you’ve listened to them but in fact you’ve only heard the beginning 👍

And it's not because they're not entertaining or enthralling enough. I'm usually riveted, until I nod off that is.😴 They just seem to have that effect on a lot of people and it sometimes takes me a few night's to finish one episode! I'm from England so I'm just discovering them now and I'm almost 50! I'm quite envious that so many people grew up with these radio shows and have the fondest of childhood memories ~✌🏼📻❤

I lived on Kauai in the 70's, and I'd drive to a cliff over looking the ocean on the east side of the island to catch a CBS station from SF or LA on my transistor radio - thousands of miles away - just to listen to the programs.

That one was easier than most to predict. Good story regardless...

A story of the unsolved true destination of that single cup of coffee ?
Or a story of a saxophone player that was depressed but was pushed
off the train . I won't tell,, I guess you'll have to listen to it to find out !
[ when you decide to listen to it, -- everyone enjoying story ]
