I have little interest in modern TV anymore and absolutely love these. Thanks so much for uploading them.
I’m on the younger side but I grew up with a deep appreciation for old time radio. These are so great.
Suddenly I’m back in Okinawa 1977, listening to these shows on Armed Forces Radio. Brings back so many memories. So glad I rediscovered these. Listen to them every night.
Awesome
Than you for your service, sir.
God BLESS you.
Thank you for your service 🇺🇸
Thank you for your service sir.
Yeah I was only 7 years old when I would listen to this on my little red transistor radio..I know they are older than me but I loved falling to sleep listening to it..that was back in 1977 really wish I could go back in those good times..ty chilly for fond memories.
I love my little transistor radio when i was a kid, it was awesome ! It got great reception and carried with me everywhere
Who can believe we went from the walkman and rotory phones to the cellphones we all carry around
You took the words right out of my mouth. 😎
I would listen to CBS Mystery Theater on Armed Forces Radio (AFN) when I was in the service. that was 1976 and finding it on utube brings back so many memoreys.
Hopefully those are good memories.
they were,i was a teenager and overseas.
Thank you for your service, sir.

I was born 78, first time I’ve heard of this was couple years ago, amazing stories, thank you for these wonderful mind pictures.
Listening to this brings me great memories of being with my sisters in our room late at night and just being scared out of our minds!!!
Every night I listen to one or two before I go to sleep, cozy up in bed and enjoy!
Same here 😁
I love cbs radio mystery theatre brings back some good memories as a teenager i especially like the ones with the commercials but i listen to them all with or without the commercials
I started listening to this show back in the 60s when I was a kid. I love this show. I wish old time radio would come back.
Loved these in the 70s and 80s and still do during pandemic 2020. June Oakland CA
These are great, I loved listening to them at night at my families summer home. We would sit in the living room by the wood burning stove at night getting scared from these shows, it was great and I am glad I found them once more. I wish I could download them on to my cell phone. I would listen to them all of the time.

You can. There's an app called Old Time Radio Player. Go to the Mystery tab and they're all there. Ever episode
Or you could download the RUclips app & listen that way.
Those thrilling days of Yesteryear. When American radio Didn't suck.
When entertainment didn’t suck....
Thank you so much for your work bringing these beautiful old shows to life again. It’s a really good quality recording.
growing up in Saint Louis Mo.as a young boy we would gather around my mother's vox sterio record radio counsel and listen to the radio mystery theater and it was a joy to have this pleasure back in the day and now I can still relive the joy through you tube. it's still the best, back then I was 8yrs old now I'm 56yrs old.
Frank Riley how lovely 🙌🙌merry Christmas ⛄🎑🐧❄
These are so much fun. They never get old. 🥃👍
I've listened to these since they first aired 40 years ago and they still hold-up. They take me home.
+Crystal Cathedral Wow , me too. I didn't think I would ever hear this stuff again!
Crystal Cathedral me too !! I love them still !!!
Crystal Cathedral well said, my friend !! 😸💙
Yes they do!!!! Except for all of the millennials constantly complaining about sound quality. They expect everything they listen to the have the digital remastering of a band who has millions of dollars at their disposal to hav e sound technicians and spend a million dollars recording each episode as if it were a Rolling Stones song or something.
I agree - gad it popped up on my RUclips 💛
Love these shows. Thanks for bringing them back
These radio shows are really cool to listen to!!!
I discovered CBSMT in 1974 at the age of 12. I listene to them from junior through to my college years in the 1980s.
This is a creepy episode and very interesting I never grow tired of watching so many of these great plays over and over Thanks!!
On a dark rainy night with lightning and thunder.....pull up a chair to the radio......and enjoy !

You're welcome!
@@ChillySunshine Chilly. Could you possibly put a best of Larry Haines compilation together? I saw a Fred Gwynne compilation and thought there should be one for Larry who I think was magnificent. Thanks for all youve done keeping these memories alive. 😎
What a fabulous stretch of memory lane roving!
A Blast from the past!! Far Out!!
Oh my goodness, what a twist! My jaw actually dropped open. Thanks for uploading!
+Autumn Matthew
You're welcome.
Autumn Matthew hi. You listed to a mystery theatre show called “the waiting room.” You made the comment “what a twist”. Do you know the reason the birds attacked the Carsons and not the guest? I’ve listed to it twice and I guess I am missing something.
I love it perfect awesome I'm wordlesss how great story and podcast it is I'm very glad I've found this out coz it's better than a lot movies currents

.......... until next time........ Pleasant....... Dreams?!?!?!?!?
I love these classic radio horror stories! You might be interested in this NEW one, “The Gables” and two other stories listed under “Claude Chabot Presents” right here on YT. Just follow the link here and enjoy! ruclips.net/video/Ot1sF7fkhMw/видео.html--Claud.
This is awesome thanks so much for the upload!!
I think listening to these makes one smarter because we have to draw on our other senses
you mean imagination im5 sure. only one sense in play here
Most definitely. With everything being so visually in our faces, programs like this kick start our imaginations the way a well-written book can pull us in.
i want to fuck this lady for such a pertinent insight and yes so right
Agree.
true grew up with this love it
Extremely chilling and Alfred Hitchcock like!

Good creepy tale.

Sounds fun...better then waiting for five hours to get called to see your doctor
Crows are very intelligent birds....able to solve three step problems
+Mary Sullins
I think most birds are a lot smarter and tougher than many people realize.
+Mary Sullins birds dont really want to fly- if there is never any danger they devolve.. ...lol
If Homer Simpson's word can be relied upon, a group of crows is called a MURDER. How fitting in this case.
Mary Sullins ,, yes my little Ravin's a little problem solver
Ah Bert Thomas, a splendid American name, it makes it much easier. he says in a strong German accent.
Interesting radio experiment in the 1970's, when it seemed tv was king.
1399 episodes and almost 9 years, not a bad run.
+ChillySunshine Is it possible to buy this?
FreE994 MaN542 ~ You can find CDs on eBay to buy and you can also download them here- archive.org/details/cbs_radio_mystery_theater

Sounds like the say "and then I shot a kid for new TV" >Predatore also has this cannon on the shoulder The Purple Tiamat Akkadian Guard annihilated Hitler from existence "Janies Last I.O.U. Indeed Janie is that blonde girl that touched my dart-shuriken for 1 second and she look deep into my eyes and gave me a fierce look that day I also practice being on target What I would do without Ino
They were reformed evil doers 🎉
I will continue in the story Uno momento someone might wonder where the Kannon come from I just swiped that like should I ask may I have one bullet The Purple Tiamat Akkadian Guard annihilated Hitler from existence 03/12/?
🙋👍👊😎💚💜💙👌

Uhm... I can't enjoy this story. The idea of a human personality downloaded into a corvid brain is colliding with everything I know about physics, and the even more fanciful idea that somehow Hitler's 6-foot body at around 200 pounds was shrunk down into a 1.5 pound crow is making my head hurt.
