    Great video , love all the detail. I'm mounting on my p365 axg legion in a few minutes. Thank you and keep up the great work.

    Looks good. Like the side loaded battery but the integrated rear sight is pointless (unless u have an original P365).

    the best thing about that optic is how low the integrated rear sites are so you can utilize your stock front iron site. I really want to see this mounted on a stock p365 slide.

    I have one of these optics on the way to my house and I make custom holsters, I figure I will have a magnetec-compatible option for my gun within a week or two. If all goes well, it should be available after testing by EDCing.

    Had mine for alittle more then a week, love the glass tbh it compares to a rmrcc … comparing a non enclosed optic to an enclosed optic especially when sig said they have a enclosed version coming doesn’t make much sense. With that being said glass is really nice, battery life is half of holosun optics. So far seems like a tank but we will see how it holds up overtime

    • @galenclaybrooks601
      @galenclaybrooks601 Год назад +1

      As far as comparison compare them to rmr’s and rmrcc’s … doesn’t have the reputation obviously but that should be the comparison standard for these

    My thoughts are that if it came in a 6 moa dot I'd buy it right away. 2 moa is for target shooting and with the huge circle it's distracting to me and I'm not able to remain target focused as well.

    • @chadillac95
      @chadillac95 6 месяцев назад

      32 MOA circle mostly helps you find the smaller dot. 6 MOA is great. All comes down to personal preference really

    Did you consider the closed emitter Holosun EPS Carry, or is that what you referred to at the beginning? Thanks!

    You don't need an extra extension for that Fix It Stick. Look at your T-Handle wrench, you can remove that extension. Push the All in One directly onto the T-handle. Then put the extension into the All in One. That's the beauty of the ratcheting Fix It Sticks T-handle. Very modular.
    24 in-lb is what the manual states, but it's a bit too much torque for the stainless threads on the slide itself. M3-0.5 thread pitch is generally 9-11 in-lb for stainless. The screws themselves can handle more but remember the slide isn't the same alloy steel.

    The Romeo X looks so much better than the Romeo 0 and 'Pro' variant. I really wish it was an enclosed emetter for that price. I'm currently using an EPS Carry, MRS green- which is another disappointment... I prefer green illumination when available; again in a price vs features consideration its rather poor that green isn't an option. The physical design is appealing though. I like the digi-frag grip module (although it shoud be 'tan' not green LOL) Speaking of tan, thanks for finally offering the alloy baseplates in a good color that works with both Sig's Cotote Tan and Wilson Combat's 'tan'(FDE) color. It splits the difference nicely between the two.
    Good video, Thx.

      I have the Romeo X and yes so much better the 0 and the Elite that I also have. Question: I have a EPS MRS Green on the way and your comment made me go "hmmm". What was a disappointing about the EPS MRS-Gr?

    Hmmm Eps carry, or this? Well on my personal situation i run the old XL slide that loses the rear sights. For me having this optic with the fiber optic integrated would be a plus over the EPS as i would 100% be able to shoot factory irons if the dot fails. I really like how it looks visually over the EPS as well... price wise? Eeeek.. i dunno

    Hey. Does. This fit a holosun EPS Carry footprint ? (Holosun k )

    • @kobudo
      @kobudo Год назад

      The compact is RMSc footprint. If your slide is cut for a Holosun K footprint it should work fine since the Holosun shortens the front lugs a bit and ditches the rear lugs entirely.

    Does the FDEZ slide co-witness with my stock (macro-x comp) iron sights? The OEM sig slide is cut very low so you get a full 1/3 cowitness. i would like to keep this with my next aftermarket slide. anyone's thoughts welcome.

    not made in china (made in Oregon) parts are global sourced, mainly US and Japan.. and in order to qual, the optic and company must source from US and ally nations only and be made in the US.. you should do a bit more research before making a video.. while I will continue watching the video and appreciate you taking the time, there are several inaccuracies - two civ variant X and Xc.. open emitter by design. m17 closed emitter by design.. nothing extra, no rumors, just misinformation. battery has to do with availability, commonality, and if you notice even that battery is ally nation sourced company. wow I'm surprised at how high the torque set is. but that's actually a good thing, being able to torque it down more means in common sense thought process stronger tighter connection... engineering thought process that doesn't necessarily equal true. but it is better to be able to torque it to 24 instead for example 12. good tips and reminders. should make your 25 cent quarter profit off associate sales in amazon if you link the ratchet set lol. not sure I'd get it after seeing it doesn' work for this application, do you think getting longer bits would be a good solution? what are your thoughts on using an extension with torque wrenches/drivers?? I believe the cardboard edge of the battery pack itself can be used to open the battery compartment. good tips man... drinkin my coffee, waking up. it's now 05 appreciate the video. lol you don't need enclosed for ccw, but hey some if it makes you feel better. for a battle or fullsize.. yea enclosed. some people let bias or view points bleed over, but there are differences between ccw, battle, and comp... even duty... some people don't differentiate between duty and battle.. big difference, fact not opinion. police think of everyone else as civilian.. half have never served, half that have, don't even have their CAB. and half of those do not know multiple deplymnts in several countries in ongoing engagements. but all can agree that have been in the shi7 know it's a very different situation when platoon size element is bearing down on your position high on kot completely unphased by the holes you just put through them and ripping their AKs all over your position is entirely different from policing the streets. you don't need an enclosed optic for ccw, you don't even need an optic. on a sidearm as part of your kit, yes. you want an enclosed optic - because when that crazed fanatic is running up on you and you have to literally pull a john wick transition from your rifle to your side arm and all the dirt and mud and shi! you just smashed into the ground on your side as you stand up you need to know you that thing will work. I'm sry but your day to day now.. wake up, have a coffee, get in the car, drive somewhere, get in the car, go home.. get what I mean.. if it makes you feel better to have an enclosed emitter on your ccw.. OK, do you. I won't judge. I'm just happy I have someone else armed near me in this crazy as world.

  • @copper178

    Too expensive is what I think of it, especially when compared against the Holosun eps carry. The eps carry is enclosed and with the green dot is 344, whereas the Romeo X is 399.
    Even the multi reticle eps carry is priced about the same as this Romeo X compact, so being that it’s an open emitter, the Romeo loses.

      closed emitter pistol red dots isn't the end all be all. There's way too many examples of them not even working and fogging up. It's a trend. Do you really need a "duty" closed emitter mailbox red dot for edc when you're dot is in your pants under a shirt away from "the elements" ? no not really. But its a trend now.
