There's definitely a lot of folding but probably a little less than this makes it seem since there are some other hands sprinkled in throughout a session that just aren't quite interesting enough to make the vlog.
5:05 What do you do if 1) MP jams on your 3 bet and other player folds? 2) MP folds and other player jams? 3) MP jams and other player calls? I think it’s fold fold fold? 1) MP jamming over the 3 bet is a little fishy since chasing out other player but at that point if I have overpair I think I prefer to play heads up from there. We’d be getting a good price, so curious to hear thoughts. 2) This is the one I’m most unsure about. I think I’m up against straight draw w back door flush draw, a better Jack, or a slow played set. I’m effectively dead against two of the hands and super vulnerable to the draw so I think I’m folding. 3) getting an amazing price on a call but we’re way behind 100% of the time.

This is an S tier resolution. Seconded!
Hey Brad (loving your journey and your work recently) you're becoming my poker alter ego! I haven't got a home game crew where I live now -sad face emoji- and watching you makes me feel like Im there (except you actually think about the hands you play - slap forehead emoji-). I learn a lot - love your honesty - its not all 'beers and skittles' as we say, there are tough times which you share as well. I appreciate that more. Im going to follow you all the way to your WSOP main event win. Churrr
I don't understand what happened with the 1st hand, 'AK.' How was the dealer "favoring the other player," rather than chopping the pot?
Love that time stamp!! Thats genius!!! It does give the viewers the real time feel of how things happen in real time. Congrats on the W. See you real soon. Rock On!!!
Its so crazy how you had pocket 8s while the man on the tv did too?!? What a coincidence
like 1 in 220 x 220 . lol
Love the time stamp! Something you dont see much other vloggers do, and it makes us feel more in the ride and engaged with you. Just turned 21 a few days ago so excited to finally be able to play in a casino, hopefully I dont throw my how college savings away.
I felt the pit in my stomach that you probably felt when the dealer exposed your hand. You handled that too well, i woulda tilted lol
Brad, the time stamp is the best addition yet to your video poker genre. Due to time constrictions, many times it looks like players are getting playable hands every ten minutes. It’s important that people understand it can be a GRIND. Thanks for the video!
Good job Brad. Keep up the good work… hope to hit the felt with you one day dude…
I don't even play poker but I really enjoy these vlogs - great addition with the time stamp too!
I hate seeing the amount in the title, that's one of the reasons I don't watch some of the other youtubers. It's like posting who dies in a movie in the title.
You motivated me to start playing cash games again, will be on the $2/5 bestbet live stream after holidays & also thinking of making a yt channel dedicated to poker & jacksonville area happenings. I have followed u since u had under 1k subs & have been amazed at your dedication and all you do for poker community. I dont know how to edit, have a regular android phone and have never made a video. What are the first 3 most important things I can get to start a channel (camera, drone..etc) Thank You so much Brad!
You add “must see” to the title of your video. ALL of your videos are “must see”.
Love you videos bro. Glad you added the 10 j suited with the dealer being involved. I honestly reckon he was clueless that you had pocket 8's
Time stamp is a great addition. Really shows how far apart big/playable hands can be when playing live poker
Love the clock in the top right. Such a simple but great addition.
Time stamp is definitely a great addition. I have been watching your blog for about 1.5 yrs and enjoy seeing your progression and improvement. Plus, I am much better at renovating homes than poker, so I root for you to win!
20:18 "sometimes it's tough to battle back from 1500" yeah, I was down about 1200 yesterday in 1/2 NL and after hours and hours of working at it, I finally was up about 500 when I cashed. It's mentally exhausting 😂 but lots of fun too
That a kid. Great comeback. Staying patient and sticking to the plan pays off big time. Thanks for another great vlog!!!
Brad, love your commentary. I have always wondered about the time between each play on your videos. I really like the time line.
Love the time in the corner. If this doesn't pan out for you, you have a great tv commentator career ahead of you.
Easily the best cash game poker channel on RUclips. Time stamp helps out a lot. Shows how few hands you’re playing. Keep it up!
Hi Brad Is there any chance you can paste into a reply here a PROFORMA of your note taking for a hand at the poker tables. For your blogs . Like what you write down and include and if you use any shorthand or anything . All advice is much appreciated
The time stamp is a smart addition that makes the experience better. Good thinking.
Brads channel is blowing up and I’m totally here for it. A quarter million views in under 24 hours 👏🏼
Brad do you have a video somewhere explaining what all of the poker terminology you use means? If not I’d be interested to see one as I’m a newbie. Loving the vids
He took himself to value town all by himself. Didn’t even carpool. Hahaha
Love your commentary brother
Why did the dealer give back the all in player $4?? 20:20
I was wondering the same thing lol
@@Jldubyaa I’m glad I’m not the only one! I felt like I was missing something but Brad definitely has him covered, those chips were in play, so why would he get them back?? I think the casino owes you $4 Brad lol
The timestamps are great. Gives the viewer more of an idea of how a session might evolve over time.
Awesome video, and am happy you explain how long you go on a dry spell until you get a playable hand. Other channels don't do that.
Been watching for a few years now. Great content and analysis as always. The addition of the time stamp was great and would love for it to continue!
Thanks for the time stamp puts things in better perspective for me. I don't play big games , but love to play. Keep it please
Love the time stamp. It's awesome to show how much time can go by in between great hands. Please keep it.
I like the comments! Very cool you added it. Helps us follow you on your wild journey. Love the effort you put into your videos!
time stamp's great. As are the vlogs overall, Brad. Awesome being here!
The timestamp is a game changer in vlog poker world. It really adds context to the story you are telling. Once again you are the innovator.
The time stamp helps me because I get impatient at the table and have a hard time not gambling with bad hands when I don't get to play for 20 or 30 minutes. Seeing good pros having the discipline to stay out of the action for long periods of time helps me make it real for my game. Very nice addition.
Don't know about the jam with trip kings on the river. If he has king the money goes in either way. Is he really more likely to have a small pair and call than to bluff a missed draw?
Love watching you run good. The time stamp is a great feature. Happy holidays!
are the early morning / middle of the night hours softer action than just the evening / night in vegas?
Hi Brad. Do you have a spreadsheet showing your session results (earnings/losses) from each of these vlogs you upload? Cheers.
Glad you booked a win after the BB in the jacks. I’ve been watching you for a long time and it’s really awesome too see your skill and thought process evolve.
Thanks a lot man. I think I've improved but also running much better this year than in years past, 2019 in particular.
Hi brad so inalways wonder what is that screen and red and green button on the poker table do can someone please help me understand it?
brad owen is one of the best poker youtuber i watch, the content is great. You should think about having custom poker chips to give out to fans when you see them
Love the time stamp. Provides so much additional context to the session.
Brad is the goat vlogger. Love how you handled the dealer situation , you're the man Brad !
