On finale night he'll give Taylor a half ass apology and say it was just game, giggle and act all fun loving acting like little old me isn't that bad. Nicole will do the same thing. This is done every season when the people being bullied confront the bullies on Big Brother finale night.
Unlike other seasons, live feeds were available from the time they entered the big brother house. We saw the immediate hate Taylor got. She didn't spend that much time with the men and when she did try to socialize with the women you could feel the hate they had towards her through the screen so I'm sure she felt it too. What was she supposed to do. There's like a theme throughout the house that even evicted houseguests are continuing and that is, how dare Taylor not sit alone isolated.

They made this alliance within about 6 hours of entering the house!! “She only spent time with the guys.” They didn’t even give her a chance.
Exactly Taylor tried to talk to them and they would make fun of her and say why is she trying to talk to us. The lack of self awareness of many of the houseguests is scary. If you didn’t trust her ok you won’t trust lost of people in the house but they were cruel in how they spoke about her
Finally a channel that asks questions the fans wanted answers to. Even if her answers didn't match her actions in the house completely.

It was classic high school mean girl behavior. A popular, outgoing girl bullies and talks ill of another girl and the other girls buy into it because they want to be friends with the popular girl.

Admittedly, we don’t see EVERYTHING. As far as I know, the live feeds didn’t show Ameerah talking to Daniel about his blow up and it didn’t make the edit either. Likewise, it’s totally possible we haven’t seen some “snarky” things Taylor may have said. They definitely curate feeds to show us specific things. Now we did see a lot of evidence of bullying.
I think the best thing to take away is that the truth is very likely on Taylor’s side, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few nuggets of truth from the others. At the end of the day it still didn’t warrant players making things personal.

She never defended Taylor. A half hearted “actually…I like her” after listening to 30 minutes of Jasmine and Alyssa cursing her out behind her back doesn’t count. Especially when it was 3 weeks into the bullying and isolation that SHE started along with Paloma. 3 days before she “spoke up for Taylor”, she was making faces in the kitchen mirror when she left, as if talking her was awful. As a lighter skin black woman myself, I would have loved for Ameerah to acknowledge or at least go deeper into the colorism question.
I can understand she may have not talked to Taylor about it, but you don't have to talk to someone about it to know it exists and often plays a role.
Lighter skin women like Ameerah and Jasmine actually benefit from colorism whether they want to admit it or not, so may not be as aware of what darker skin women go through. People tend to focus more on issues that affect them directly.
Now, that doesn't mean lighter skin women don't deal with racism, but colorism WITHIN the black community is a separate issue in itself. So Taylor has a harder hill to climb in general due to colorism alone.
Social media has done a wonderful job of highlighting the colorism over the last 10 years (watch Chrissie on RUclips), so no excuse to say you aren't aware these days. Hard to ignore the conversations in 2022.
The truth is, Taylor DID talk to Ameerah about colourism on the feeds. Ameerah is lying if she says otherwise. 🙄

All this before anything real actually happened. @@PLHouse I tried to listen to it but I just can't make out what she's saying and the context. The first time jasmine says "El cockroach" and they laugh. Then the second time, ameerah makes reference to that discussion with jasmine again and says "El cockroach" and she says how funny it was. Each time, the recording along with the laughter makes it hard to make out what exactly is being said. I guess I need to see and hear a better copy.

The second I saw Taylor when BB 24 began, I told my spouse that she would have a big problem with the females. She was black with long hair, nice slender body, rocking a brightly colored mini dress. Everything people in USA typically assign to white women in terms of beauty. Taylor was inadvertently besting them on their own level.

This was a really great interview, I appreciate the questions that were asked especially from a CRT perspective and not giving her opportunities to normalize toxic and contradictory behaviour.
I still can’t believe that big brother production actually allowed such bulling in the house. These people are such bullies, it wasn’t about the game anymore it was so personal, I can just imagine how Taylor family must be feeling watching how she’s being treated very sad

Have you watched prior seasons? Honey this is light weight compared to past seasons.
I completely agree. One of my favorite things about Survivor is how they adapt and try and support diversity and inclusion. I recently re-watched Survivor Tocantins and I felt like there was a lot of sexism going on in that season and it even felt encouraged by the show (ex: brought Coach back and praised him despite how he treated women). Now, Jeff and Survivor implemented diversity casting and use their show as a platform to talk about diversity (ex: Jeff encouraging/enabling the tribe to have conversations on diversity in tribal council and editing the show so there is plenty of time to allow those conversations to make air). I love how Jeff and the show Survivor recognize their own flaws and aren't afraid to acknowledge them on air and adjust. Big Brother could do this to, but they choose not to. For example, they edit out most of the toxic behavior from the episodes that they air. Part of why Turner said what he said about piling on in the veto ceremony is because he knows Big Brother well enough that he suspected a lot of the bullying of Taylor was being edited out (which it was) so he was doing what he could to force it to make the air. One example of what Big Brother could do is include this type of behavior on air and have a person from a prior season that was bullied like that come and do a sit down with Julie to talk about what it was like for them and help us all think about what we can learn from it. Instead of one person, they could even have a panel. Big Brother, including Julie Chen-Moonves just don't seem to actually care about it because they never take any real action to address it.
At the same time, while her family must be having a really hard watching how the house has treated Taylor, they must be so proud of her. What a class act. She is so strong, poised, kind and articulate. What a role model.
Taylor did have a convo about colorist with her!!!! Ameerah went and talk shit and shit about it with the other girls...

Some good questions were asked that I'm glad made her stumble. However, based on this interview and a couple more of her other exits, she actually doesn't take accountability for much of anything. In fact, I'm willing to bet she doesn't even believe she has much to apologize for in regards to her treatment towards Taylor.
Ameerah has referred to Taylor as "a b*tch" (on several occasions) and "a cockroach" just to name a couple. She, along with Paloma and Jasmine, were the three people that spearheaded the Taylor hate train right from the very first night.
They didn't even give her a chance to speak to them bc they'd almost instantly shut down the conversation or just ignore her entirely. Of course Taylor is going to go hang out with the guys if she feels as though none of the girls like her; that's just common sense.
She should be honest with herself, she only gave Taylor the time of day in that last week bc she was under the impression Taylor would be going up and going home.
And of the hundreds of nasty things said about Taylor in just the measly 20+ days that Ameerah was still in the house, half of which came out her own mouth, Ameerah only bothered to try to correct one. That doesn't automatically absolve her of all the vile things she's done. It barely even deserves acknowledgement, if I'm honest, because simply saying "I don't think she meant it like that" isn't the shining Defender Moment she thinks it is. It's actually less than the bare minimum. I will not applaud a fish for swimming.
And, really? She's not sure if Taylor experienced colorism in the house? This is the girl that's supposed to be the head of the diversity department in Google?
Colorism has always been prevalent in not only the black community, but many other ethnic groups. Ameerah, as a light-skinned and mixed woman, benefits from it, whether she knows (and wants to admit it) or not. Dark-skinned women are often linked w/ negative connotations such as "aggressive", "loud", "angry" - none of which even remotely describe Taylor.
And I better not hear that nonsense and tired old tale that "we don't see everything." Keep it. We've heard it a million and one times and it's been wrong a million and one times. Feed cuts protect YOU. And all the feeds we HAVE seen, well, I suggest you update your LinkedIn profile.

In the Diary Room she said Taylor didn't deserve to be treated that way by Daniel, and then she told Nicole that she took what Taylor said the wrong way....but that's about it.
She did it behind her back and it is all on the 24/7 feeds. She even called Taylor a roach

When Taylor tried speaking to Daniel again he shouted at her a second time, Ameerah told Daniel that she didn't think Taylor had bad intentions when she made that comment and then Daniel told Ameerah that he didn't care because he thinks Taylor is a bad person either way.

They were wrong in treating Taylor like that, especially Daniel and Nicole. These two are truly horrible people that only care about themselves no one else. They are all going to come out of the house and say they weren’t that bad or changed their behavior, but that is only evident that BB was saying things to them about the controversy in the diary room and made them aware.

The women were jealous of Taylor because of her looks and mannerisms. But what pushed them over the edge was that she was a beauty queen. It got to Paloma and spread like wild 🔥 from there through the women.

When Daniel was going off she didn't say anything, so no you didn't stand up for Taylor. later on she went to Daniel to say she didn't think Taylor meant it that way. That was it.
I feel sure that Taylor is an empath. She probably felt the negative emotions with the girls and started spending more time with some (not all) of the guys because of their vibe. Let's face it, the girls hated her from the moment she walked in the door because they felt threatened by her title and beauty. Mainly Paloma that spreaded lies to everyone in the beginning and it snowballed I am not sure Nicole misunderstood what Taylor said about quitting. She just chose to take it in a negative way to keep Taylor perpetually on the block.. I think at some point everyone was on the Taylor train. Some more than others but they all owe her a sincere apology for their part. That being said, I appreciate Ameerah's candid interview.
When she opened up to Monte, Taylor basically admitted to being an empath whether she knew it or not. She's getting the typical treatment empaths get as well. I love her and am so glad Karma is working in her favor 🤍
