- Eviction speeches don't matter. That is, they don't matter when trying to save yourself. However, that's not to say that there hasn't been some WILD eviction speeches in the past. Although a speech has never saved anybody, they certainly have impacted the game, and today, we'll be going through all of the craziest, impactful, and unexpected eviction speeches in Big Brother history.

it comes just so out of left field. as someone who didn't even watch the season, was there any build up to this? did Ronni EVER mention his dislike for Michelle prior, or did he just slam her just cause lmao?
The funniest part about Ronnie's speech is that like three years later, I was at Knott's Berry Farm with some friends, and saw him with Michelle. Clearly, he got over it.

Taylor in BB24 is SO iconic! Definitely a future BB All Stars player for sure. I hope she makes it far in the game
Iconic? Do you have any idea of what that word means? She is at the bottom and has only now made it this far cause the outsiders wanted to control the game. She's done nothing to make herself iconic beyond one eviction speech
I have to agree with Anonymous Person. I like Taylor, but I don't think I would if I didn't feel so bad for her. She's essentially a floater, and aside from her eviction speech she's done virtually nothing other than be the victim of brutal bullying tactics. I feel for her, but that doesn't make her iconic, at least in my eyes. :/
Ignore these two haters, Drown Soda. You're 100% right. Taylor is awesome. You don't HAVE to win a ton of challenges or make a ton of alliances to be iconic. How Taylor has acted in BB24, and recovered, and become a strong, amazing person, is such a great storyline and makes her stand out so much that she is EASILY iconic. Idiots like the two above me just think 'icons' mean winning challenges and making a ton of moves. It isn't.

@@EK-9vv It's still a bad look to say that on live tv. In Cody's original season, Christine got absolutely destroyed by the internet because she was married and how close she was with Cody. After the show, Dani confirmed why she was mad and explained their relationship status. Then said "I could be wrong and he meant it from a game stand point, but when I heard that it triggered me" so it may be obvious to you, but that doesn't mean it was obvious to the hundreds of thousands of viewers.

Not eviction speeches, but Turner's veto meeting and Victor from BB18 nominations speech were so good.
I was catching up on big brother after vacation yesterday and just watched turners veto meeting speech. i was yelling YESSSSS at the tv 😂
Yeah turner sppech made me a fan! I have to admit couldn't stand taylor until the bullying started and i seen her in a different light. Turner though never noticed him but i do now. Fave houseguest after that!!

we need another for veto speeches, whether it’s from the hoh or the nominees. turner’s speech, brett’s speech where he pretends to have a vision, and some of the speeches where people are on the block but play it on their loved ones need a shoutout

BB8 Jen was iconic. It really gave ANTM when that one girl quit in front of tyra and just walked off. She knew her limits and dodge potentially emotional damage from that show. Yup!

And I love that Taylor was slaying in that dress while she slayed in her speech.
I'll never forget how raw both Nicole and Enzo were in the finale of BB22. Nicole was flabbergasted about what was going to happen and Enzo's desperation and feeling terrified about going in 3rd again was so evident. It was just pure, raw emotion and led to the most memorable final 3 eviction.
It's absolutely glorious watching that unfold live because Cody gave absolutely no hint to anyone that he was going to take Enzo over Nicole until during the commercial break after he won the final 3 HOH
if y’all haven’t already, please watch at least one BBCAN season. the production, host and houseguests are top tier. the last two seasons were iconic as well as their winners. not tooting their horn because i am canadian but it did push my interest into this game. so glad you included speeches from BBCAN 😊

I can honestly say there is not a single bad season of BBCAN (except BBCAN8, but that one doesn't count). Even the weaker seasons of that BB franchise are worth the watch. That cannot be said about BBUS.
as a fellow diehard bbcan fan, i agree almost every season is top tier in its own way

Dani's BB13 speech was top tier! Nothing touching that especially with the epic double eviction that came afterwards. It's a top 10 episode of all time in Big Brother.

My personal favorite eviction speech, so iconic it was featured in the fight compilation video for that season, was Casey's. His digs at Ronnie and Jessie were hilarious, and I hope if I ever went on the show, to be able to roast people with such clever insults as his. And on the off-chance you cut this part out due to copyright, I'll mention the other thing he said about Jessie that we didn't hear in this video.

Also, while eviction speeches have never saved anyone, they have in fact sent people home. At least 1 notable example was Natalie in BB9.
I didn't remember how good Casey's speech was until researching this. Casey is an underrated comedic houseguest for sure

It's definitely arguable that Taylor won BB24 with her final speech, which apparently would mean she broke yet another record--first one to change people's votes.
i think she won because she built good relationships with the jury, cause they once hated her in week on but by the time they left the house, they were rooting for her

This is not true it was a block jury vote that Taylor got and the speech didn’t matter. And Turner even confirmed it with his exit interviews.

Wow. I was actually thinking about Kailin's BBCAN7 eviction speech just the other day. In fact, I remember thinking back in week 3 of this current season that if Turner had simply took the easy way out and just sent Taylor home like some houseguests suggested, or if Ameerah had that HOH instead, we could be experiencing another uneventful 0-power-shift steamroll season right now. I remember even thinking that Taylor getting evicted in Turner's HOH would have felt just like Kailin's eviction. It's scary just how close history has come to repeating itself in this game, and it's even scarier to think how these power shifts CAN happen in seasons when you least expect them.
