I'm telling you...Taylor's mistreatment is so close to what Candice experienced in BB15. I despise when people use jealousy or being a "hater" as an excuse for everything to dislike someone. However, in Taylor and Candice's case, that's exactly what it was. They are beautiful, confident and intelligent black women who hold pageant titles. It's not something they expected, so they did everything to push stereotypes onto them. They made it even worse when they saw someone who's so attractive isn't stuck up. It pisses them off when a pretty woman is actually nice. Grown ass people being bullies...It's pathetic. 😒
I agree with most of what you've said but I think Taylor's mistreatment most closely resembles *Dominique* and Kemi...but all Black people, especially women have struggled in this game (and life, of course) as a result of implicit bias, micro/macro-aggressions. There's also more to the beauty part-- people are uncomfortable with confident women, even more so when it's a Black woman. Lot of projecting but it didn't break any part of her soul! They tried it, though. 👸🏾
Personal story. When I was younger I worked at a bank and I had a crush on one of my co workers. One day, I'm sitting in my office, and a new employee walked by, she had just been hired and she was stunning, drop dead gorgeous. My first instinct was omg, now my crush is gonna like her and I have no chance, and I instantly hated her. My crush, came to my office and to my surprise started trash talking her for being too thin and looking like a bitch. He had the complete opposite reaction that I expected and in that moment I realized that we are both being mean-spirited although I didn't articulate my thoughts out loud to him. I decided to put aside my own insecurities and walk over to her office and introduce myself and years later we are still very good friends. I could have let my insecurities stop me from having such an amazing friend. And also it's not relevant but it turned out that my coworker who I had a crush on was gay anyways, he just wasn't out at that time so I would have lost on both sides if I continued to be mean to her for no reason LOL

@@jarredah nope, there were other Taylor haters and they were able to realize that they were wrong in the moment. While in the house, Taylor told Daniel to be mindful of how his actions were going to be perceived. This was on the live feeds, so most people probably missed it, but this was after Daniel's half ass apology. Taylor was still trying to help Daniel's public image, but Daniel is so delusional he thought the public would love him and see Taylor as the mastermind villain.
Why would you even volunteer yourself to confront Taylor on a conversation that didn’t involve you a house meeting wouldn’t make what you did any better.

He is taking accountability in my opinion. They don’t see what’s happening in the house as we do. I think he’s a good person but was not equipped to deal with the stress and emotions of the game. Wonderful, pinpoint interview. You asked the exact questions that fans want to ask and hear the answers to. Side note: Daniel if you are not a bully in real life no GAME situation is going to make you behave in a bullying manner towards another person. When someone shows you who they are believe them the first time. The “learn about myself and grow from it” line is getting old now. It was old when Nicole started parroting it from interview to interview and it’s getting old and stale and ROTE listening to Daniel parrot it all over the place.

It was so GREAT watching Daniel and Nicole both leave the BB House BEFORE the Jury House. They both were awful to Taylor. The BEST part was watching Taylor WIN!!!

Dude… easy, even if he believed his friends or the people he trusted in the game, he should’ve never racially profiled Taylor and talk that crazy to a person he never gave the chance to get to know.

as someone who is a super fan shouldnt daniel be aware that the game can fuck with you mentally? if you are an emotional person in general obviously its going to come out why the hell wouldnt it i havent seen all of the seasons but im sure its come out in other houseguests in previous seasons as well
