I want to give a shout-out to Deshon Elliot, quietly emerging as the best Strong Safety in football; leading the team in tackles, and Corliss Waitman. With Cameron going down, the punting has been FANTASTIC and he has not been getting enough credit.
Waitman had a 1 or 2 week cameo with us a few years ago and I remember liking what I saw. You just don't want to have to worry about the punter shanking one at the worst time. (there's never a good time)

I was anti-Russell because I wanted to see Fields develop more. However, the passing game was still anemic, so I understand Tomlin's reasoning for wanting to see if Wilson could spark something. The first quarter, he looked like a less mobile Fields. Final 3, he looked like Russ at midseason last year. People forget that he was among the league leaders in passing touchdowns and passer rating for a large chunk of last year, and he almost dragged a team that was 0-3 and had a historically bad start on defense to a playoff spot.
that was wild to me, and when the coach was changing him, and yelling at him. then benching him. that was wild. he played against 5 of the hardest teams last year. So it was definitely a giant difference.

I'm glad things worked out the way they did, such that the Steelers have a promising QB performance from Russ under their belt as well as being happy to have Fields come out onto the field if he ever needed to.

I've never seen a worse 6-0 team that this year's Chiefs. They have no receivers, an ok run game, and an elite defense. That's not a super bowl team, even with Mahomes.
I know not everyone believes this and some times people use the bad referee calling as an excuse for losing, but I have watched some of the KC Chief games this year, and I can honestly say that they get a lot of leniency from the refs when it comes to penalties. Other teams are getting overly penalized like the Steeler's for some reason they are getting a lot of "pardon my french" Bullshit penalties that have taken major stats away from players and points off the board.
Unsure if you track these comments team. But where does the panel think we rank within AFC North? Watching the Ravens against the Bucs get me nervous - can't wait for North ball to blow up!!
