I was randomly searching village life in Scotland near Hebrides and I came across your videos, they are so beautiful. I have always been close to nature and I love it but it's so crowded here. I'm not a vegan but your food looks delicious and the last one we make at home just we don't roast flower and pumpkin separately we fry it on the same pan with lentils and lots of potatoes before adding water.
Do you ever make your own hummous? It's really easy and does away with the plastic packaging! I've been making a lot of my own basics recently, including home-made yogurt. If I'd known how easy it was, I would have started years ago! Making my own pesto tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes!

Some great recipe ideas for someone who has just become a vegetarian. We’ve been trying tofu, but I really didn’t like the texture, but I think I might have to try some different brands have to say everything looks great.

Hello Molly ☺. Make sure you wipe clean or peel those mushrooms! You can get a ecoli strains from the soil thats left on them. Not to mention what they have been sprayed with if they're not organic. Sending love, light and summer blessings 🐞🌹🌻🐝 xx
I rinse my mushrooms just like any other produce. Also, organic produce is still sprayed with pesticides, just different pesticides (which are often less effective and require even more to be used).
It was fun seeing what you eat in a week - mainly because of the emphasis on using up what's in the house. I would love to see more of your ideas on this!
Smoked paprika is great in tofu scramble. :) Also, black salt ... if you want a little eggy flavor. I was vegan for several years when I was younger, but I didn't do it very healthfully (though I thought I was!). Now I'm coming back around to it and loving it ...... and doing it right, I think. :) I shared my vegan Shepherd's Pie recipe on my Substack (slow snd simple living), but shared a day of vegan meals video yesterday if you / anyone is interested. ❤ The recipe link is in the description. That one-pot meal looks DELICIOUS! I'll definitely be making that very soon. Thanks for sharing! Jo
