Yummy! Now I’m hungry! I make a black bean tamale pie. The topping is cornbread and it is baked. I make a Sudanese Red Lentil soup that has a great blend of spices and veggies. I have a heavy delicious (I’m thinking winter not spring!) lentil skillet flatbread recipe. I have a decadent Vegan chocolate coconut cream pie recipe to die for. I can’t make it often because I have to maintain a low sugar diet, but if you have special occasion, let me know. I’m not quite sure how to share recipes here tho. Will an online link work from my end? Ok, now it’s time for lunch! 🥙 One more, beans and toast are not common here in the USA, but I have a recipe for these that includes blistered cherry tomatoes and beans on garlic toast that is a real taste treat! 🍅🫘
I love PUL’s red lentil and potato soup, I make that a lot. It’s yummy with a sweet potato as well. Rainbow Plant Life’s Chana Masala recipe is another one of my favorite pantry meals. My go-to pantry meals when I’m too tired to cook is Smitten Kitchen’s quick pasta with chickpeas.
Awkward shapes….thats real cooking lol 😂😂Lentils of all colours are cheap and very good for you, i dont know why more families dont use them. All looks tasty…hope you enjoyed x
Great video! I love pasta e ceci as a pantry meal! What’s not to like about pasta and chickpeas in a flavourful tomato broth served with homemade focaccia bread? One of the most comforting and cheap meals. I use Jamie Oliver’s recipe and make the bread in our bread machine.
Hey Molly just watched your amazing channel l love all these recipes and make them similar too,l love your videos there so inspirational thank you for them😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've just subscribed to your RUclips channel after watching quite a few of your videos. I am now hooked! Have you ever done a Q&A? Will watch the video if you have.
Thank you for sharing. Always looking for ideas. I have just ordered off eBay a book called on the pulse. Hoping to get new ideas for recipes with pulses 💕xx
Hi from the Isle of Mull! Looks lovely! I find it easier to freeze ginger and grate from frozen, it works so well! If it's organic ginger there is also no need to peel.
Yummy 😋 vegan meal ideas Molly. Another fantastic video. I do a lot of my cooked meals in my instant pot ( it's a multicooker with the option of using it as a pressure cooker or slow cooker). Love 🥰 the video and love 💞Molly. My favourite meals are spicy meals.
I loved this video. And the simple delicious recipes. And I loved how the recipes had few ingredients. I was struggling with cooking a bit but dialing it back to simple great tastes seem like a good idea. I notice that when I made red lentils potato carrot curry today I had to use alot of salt. My sister told me by making it more savory cooking down celery carrot and onions and also using some lemon juice to brighten the curry then one wouldnt need to add much salt. Just a tip!
Molly, all the recipes you showed look really yummy! I'm definately going to give them a try. Also, after hearing you talk about using the Aura app when you meditate in the morning I decided to check it out and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much for turning me on to that! Shine on!
Lovely warming recipes Molly (winter is just starting here and it’s cold and windy, 3 degrees this morning). I love Korean food and my favourite is bibimbap, Korean Vegan and Cheap Lazy Vegan have good recipes I think. It does require some fresh veg. Also, when I’m feeling a bit down or tired I make a rice congee with seaweed and silken tofu. It’s very comforting.
That rage looks amazing!! I love to cook up a mix of quinoa, barley, and lentils (makes the quinoa stretch farther ;) ) that lasts me a week or so. I just dress it up with whatever suits my fancy for the day. Sometimes it's a homemade taco seasoning with a bit of tomato paste, avocado, cilantro if I have it, and nutritional yeast. Other times it's whatever veggies I have (my favorite it broccoli) with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, parsley, and nutritional yeast. I also like doing a mix of soy sauce, lime juice, toasted sesame oil, garlic, and peanut butter. You can heat this or not, but then pour that onto your grain mix add some veggies if you like and voila! Divine!
I made peshweri naan last time I made chickpea curry. They were actually really simple to make and tasted amazing. My 13 year old even said they were better then the ones at her favourite restaurant!!! X
Hi Molly, I'm going to try home made lentil soup. I had a tin a few days ago & have seen branded tins for £1.90 each(shocking). Hope you've had a lovely Easter weekend.💚
I add a bit of curry powder to my lentil soup and add a tbs of pickle/chutney when I liquidise it. Adds a new dimension. Thanks Molly really helpful recipes.
Thank you for sharing the recipes. The tomato and lentil ragu looks amazing. I make a very similar potato and lentil soup - I also add carrot for some extra vegetables.
I'm confused about the minimalist bakers. I looked at their cookbook which seems to be vegan. But I looked up there RUclips page cause I thought it would be cool to follow them and immediately noticed a chicken recipe. Not tofu but real chicken Have they switched to a standard diet?
I too am a vegan living in a tiny house. I’ve only recently moved into the tiny house and I’m still working out my storage, so thanks for sharing what you keep on hand and how you store it.
I'm so keen to try that ragu and the pick up limes soup! A favourite pantry meal of mine is lentil and potato curry with homemade rotis! Real comfort food
Great video, Molly! I've been enjoying your channel for a few months now, and I appreciate how engaging and open you are. Thank you! Cheers to you from Ontario, Canada!
Hello Molly. These were some lovely dishes, they looked tasty 😋. Especially the one with the white beans. I too like these kind of meals. By the way: love your little wooden spoons.Thank you for sharing. Happy Easter🪺🐣
Your meals all look so yummy. It looks so simple to just have to cook vegan. In my home, I am vegan but my family is not, which creates a lot of extra work and dishes. Everyone gets healthy, wholesome meals in our family though, which is very important to me and worth the extra work =) Thank you for another lovely video.
This was a great video! I really appreciate your realness with not wanting to workout and the dog getting super dirty. These recipes look delicious too!
I love your videos I am a vegetarian and I love how easy and inexpensive your tips can be I also love meditation and peace in my life thank you for showing us the beautiful Scottish landscape I am of Scottish decent my mom and dad are Scottish brings back lovely memories when I visited ❤
Thanks for the lentil soup recipe! I made it for dinner tonight and it was super yummy, healthy, quick and inexpensive. Definitely one of my "go to's" from now on! Cheers from Vancouver Island. 🤗
A gorgeous healthy looking vibrant glow to your skin, you looked radiant 💪 I’m definitely going to have a go at making the bread, the quirky shape of yours are much more attractive than anything I’ve ever bought in a packet!
It all looks so good, now I'm starving! I'll also have to look for your oatmeal flapjacks recipe. Or maybe it's linked below. 😊 Found it!
Aw good! :)
