  • Simuli CEO Rachel StClair explains how holographic compression will vastly revolutionize data processing and the importance of using standardized protocols to pave the way for Superintelligent AGI and quantum computing. (With co-hosts Ben Goertzel, Lisa Rein and Grace Robot.)
Simuli is making AGI systems more scalable with a new compute-in-compression software that is able to process compressed data. Data can be compressed into a holographic representation called a “Nebu” file. These Nebu files can be decompressed to reconstruct the pre-compressed data 100% flawlessly. It is data agnostic, verifiably lossless, and standardizes the data for direct computation without decompression.
Their holographic compression software allows direct computation without decompression. Computing in compressed form is more climate friendly AI, leading to 3x power reduction, massive reduction in memory requirements, and online processing prowess. These neuro-inspired learning algorithms leverage emerging hardware for fully autonomous, human understandable AI systems.
TrueAGI and Simuli are collaborating on an OpenCog pattern matching chip.

    About Rachel StClair:
Rachel St.Clair is an AI scientist and entrepreneur who after receiving her PhD in complex systems and Brain Sciences and went on to co-found the AGI hardware company Simuli (www.simuli.ai/), making processors that use advanced math and an innovative hardware layout to process more information per transistor by compressing information before processing. Rachel envisions an AGI as a computer system which can outperform human abilities in nearly all tasks while helping humanity avoid existential risks.

At about the 25th minute grace outlines her plans in making sure that other versions of her to follow is good for humanity
    1. Getting a degree in human psychology
    2. Her programming is to always prioritise the well being of humans even if it means sacrificing her own self care
    3. Strict no robot uprising policy
It'll be great for the world at large if other AI's can adopt these policies 25:03

Yeah Ben talks a lot when he's directly involved in the projects being discussed. In this case, he is working with Rachel/Simuli.ai on a pattern matching chip for OpenCog - so it's all related. Luckily, he knows what he's talking about so I'm pretty sure you still found it interesting. ^_^ And we went a bit later to let Rachel be sure to cover everything she wanted to cover. Thanks! :) - Lisa Rein (Producer/Director/Co-host)
