My dad was a custom home builder in the 50s - 80s. He kept the hardwood from very job. Leftover bundles, all different lengths and colors. My grandfather laid all of daddy’s hardwoods so he used the scraps on our living and dining rooms. It was beautiful. Love what you call calico floors.

Thank you Amanda for your thoughts & prayers concerning the hurricane that hit Louisiana! We live in Baton Rouge & lost 2 huge Drake Elms that were planted 45 yrs ago. One landed on my husband's truck.
If the wind were going the opposite way it would have crashed into our kitchen. The city is a big mess but our friends & family are all ok. New Orleans is another story. They really got smashed & our prayers go out to them. Love you you. You really brighten up our days!🤗💕💕💕

Like the idea of going live on Fridays for the drawings and prerecording during the week! It’s not that going live isn’t good but prerecording are clearer and like they said is you don’t spin or loose connection. Keep up the great job.

Amanda, it does matter if you keep your car running while putting gas in your car. You might blow up the car especially if there is a spark. Stay safe.

I'm from Jersey and we don't pump our own gas. Now I need to learn how when I come to Tennessee.
All gas stations used to have employees who pumped your gas for you. Then they had pumps labeled self-serve or attendant! Then they slowly did away with attendants and almost all pumps went to self-serve.
I know all this, because I am 55 and my family ran a grocery store back in the day.
