I don't know how anyone would second guess anything this man does at his company. He has went out of his way and bent over backwards to make these homes as affordable as he can for the average American person. Randy and Manda are wonderful people.

The homes for The Grove were finished or mostly finished before the land was because of Mother Nature. Everyone in The Grove community are now starting to move in. The landscaping etc is still in progress.

@@mxbadboy263 Not exactly. It's not assumed that RVs are primary residences and therefore not held to the same residential building codes. As a result they tend to go down in value, not up like true real estate.
Your prices are extremely reasonable. A new truck can be $60,000 to $80,000. I love your vision and mission! America needs many thousands of new affordable homes built every year! Tiny homes are just part of the solution.
@@blad8933 Holy Cow , the house is 60,000 Plus 13,000 for a window, tonguebox and finishing walls inside and out. So your up to 73,000 not including anything like solar, a mini split or anything else. I think you're right. This is just for basic stuff. This is not for people who have trouble affording a house. I'm sorry Randy. You started on a different track but now it's changed. The base price is too high..
For those worried about an oven, I have an Oster oven on my counter. It's larger than a toaster oven, it has double doors on it. Can bake anything your heart desires. I cook for four in this, don't use my oven it's to hot in Florida. Also air fryers can be used for everything. Y'all need to get with the times!!!
Some people just prefer there regular full size kitchen appliances stove and oven and big iceboxes even if they go tiny doesn’t mean they’re appliances has to go tiny the old saying is each to his own god makes us all unique in our personalities and our tastes ❤😂😊✝️☮️✡️😇🥰🗽👍🙏❤️🇺🇸👼💡
I use a on the counter Wolfgang Puck oven,broiler,air fryer,toaster oven,all in one. Bought it from HSN. Works great
I have the exact same one and love it. I don't have to bend over to get a heavy pan out of the oven and bake bread and make great toast and anything I need. I only use 2 burners on my smooth top range and store bakeware in the oven. It's so nice that there are so many options regarding baking/cooking options these days for folks.
Yep. I used a ninja air fryer oven in mine. Never missed the big oven.
I have what they call a toaster oven. Have never made toast in it. It is nor and air fryer but I am getting one because of the convection feature. I have cooked roasts, pizzas, muffins, biscuits and cakes in it. Hardly use my stove but to cook a holiday turkey.
I love the fact that you don't have the windows on the sides because you have a lot more options because of that. You could hang pictures there or add tiny shelves, pillows, etc.
and sit back with pillows and a seat cushion. Would be beautiful. Just a 30 foot would be better. Add to bathroom. For better ada walk in shower.

You and Amanda are sitting in a 'window seat'. Designed to put pillows behind your back as you are looking out and/or reading or sketching. Bay windows or Bow windows are typically all glass. Patricia
Just a thought for those who like to use an oven: The oven is not working at my house, so I use a turkey roasting pan for cooking a turkey, baking a roast, or baking potatoes or any baking needs, and it does just as good a job as an oven! The turkey roaster can be put up on a shelf, perhaps in the pantry area when not in use. Since it is fairly large and would take up a fair amount of space in the pantry, you could store some stuff inside of it when it is in the pantry. 🤗

Hey, I once baked the best little old cake ON THE GRILL! I had finished grilling, but still had some awesome, perfect coals left, so on a whim, I just stirred up some cake mix, folded up some foil for a pan and threw it on there and IT WORKED, lol !! But, seriously...I'd be a little scared of putting an oven in a wooden closet. Seems like, if you COULD find a unit that was properly insulated to do that, it could really be expensive, and might be problematic with getting insurance. I really love this Woody design. Randy pointed out the exact reason I would want a loft like that...being curled up there with a good book when it rains or snows!😊
@@deb7518 What she's talking about is a separate appliance that you pull out and use it on your counter, then put it away, like a giant Insta-pot. I've never heard of it, so I had to google it.☺ There are portable multifunction ovens, too, that can sit on an open shelf.
we have no oven in our RV we use an Air Fryer oven with double doors it works great
Just adding this for those who never have seen what Suzy is talking about. They are portable ovens aka turkey roasters for those who may never have seen one. Electric plug in.. Lol. Our moms and grandmothers had them in the 60s 70s 80s 90. They are awesome! So are electric fry pans, and electric griddles. All plug ins. Still made.
I saw a brilliant idea to avoid crawling around (my knees would cuss me out!). They put one of those crawler/roller things that are used to work on cars at the top of the stairs. They sit on it and roll around in their loft!
seekingjoynow Good question! The loft in her tiny home had a privacy screen on the living room side and like a half wall on the stair side. Both of which made rolling off the bed a lot less of an adventure! The "privacy screen" wasn't a screen, but something that looked more like wrought iron swirls (pretty small and close together). Still, rolling around in the loft for recreation should probably be avoided if movie night included making a significant dent in a bottle of wine. Maybe she made it look easier than it really is to control, but I've been having trouble picturing myself crawling around on my hands and knees, so I think I will try this out if the tiny home I end up buying has a loft with a staircase.
@@melaniehoshall6942 - we are just going to put in a large mattress, to fill most of the space, and then have a small amount of storage right at the top of the stairs, facing the stairs, so it's easy to access, and gives some more privacy to the sleeping loft for guests.

I am so interested in ALL the videos because I'm pretty sure this is where I will buy my tiny home ~ BUT~WOW Amandahas blossomed into this amazing businesswoman that Randy would be in a different position without her because she is so human and such a great salesperson. The Woodley is a beautiful home but is a lot of maintenance. Very beautiful home can't wait to see the incredi cottage and add a cottage, I think this is my new favorite home, what a great idea on all the home and so beautiful, and affordable . Not everyone wants to have tiny appliances in their kitchen just because they choose to go tiny living the old saying to each his own god made us all unique with our personalities and our tastes in the things we like I love the way randy allows us to have the choice of those opinions it is what it is optional and the even greater thing is he quotes the prices of those things that they willing do for a extra price and that is great because we as humans like options and like gods word says a workman is worthy of his hire so being able to have these opinions open to choose to have is awesome 👏 and paying for it is normal ❤😂😊☮️✡️✝️🥰😇🙏👍❤️🇺🇸👼💡💯

You can always hang a picture over the electrical box. Some people put a small door over their breaker box. There are so many options to cover an electrical panel.

I seen somebody had a little stool with wheels on it you get from her mattress to the stairs if you don't want to put your mattress right at the edge by the stairs you can get a stool with wheels on it to get you from the bed to the stairs that away you don't have to crawl to the stairs. I would pay $72 900 USD for that. (If I had that kind of money :&) It's not a lot to ask for what Incredible Tiny Homes are offering, with paint and everything. I think the haters are just trolls. The only thing I would change would be the shower. I would give up the closet to the side of it to make it bigger, so I could put a hog trough bathtub in there :) Other than that, it's perfect. Just enough DIY to feel like I'd be starting with a blank slate for my creativity, without getting all stressed about having to hire a bunch of potentially douchey contractors to finish the things Idk how to do. I'll keep you in mind long after this Woody blitz is over, just in case I'm ever affluent enough to buy my own. I'm in Canada, tho. I'd have to look into duties and taxation and the cost of a truck rental to haul it and whatnot. Great Q&A :)
I live tiny and I have a counter top Breville oven and it works great. It’s the same size as a smaller microwave. Some of them have dehydrators, and air fryer options. You can even cook a pizza in them. I love my Breville oven. 🍕🥔🥩🍰🥧👩🏻🍳 The human coffin space might be able to fit one of those HDX metal racks on wheels that you can roll in and out. I would put some cute baskets to store food and things.

I have a Breville food processer and espresso machine - love Breville - I would not hesitate to buy their oven, i just don't need one - but if I had this home, absolutely!
I prefer oven with stove top onit so I was elated when randy said he coul eliminate the cabinet and put oven as option so that way a person who went tiny could still have the appliances they prefer right next to the refrigerator and that is great 👍 because so people who want to go tiny living can still have their full size kitchen appliances iceboxes and ovens
I have the large Breville oven and haven’t used my large kitchen oven in years. Mind you it’s just me and my husband. But if I ever get a tiny house, I’ll make room for my Breville. I don’t need anything else.
I agree, the mini split should blow toward the loft, if possible.
Yes, moving it to the top of the washer/dryer closet will be perfect to keep both levels heated & cooled.

If I hadnt paid contractor to turn a vinyl sided 14x28 shed in my sister's backyard to a tiny house Id be buying a Woody I love it! To put costs in perspective I did this in Nov 21 it was conpleted Jan 22 It cost me 32,000 and I got an 18,000 discount because the contractor had never done a tiny house and wanted the experience. I spent an additional 10K on furniture amd refridgerator. This Woody is a hell of a deal.

If you put in a smaller fridge you can put a small oven on top, same if you put in a washer dryer combo, you could put the oven on top. Be creative and think through what you really need. Going Tiny is a lifestyle, you can’t just cram in everything in. ❤

This is the best floorplan (in my opinion) I hate walking into the stairs in alot of these tiny homes. Great job! Love the pantry! Love the window seat/bay window that provides so much light and extra seating! Love the storage near shower! Love the storage under the stairs for litter box/pet bed/muddy boots! Love the idea of relocating the minisplit so it isn't in the living room and barely seen!
With that said...don't see the point of the pantry AND that empty space next to it. I would rather see that space used in the bathroom. Not a fan of walking into bathrooms to face the toilet. Totally get why the W/D isn't in the bathroom and any repair man will too. If the regular water heater is the short one and fits under the stairs, could you make a small stand up platform next to the loft for getting dressed/undressed? or maybe a mini closet/chesterdrawers "LOL" upstairs for clothes because hanging clothes in the kitchen where the smells are sounds yucky. Just my two cents. Ya'll are doing a great job and I can't wait to come visit and see the neighborhoods you have built. Bless you and your team.
Oiled wood floors are my personal favorite, but luxury vinyl plank is a lot easier to take care of and keep clean. We will have a hot air convection oven that will take care of our baking and roasting needs, and are thinking of putting it in the pantry (with some heat shielding on the walls around the oven).
Yes. Real hardwood floors also cost 2x to 3x as much $$ as vinyl flooring.
I wish for folks that are good with vinyl flooring or those who want wood, it would be nice to have a floor that was more like wood stain that is the shade of the walls. I would actually buy my own vinyl flooring the color I want and DIY or have
whoever put in. My opinion. Have not liked the dark grey vinyl floor with the natural wood walls!

I am in love with the cottage. I really want one the way you showed it with the add i cottage. I was all in for the woody until I saw the cottage. Please have the model available for mid July when I show up with my checkbook! I really want to know the cost for the two cottages as shown in the video. I thought the layout was perfect and I love single level living.

There are tons of large toaster ovens that can do everything! They make big ones that could handle lots of cooking, air frying, etc.

These are very nice. They look more like regular homes and that is a plus. The incredibox can be made homey inside but not so much on the outside. I guess whatever you can safely finance or pay for is the
main consideration. I would be happy to have either style, Home is what you make it! Cozy and Comfy is my choice!
You can buy a countertop oven for $70, so that might be better for a tiny house. OMG! I guess the Brady Bunch thing! That's the first place that I saw a wall oven, too!
I would do a wraparound porch and do a outdoor kitchen with the washer and dryer out there.

@@chezmoi42 Yes I realize that😉, it's more about where to put it. We have a serious housing problem in Ontario, Canada too and I've said Tiny houses were the answer for the last 5 years. Randy is the only person I've seen that has the whole concept and vision from start to finish. Affordable home, with affordable rent in a beautiful community setting. The thing is ppl like Randy don't come along everyday most are in it for the money, but he is not. You can see Randy's whole face beam when he talks about giving people a community and somewhere affordable to live. I truly believe God is right behind him. We have great Amish builders here as well and I'm hoping the Lord will create some connection or partnership for Randy to bring what he is doing there up here. This is a truly beautiful thing we are witnessing here & such a blessing for so many.

The ones I heard mispronounced the most in small towns, besides chest of drawers, was fox for faux, and saLmon for salmon. 😄

The Woody’s beautiful guys. Talking about the oven situation. I have a Ninja thingy, it roasts, air roasts, air frys, bakes, broils, toasts, it has a bagel, pizza, and reheat function. I’ve baked cakes, baked and roasted roasts, chicken, toast my toast, air fry etc. works like a dream!

You guys definitely would have room for oven with two closets. I would add a curtain set back a little and use for kitchen stuff with shelves, and the other could be used for some hang clothing. I would, if wanted a Woodie will have to wait until
you decide to make a separate bedroom down stairs and slightly larger.
I like the cottage a little more and the grey new siding. It is very nice. I would not want to paint unless necessary, even white.

Instead of a in cabinet oven you can get a Bevelle counter oven it holds a regular cake pan, you can store on the counter or in the cabinet!! I love mine😊
Just an idea for that top step into the loft... It would maybe be a good place to install a swivel table/desktop to work at. Maybe use a cushion to sit on. I've seen the little swivel tables they put on the end of sofas. It would work great there. or maybe a drop down from the wall.

We remodeled our house and I didn't have a stove for over 6 years. We did just fine with small appliances so unless you are a gourmet cook a stove is just a big toaster oven

Question for you… if we got a Cottage, and an Add-a-Cottage, could the bathroom be made in the Add-a only so that it’s a 1 bath rather then 2? And possibly big enough to have a larger shower? I don’t think so, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. 😊
