My daughter and I are about 99% sure we want to do this. I just wanted to know what your experience was if you’ve ever done it.

As far as Fantasmic goes, we have not purchased a dining package before. The last time I went to Fantasmic was in 2016 if I remember right. We got there incredibly early, got the seats we wanted (front row in the "wet zone") and then had a long wait until show time. If you are adamant about a certain seating area then I would say definitely go with the dining package for that VIP seating (although I don't know exactly WHERE that VIP section is located) While the front row was an incredible view and amazing perspective I'll admit we were COLD from the water spraying on us...and it wasn't just a little wet...we were drenched lol It was obviously at night and it was in March so a little chilly that evening. Other than that it was a GREAT show and I definitely want to take Story to see it...but this time I won't be as hellbent on getting front row. With the amphitheater seating I don't think there is a bad seat anywhere. The space is huge so even when it looks like a long line to get in I really don't think you would have a problem IF you decide to see the show without the dining package. I don't want to dissuade you from doing it if you really want to! Just sharing my last experience :) I hope that helps!
