Those non-disclosure agreements are the issue of everything. These virtually let people at the top do whatever they want to you. No one should ever sign them, and if you are forced to you should come out in public about it.
NDA is normal in that world when it should be a red flag. NDA says to me, we can't guarantee you'll be treated well, but you better not talk about it.

She didn't let them continue to push her around and she stood up for herself when she quit --- with her head held up high. No job is worth fighting for in a toxic scenario. This is the 21st century in the western world --- not some third world backwater soceity. There are saner ways to make money and waaaaay more of it too . She' and Miss Teen USA are role models for little girls and women everywhere the moment they walked away from the s**t show.

It’s been going on for years. I was a pageant judge in the 90’s and I saw it them, here in Utah, and Atlantic City.
We live in a day and age where a suggestive glance or a simple “hello” can be considered “sexual harassment”. No wonder marriage and parenting rates are declining.
Sad how women cant go to work with out being harassed in some way this is why I’m scared to let my daughter work
95% of women don't ever get s3xually harassed at work so realistically you have nothing to worry about. Especially since its taken very serious nowadays
It's important to teach your daughter how to handle these types of situations because it would be nothing short of a miracle if it didn't happen. Thankfully there are a lot of healthy support groups to help.

Laylah Rose Loiczly couldn’t handle being outshone by these two ladies, one of them being only 17 years old. (What grown competent woman picks on a 17 year old let alone an adult in their 20s)?? How refreshing. In the past, you would only hear about these pageant winners being ousted because they somehow violated the pageant owners' "values." And now these young women are turning the tables and rejecting the pageant organizations because those orgs aren't living up to their personal values. Good for them!
On another note-- Is it just me, or do all of these contestants look the same these days? The clip where Miss USA was crowned, the past winner and the two finalists were almost indistinguishable. Everyone has the same hairstyle, face shape, and makeup style.

The pressure to feel beautiful and accepted outwardly as a woman takes a lot to get over. Women are objectified and while some go to these pageants to get their confidence from objectification, some love to walk which isn’t easy and takes training and some years. Just because you genuinely love fashion, heel mechanics, makeup, doesn’t mean they can’t come together in one space and enjoy it like everyone else has their hobbies or paid spaces. To win a crown is ridiculous and makes it toxic I agree, perhaps it should be woman’s only and not broadcasted for the ones who really love it. But some women can be creeps too 😭.
I use to love to model, the actual skill aspect but the attention part, drama, and fake confidence is a turn off, not just from men.
We all end up falling for stupid things that don’t matter in one way or the other. Women fall for pageants and the beauty world easily. It takes experiences and finding the soul to understand we don’t need this nor to win a crown when beauty is truly within.

Why do companies make you sign your rights away to policies and procedures they dont adhere to or plan to adhere to themselves. Companies have onboarding and codes of conduct employees must follow, but they do not hold themselves to the same standards. They will fire you at will, reprimand you, make false accusations, or worse. However, the same set standards are invisible to them. Yes, there should be standards, but EVERYONE SHOULD FOLLOW THE SAME STANDARDS they promote. Where are our protections as workers. I'll tell you, the majority of it gets discarded as they force you to sign away your rights in order to protect themselves from wrong doing, before you are hired and throughout your tenure. Forcing and promoting at the very least arbitration. As for H.R., which is supposed to be there maintaining order and civility, why has it shied away from ensuring proper decorum is maintained by all parties?
