Good video, looks like you did a cracking job at the tune up, looks rather accurate, see what you mean about the flat fire sound and the funky noise when you load. Some good grouping too.
Great video my friend I love your HW97k synthetic stainless, I just orderd the same one from AIRGUNS OF ARIZONA in the U.S. cant wait to get it. Do you think there good just the way they come right out of the box, or do they operate way better with the kit.
Keep the rest of the spring coil cool when heating it or you will destroy the spring, I think a old wet towel good watered and wrapped around the spring will do the trick maybe🤔
Hello How long does a spring hold and are the stainless springs preferable and how often do you have to replace parts if you are a regular target shooter? 🤔 I wonder how long this plastic parts on the spring will life. 🤔
I’m gonna guess maybe 4 or 5 thousand shots then a service to check the internals and re grease and replace any worn parts , less than an hours work ,, cheers shane
wheres the best place to get videos on tuneing springers your self as there not much out there or info on tuneing kits and things you can so to inprove stock
2 of the same model of rifle will most likely have a different power output with exactly the same spring fitted, as you saw here, the spring took the gun just below the UK power limit with no adjustments ( although there was no mention of if the power washers were installed ) The chances are you probably won't need to shorten the spring should you decide to install one.. I've just installed a TBT kit into a 40+ year old Webley Vulcan that didn't have the guts to blow the petals off a daisy!

Really nicely told video.
Did you have to shorten the spring or did you use it at it's full length?
Full length, there is a video explaining somewhere on my channel buddy
So with the spring in the kit you will stay around 12 ft/lb?
@@sptnk87 Yes the Maxi PRO kit notes it is under 12 ft/lb power.

They should send the spring the correct length so we don’t have to do all that
