It would be really cool to see your Jeep and here about why you made the decisions you made. Their are so many options sometimes it is hard to make them in a vacuum.
I just bought a 21 JLU sport with Rubicon wheels. Tires were shot but . I bought new tires. Saved me from buying wheels with used tires anyway. 285/70/17 tires. I bought BFG all terrain. Much better ride than the K02s that were on it. It came wheel spacers too. Not sure about a lift kit.
I was planning to get 11.3inch wide 34s on my JLU Sport S stock wheels soon. I've taken pictures and measurements on the driver front and driver rear. I wonder how many others want to see this size, but on stock wheels
thanks for the video, this question may have already been answered. What is a 33" tire equivalent too? My factory 2021 unlimited 80th anniversary wrangler has 255 70 18 tires.
What do you mean light off-roading? Because to me this setup is as high as any 4x4 pickup truck. Unless you’re talking about mountain or rock climbing for recreational purposes.
This setup will be great for light camping trails or getting to your favorite hunting and fishing spots. Small dips, hills and small flexing will be just fine. Anything more than this will definitely require a lift kit. -Zach
hello , I have Jeep Wrangler _Rubicon 2020 year with stock tires ,what is the biggest tire size with 18inch wheel I could install with stock suspension .
Good question! You may get interference especially with a more aggressive tread because of the width and backspacing of the stock wheel. You will be limited when it comes to tire width. I wouldn't recommend to go over a 285/70 (stock Rubicon tire size). Hope this was helpful! -Merideth
The right rear wheel will rub on the inner fender well , it bulges out to accommodate the fuel lines , I put 10.5” wide tires on factory wheels and it rubbed, had to get wheel spacers
on the jeep at 1:16 does anyone know where i could get similar white/ black sidemarkers, and/or the black grill inserts for a saraha jl like in the picture? ive yet to come across the grill inserts for the sahara jl, as the dimensions are slightly different from the sport, which is what all the inserts seem to be made to fit.
You can always trim the splash guard piece that connects the bumper to your fenders! That will leave you with a nice backing piece that can be reinstalled behind your fog lights. Or - just leave them exposed! I've had mine removed for at least 2 years now with no issues. -Zach
There are multiple offsets listed in this video! The common offsets for JL aftermarket wheels are 0, -6mm, -12mm, and -18mm. Those will give you a flush to an aggressive stance with the 9mm width. Hopefully this helps!

Exactly the size I was wanting to put on my JLU. Thanks for the looks!!
I’ve been waiting for this

@ExtremeTerrain can you mount 285/75r17s on stock wheels with no lift and no spacers on a sport S?
Is there a link to those particular wheels on the white Jeep?
How bout for a sport unlimited. Currently have 17's on it. Would 18's be ok???
Changing your wheels to 18 would work just fine! -Zach
I don't know why, but I thought the speedometer would read higher than you were actually going...
Can I fit a 33’ on a base 2019 four door JL
You'll be able to fit them on! Depending on the 'aggressiveness' of the tire you may have to remove some of those bumper trim pieces.

The 255/70R18 is at about 32". If you're looking for the equivalent of a 33" tire, try checking out a 295/65R18 or 275/70R18! Hope this is helpful!

Will 285/70R17 fit on the Stock 2018 JK Sahara?
Great video but it shows with after market rims. Can you put 33x11.5x18 on the stock 18" rims without rubbing?

Nope! You can add 33s onto your Wrangler without having to worry about gearing in the slightest! -Zach

When I remove my front splash guards my headlight housing is exposed….is there a cover or something for that?
