I have stock 275x55xr20s on my 23 Wrangler Sahara. I want 33” tires but I also want to keep my stock 20 wheels because they are black. What tire size and diameter should I get? Also would I even need a lift kit or spacers?
I have a 2018 jeep Sahara JL 2.0 turbo I picked up 2021 Jeep gladiator Fox suspension, will it on my Jeep Sahara? if not please explain and if there’s a way I can reach out to you a number of something
No one ever discusses the offset that is needed! All forums and videos say you can fit 35’s without a lift if you don’t plan on off-roading with a moderate offset they’ll fit. What kind of offset am I looking for when I shop 35’s to ensure they’ll fit?!
I just bought wrangler sahara unlimited it actually has FOX lift but has ABS and traction light on the stock tires 🛞 suppose to be 255/70/R18 He got on 275/80/R18 said it’s touching if you turn Wonder if that’s the ABS dash light on they also just did full front break replacement
The Bronco will only fit the 35's on the upgraded Sasquatch package, because it also has the upgraded suspension and lift. You cannot fit 35's on a non-upgraded stock Bronco.
Any suggestions on where I can buy a set of these tires and rims online? I'm driving a 2020 white jeep wrangler unlimited sport. Im trying to save a little
I did this with -6 with 35x12.5. but I bought Rubicon fenders that raise fenders and give a extra inch and a half of space. Do light trails and some flexing...no rubbing yet.
I have that exact car, on Monday I’m putting on those Toyo open country at3… will my tires stick out the same as those do? I love the look on this and I’m hoping mine will be as wide out from my stock fender as those… any thoughts on that?
I have 2017 Sahara and I was told that I will have to lift and change front bumpers but I love the look of filled space with tires on jeep in your video, question when you go on the road will tires touch bottom of fender on bumps ?
I’ve always liked the look of a jeep that was low with large tires. This was a valuable video. Could you please reply with the size of the 35 inch tires you used also the brand.
@@JdVids_ it’s doing ok. I put a falcon stabilizer and a steering box reinforcement But it is still a little hard to stay straight next is an alignment I will keep u up dates
sweet glad i ran into your channell now it feb 2022 but got you locked in now im sure the ram build is done but all in for future build wanting to do tires on our 2019 jl with out lifting giving it a better stance buy the 2020 ram going to level and tires for a good stance
But wouldn't you have to regear with 35's on a stock JLU to make sure your gears shift correct with the bigger tires? People are saying they can't get up to 5 or 6th gear in their manual with 35's on stock.
How can you not get to 5th or 6th with a manual when you can physically shift it into gear. If you want to be in a gear you press clutch and shift to what gear you want.
@@leesparks4813 You can technically shift them into gears. However, the loss of power in those gears is what we're dealing with. You will feel your jeep drive like a dog or sluggish in 5-6
They will fit and have no issues on the road as long they they are offset extra inch. BUT, they will not work offroad on Sahara or Sport, as they will horribly rub and can brake off plastic flare. I run 34" tires on my Sahara with Rubicon suspension, and that works. Need rubicon flares to run 35s
If it's a sport or sport s you need to remove the front bumper under pinning/splash guard. The Sarah's and Rubi's will clear it but the Sports have to remove that front bumper under pining.
I had to remove that on my 2dr JL just to fit 33s lol. Tomorrow I'm adding Rubicon suspension so plenty of clearance. Also ended up swapping out my stock bumper for a steel bumper for my winch anyways so the 33s woulda fit no problem at that point.
@@adventureswithbear I also have a two door JL and want legit 33's (Baja Boss 295/70r 17s). What was your offset/backspacing. Did you have too much or too little offset that caused you to have to remove the bumper guard. I'm hoping I can get away with not removing it 17x9 -12 offset 4.5 backspacing. Did you get the Rubi lift? Second hand from a Rubi owner going to different setup?
@@Joe_Smo it was only when I had the wheel fully cranked to the right and was just barely rubbing the plastic. They are 285/70/17 which is only 32.8 I believe so not true 33s. Turned fully left I had zero rub at all even when giving it some bounce. I just removed what I did because I was putting on a steel winch bumper anyways.
Can anyone “help me” with some information about if it’s okay to put 315 /17 tires on a lifted up wrangler 2018 sport .. do I need to add anything to the axle ?
I’m asking for a big favor, how much do those exact tire rim combo cost. And is it possible to drop a link. I’m super interested in buying them. I need new tires urgently
Hey jack hope you and your family are well I just want to tell you that your wife’s Jeep looks perfect and doesn’t need lift especially that women are shorter than men so it will make it harder for them to hope in but i suggest you if you Wanna lift it just put 2 or 2.5 inches of suspension spacers & because you will not buy a set of lift kits just buy a pre-runner steel front bumper from (ADD) with some rigid industry and Baja design & rocker bars /step bars and magna flow exhaust or flow master
Short Answer: Yes whether you have Sport, Sahara, Rubicon.
What rims/tires are those
Thanks
With some offset lol im about to do the same with 34’s. Thanks for the confirmation lol
What rims/tires are those?
I put 35 BFG KO2s on my JL They will rub just driving around town. I changed the fender flares with Rubicon flares. No problem now even off road.
33s looks Perfect

I have a 2022 wrangler sport jlu. What do you recoment. I do want to go off roading but not extreme. Whatdo recoment on a lift kit.
That means my Jeep JL Rubicon fits the 35 without a problem. I'm always asking if there's a problem with the 35.
Would this setup work on my 2021 wrangler unlimited rubicon
I own a sport jl with slight leveling kit on it I could run 35s on my rubicon 17inch wheels no problem?
Yes

Looks good but what happens on bumps and driveways
Will it fit on stock rims as well???
Can the sport axle withstand a 35 tires?
Do you still have the link for those wheels?! I want the same exact ones! Please!
Quick question can I put spacer so it doesn’t touch at all ?

Daniel Pate here we are 3 months later still waiting for the answer.
They are running -12, and I would guess that’s is the smallest you can go without rubbing.
Maybe try and watch the video. Here you go lazy bones- 2:16
I love that low and wide stance… Looks STURDY!! 🔥
What rims and tires did you use? Any links?

I need that set up , what's the offset ma boy ?
Does it Rubin the road though?
Heard the new bronco will fit 35's stock, would you get one for the channel since you can take its "Doors Off"?
You can take doors off anything lol I wouldn’t recommend it on certain vehicles
The Bronco will only fit the 35's on the upgraded Sasquatch package, because it also has the upgraded suspension and lift. You cannot fit 35's on a non-upgraded stock Bronco.

Does it rub when flexed?
Where did you get the wheels
What offset are those rims
what is the tire size
35×12.5x17 most likely
What tires brand is it???
But....can you do it on a JL Sport no lift with 17" factory wheels? or would you need 1.75" spacers?
Spacers
what brand are those tires?
what fuel model rims are those???

Is that tire quiet like the stock? Just wondering
🔥🔥🔥 whats the exact wheel model and tire size…..so sick
So in a 2022 rubicon there would be no problem with 35” tires? Or do you also advise raising it?
They have a stock lift that sits higher than a regular wrangler so they fit no issue.
what are the wheel specs? Rims and tires? look meaty. Really like it! would like something similar for my JK

Where did you guys go???
First tire/rim setup i would love to put on my new 2019 Moab. Would you mind listing the sizes for everything please?
35"-12.50 tires , 17-9 offset -12 wheels .
Also any issues with the tires hitting anything while taking normal bumps in the road?
how much lift do you need if u do have 35 inch tire tho?
Are Sahara and sport models same gearing? I’m just curious if my JL sport needs Regearing to run 35, current set up stock height 3.45 gearing
Yes same gears both .
I am using -12 offset wheels and a 3/4” day star front leveling kit, should be perfect and only a fraction of the cost
Hi, I have a few questions to ask you about jeeps! Is there a way i can reach out?
will it work if you take it offroad?
What wheels are those?
Yooo, the color choice on the 5th gen is freaking amazing! (Honestly wouldn’t look bad on the white jeep either).

Tires would horribly rubb.
2017 would definitely not, maybe 33"
I really like the side marker lights on that jeep? How can I can them.
What ia the setup? Tires and wheels. Please.
Can you post exact specs on wheels and tires
Does anyone know what brand name those rims are?

I did the same to my 2021 Willys. Probably need to tighten/upgrade the steering components, it’s a little lose. And gears are next
Thinking of getting 35s for my 2021 Willy’s now. How’s your jeep faring so far? Got any of the upgrades you mentioned?

35’s on a stock level Jeep.... that’s impressive. Side note, that color on the 5th gen 😍😍

I’m thinking it all depends on the rim offset. Definitely make sure you know what you’re buying
