Stellan Gios's lightsaber was a blue-bladed crossguard lightsaber owned by Jedi Master Stellan Gios. The lightsaber had a cylindrical silver-and-black hilt with golden accents. Just below the blade emitters, a physical crossguard was mounted, which was pushed out to support the smaller quillon beams when the lightsaber was ignited, but collapsed when the weapon was deactivated for greater portability.
In 232 BBY, Gios attended the dedication of the Starlight Beacon. During the ceremony, Gios and many other Jedi drew their lightsabers and raised them to the stars, producing a bright light that symbolized the hope the Beacon would spread across the Republic. Around 231 BBY, Gios participated, and claimed victory, in a mock duel with Jedi Knight Nib Assek aboard the Coruscant Dawn as a demonstration for GoNet reporter Rhil Dairo's all-inclusive report on the upcoming Valo Republic Fair.
After the destruction of Starlight Beacon, during which Gios sacrificed himself to save numerous lives, the logistics droid JJ-5145 gave the fallen Jedi's weapon to Jedi Master Elzar Mann, who had been one of Gios's closest friends.
During the Galactic Civil War, a replica of Gios's lightsaber existed.

The true design of a weapon for a more civilized age
The room you’re in is incredible! Amazing collection, man.
Thank you!… makes working from home a lot more satisfying 😂😂😂
Those quillons need to be sanded abit to help diffuse the light
I mean this is my favorite lightsaber.
I really like the High republic. It's much better than the sequels. I love they are exploring the past of this wast galaxy far far away. And these writers are much better than what we have gotten in the sequels.
Fabulous Saber
this is dope! now if those side pieces were spring loaded, that would be epic!
That would have been cool tbh!
Amazing, I want to get one..
It’s such a unique saber. We’ll worth getting! 🔥
I want it, i cant get it.
Cause IT DO GAWD DAMN EXPENSIVE
It’s expensive, but it’s worth it!!! 🔥
@@saber_life yeah but idk if my mom will buy it for me, or beat my ass because i asked for it
@@No-zt5wq 😂
How do you fix the cross guard saber not lighting up?
I read that sanding them down helps :)
Did you try it? i dont wanna ruin the saber
not yet :(
How do you remove the battery to charge it, I'm having trouble with mine
There is a usb charge port on the chassis. It can be accessed by unscrewing the pommel. The battery can also be squeezed out if required. :)
@@saber_life Ah seems like mine is alittle different, no charge port. Had to unscrew the ignition button and afew other screws on the back to get the battery out fully. Thanks for the reply!
@@guardianshere2946 strange isn’t it. I think there are small variations with LGT Sabers depending on the retailer?
Must be the case, guess its also down to luck on which you end up with haha
@@guardianshere2946 how did your unscrew the ignition button? I'm struggling with mine as well.
I wonder can you swing this like a real sword (with force I mean and not hitting stuff of course) without worrying that it will break? the top looks fragile, but Idk
it looks amazing for sure, but if you can't fully play around with it then it would be kind of a waste of money
It’s a heavy duelling saber with a reinforced Neopixel blade. You can bash it around all day long without it breaking. However, I would suggest buying a saber for under $150 if you want to smash it up. These things are beautiful. I’m not sure I would want scratches and dents on a hilt worth around $500!
@@saber_life yeah I definitely wouldn't smash it around it'd be a shame to even bruise such a beautiful thing thank you a lot for the reply!
Where is the charge port?
You need to unscrew the pommel. It’s on the chassis
Cool, but the hilt looks like a cheap 90s Power Rangers toy
It may look cheap, but it’s a full metal hilt with good weight and detailing. I just think the design isn’t for everyone. I like how Star Wars has tried to differentiate the hilt designs throughout different era’s. These are far more elegant and take inspiration from legendary swords in storytelling.
@@saber_life I definitely think this is a hilt designed more for blocking & defense due to the cross guards which is why I like it so much. I truly think all lightsabers would benefit from a cross guard, just wish it was brighter...
It doesn't deserve the 550$ to be honest.
Meh. It looks kinda cool but Disney brought star wars too far out of creativity instead of going with George Lucas's vision with star wars. So it's a hard pass for future star wars products.
I think creativity is what the Star Wars universe needs. George Lucas's version didn't really have much to do with the Jedi & Sith except the few things Yoda taught Luke. The plot as a whole wasn't about Jedi vs Sith either, it was about Luke & his friends vs Darth Vader & his 'friends'. There was no plan to continue the Jedi order, & it's not like Luke had the knowledge of even a Jedi Padawan. What we need is something like the sequels where it was an actual Jedi Order vs a Sith with an actual plot to take over. I mean the plot of the first trilogy was pretty much, Darth Vader plays around with Luke & distracts him until the Death Star comes out of nowhere. It would've helped if they had more of a plot for building & introducing the Death Star instead of it appearing out of thin air!
@@Necroscat that would the prequels you're talking about. The prequels explain the Jedi order. George Lucas already explained long ago about the Jedi order. And how order 66 happened in revenge of the sith. You should watch the prequels. Creativity is not the answer. If it comes out without George Lucas's approval or even Dave Filoni's, it's nothing like how it's supposed to be. Disney has done much of Creativity which is why not too many people are buying from them or even care at all. If you like what Disney does, that's on you.
