    What a great idea. The circle could be used as a face cloth for meal times.

    Made more...this time with flannel each side and fusible batting inside. There is a good and a reverse side of course with the ribbing, as with the towels. FUN to Make!

    This was a great tutorial. What age the tattoos if we want to make the neck hole bigger? My toddler has a big head.

    I am a beginner beginner hahahha. What stitch do you recommend if I don't have a surgery? And does thickness of thread matter?

    Can you use a soft elastic strip instead of ribbing?

    • @ScrappyPatch
      @ScrappyPatch  7 лет назад

      I don't see why not. It just needs to be soft enough for baby's neck

  • @angelburleigh3721
    @angelburleigh3721 7 лет назад +1

    Neat idea. But what is the size difference for the hole from the from baby to adult size?

    • @e2cmmm
      @e2cmmm 7 лет назад

      + Angel Burleigh Many hat/cap charts show 21-22" inch circumference for adults... so a circle of 7 to 7 1/2 inch diameter should work well for most adults. 👍🏻👍🏻

    Cool. I'm new to surging. How many threads did you use?

    • @ScrappyPatch
      @ScrappyPatch  7 лет назад +1

      I used four threads but I don't see why you couldn't use three! Thanks for watching

    Love to try it but nobody ever shows how to end the serging or what to do with the hanging ends. Will you be willing to show how to finish up the project?

    • @ScrappyPatch
      @ScrappyPatch  6 лет назад

      I just overlap the end stitches with the beginning stitches by a 1/4 inch or 1/2, then sew of the edge. Clip the extra thread tails

    Do I need to use a Serger or just my regular sewing machine?

    • @ScrappyPatch
      @ScrappyPatch  4 года назад

      You can use either. I think the serger makes a bit easier.

    How long would you cut the cuff to make it for an adult?

    • @ScrappyPatch
      @ScrappyPatch  4 года назад

      It really depends who your making it for and the size of their head, I'd start and maybe 15 inches and work for there.

      I use swap outs on allot of my videos. Also I film the sewing parts afterwards usually so I don't have to keep moving my camera around while filming
