Well... I wouldn't say it looks easy, but it does seem doable!
I like the kislux . I find these bags to be very durable and Iâve bought several for under $300.
I'm just learning how to sew again after sewing with my Mom when i was "very young". (40 years ago) LOL. I love the way you install your zipper. Very nice and neat! Thank you!

Thank you for so clearly showing us how to make this pouch with a zipper. I've been sewing for years for my children and now for my grandchildren. I fell in love with buttons, mostly due to the fact that I've always had trouble with zippers. You made it look so simple and clearly conveyed the "how to" method. I'm going to try again.

This was a fun pattern to follow! The only thing I did different was make the elastic strips majorly shorter. And it turned out great. :)

Is it possible to create it like this using one fabric for the outside and a different one on the inside? I like how you did the zipper but I’m thinking this will require 2 different fabrics, both showing inside and out? Correct? I have the same navy daisy fabric, I tried to make a dress out of it. Clothes patterns are not my friend! I’ll stick to bags and such.

I usually using 2 pieces fabric the same color. But this pouch I want to make different using 2 styles fabric. If you like to main fabric and lining fabric different is mean you have to cut 4 pieces fabric ( Main Fabric 2 + Lining 2 ) . Thanks for your ideas ❤️ . Have a good day ❤️

i had trouble sewing around the zipper tabs when closing up the seams. They were so thick and my presser foot couldn’t go over them. Any ideas?
Hi @judyferguson1693 ! You can sew from the corner ( gusset ) start from here first and straight to the middle ( zipper point ) when nearly come to the zipper tabs take time slow and give some thick fabric ( or something else ) put under the presser foot and sew . We sew main fabric and lining fabric same way from gussets go to middle ( zipper point ) . I hope it help you . You can sew with your own way ( don’t have to sew thought 1 line ) . Make the way convenient for you ❤️

Same. If you don't have a zipper foot or a skinny foot, it's going to give you trouble. Also, the finished project has bulky, slanted corners at each end of the zippers. I'm not an inexperienced sewist, and I struggled a bit. Not gift worthy, so not something I would sew again.

If you use different zipper and you feeling worry break your needle is okay don’t sew on ( when you sew tabs fabric on zipper, from tabs fabric just slowly double stitch on fabric is mean don’t sew thought zipper ) . Where do you get zippers that have tab in the middle? I only have zippers that I can pull down from the top.
