Last weekend I was helping out with some rib stitching on an E-AB Cub clone that is undergoing repairs after a hard landing. I found that rib stitching wasn't as hard as I was led to believe, just tedious. Also, the plane was being re-covered with Polyfiber products. The fumes from those chemicals did live up to their reputation. A non-toxic alternative definitely has my attention.

I was able to cover my tail feathers at the kitchen table while the family was eating nearby : ) No smell, easy to use, strong.

Stewart Systems. Looks like a good choice. I really learned a lot from watching this. I also asked in another post if you thought a 1/2 VW would be okay to use on the Affordaplane. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again for another great video.

New subscriber here. Great video. I am building a Morgan three wheeler and it is supposed to be built like an old airplane with stretched fabric . What Fabric would you suggest as it will not be flying only driving..lol Should I paint it with aircraft dope to make it stiff ? thank you so much. It is such a big project.

That was just a demonstration - so fabric type was not considered. Virtually any of the popular, modern fabrics can be used with the Stewart System. I WILL discuss our options for the Aplane project in a future video.
