We already have an Abundance character that can heal, buff, debuff and deal high 'Break' DMG at E0 with Gallagher. Im a Lingsha simp, but I won't go E2S1 just for a Gallagher upgrade.

You forgot the other hybrid characters, like Huohuo being Abundance and Harmony, March 7th being Hunt and Harmony, Bladie being a DPS and a tank, Topaz being sub dps and buffer, and more ☝️🤓

I would rather have 3 individual party members that works well with each other rather one sustains that needs 3 Eidolons to be just as equivalent. That just makes her weak in comparison if you have her at E0 along side with other 5 stars that are also E0. Plus a 3 Lingsha does not have the same value as a 3 Acheron for example.

If you're going vertically invest in anyone, that you don't want powercrept go for harmony. If you take my example earlier and replace Acheron with E0 Ruan Mei or E0 Robin that's a better investment that an E2 Lingsha. Keep in mind that E2 is worth 3 guaranteed 5 star. If you have 3 5 stars there's no way all 3 of them regardless of path will get powercrept at the same time. So i still don't see the value of a Lingsha E2 compared to 3 5 star characters.

She doesn't have loucha sp positivity, or huohuo's near universal buffs, aventurine's comfort (and damage outside of one specific team), nor fu xuan's buffs and sustain Also even if her buffs were good, she will never outbuff a harmony unit. Why would you waste your pulls on 4 5 stars when you can pull 1 lingsha, and multiple harmony characters/ and or just more universal sustains. Pulling an e2s1 lingsha will benefit me on 1-3 teams, but pulling an e2s1 robin, ruan mei, sparkle will benefit me in nearly every team, and even more than e2s1 linghsa. I would rather get a e2s1 robin than an e2s1 linghsa. Also if I got e1s1 ff with a ruan mei and a gallgher, that would be way better than solo lingsha for the same amount of 5 stars. Spending up to 720 pulls on a slight gallgher upgrade seems wild to me. Lingsha has less sp positivity that gallagher requiring ff to be s1 to consistently skill. Lingsha has more toughness break.... but in a much less desireable spread so in the end lingsha is only slightly better than gallagher at breaking toughness gauges. Lingsha should do more damage.... but that doesn't translate to faster clears. I will never trust my team to an abundance character ever since my 4k hp sparkle got one shotted in stage 12 MOC, i would rather use aventurine or fu xuan since they get their job done properly instead of trying to be something else just to appeal in the market.
i am getting her regardless, just her aesthetics alone make her worth pulling (or attempting to pull), very enchanting character, not only can she work with break teams well but i theorize she would be a good charge stack generator for hunt March 7th, her basic, skill and ult are all attacks on top of her follow up attack/heal combo, i plan on putting her in my (currently) skill point positive team and swapping her in for Gallagher to make a skill point neutral team and spam her skill to get the follow up attack/heal as often as possible

Literally most 5 stars become cross pathstriders Luocha an abundance and also nihilit(ult) with an E1 Harmony and E2 Preservation Then we have huohuo Abundance S1 and Ult Harmony E1 Harmony E2 Revive (the ultimate bailu) We got Aventurine Preservation with a Nihility Ult most characters are literally cross paths
might as well just get the ligthcone and just put it on gallagher since thats 1 less 5 star to get and lightcone is almost guranteed, im not saying lingsha is bad but honestly eh and i like gallagher as a character more i hope he comes back
Jiaoqiu is okay if you have Acheron tho, especially for PF. His team utility is just limited right now. I might go for Lingsha tho if no Acheron rerun in 2.5

Might sound dismissive here, but if you pull additional eidolons on a 5 star limited, I'd better hope they are broken. Robin literally kills everything at E6.

i pulled for him and then his lightcone as well just because i had the extra pulls lols so far, this is my experience: he's doing very well even with my sub-par relics substats. and personally, before i finally got his signature LC, i found just the basic 4-star sampo one did me enough, though of course the difference between the two is pretty significant if your concern is only to put debuff on enemies, Jiaoqiu is more than decent enough debuffer. on top of that, if your DPS character is one whose Ult is the main damage dealer (Acheron or Argenti for example, can't talk about any other tho cuz i don't have experience other than those two lols sorry), Jiaoqiu's field after his Ult gives significant damage boost (up to 16.2% depending on trace level) if your concern is also with his own damage, this is where it gets a little tricky. Jiaoqiu himself doesn't deal big damage right away whether with his Ult, skill, or basic attack. he is very hungry on Effect Hit Rate% and to maximise his ATK% scaling from EHR%, you need to get him to 140% EHR, and since you probably want his Ult to be ready as soon and as often as possible, you might need ER rope, and he also needs speed so he can get more turn and thus debuff more often. collecting ATK% to amp up his damage while not sacrificing the other stats he needs can be quite challenging (his recommended ornament set helps as well tho) all in all, he isn't as flexible as Kafka in terms of building, and he doesn't deal as big DoT as Black Swan, and ofc he doesn't deal framerate-shattering damage as Acheron (but again, who does, amirite? eh? eh?), but his ability to inflict debuff even when out of turn can be valuable especially if you put him with Acheron pull for him if you feel like you need one more debuffer to fill in the slot, if you just really like his design, or both (me, i'm both lols). if not, maybe you can save for future units and see if you have enough to spare for his rerun and still feel like pulling for him :) if you do decide to get him, good luck, i hope he comes home!

Man jiaoqu was nerfed SO bad I was hyped for him because he would replace my pela and then they made him ok
Now what they have to do is take away all her buffs so now she is equal to Jiaoqiu
might as well just get the ligthcone and just put it on gallagher since thats 1 less 5 star to get and lightcone is almost guranteed, im not saying lingsha is bad but honestly eh and i like gallagher as a character more i hope he comes back

Jiaoqiu is okay if you have Acheron tho, especially for PF. His team utility is just limited right now. I might go for Lingsha tho if no Acheron rerun in 2.5
Jinglu rerun 4 patches after her first banner. So acheron rerun is very likely in 2.5

the issue is that jiaoqiu is worse than an e6 gui because of the nerfs. Hoyo screwed up his character..

Can someone please explain how JQ can't even debuff properly? Currently contemplating whether to pull for him or not.
i pulled for him and then his lightcone as well just because i had the extra pulls lols
so far, this is my experience: he's doing very well even with my sub-par relics substats. and personally, before i finally got his signature LC, i found just the basic 4-star sampo one did me enough, though of course the difference between the two is pretty significant
if your concern is only to put debuff on enemies, Jiaoqiu is more than decent enough debuffer. on top of that, if your DPS character is one whose Ult is the main damage dealer (Acheron or Argenti for example, can't talk about any other tho cuz i don't have experience other than those two lols sorry), Jiaoqiu's field after his Ult gives significant damage boost (up to 16.2% depending on trace level)
if your concern is also with his own damage, this is where it gets a little tricky. Jiaoqiu himself doesn't deal big damage right away whether with his Ult, skill, or basic attack. he is very hungry on Effect Hit Rate% and to maximise his ATK% scaling from EHR%, you need to get him to 140% EHR, and since you probably want his Ult to be ready as soon and as often as possible, you might need ER rope, and he also needs speed so he can get more turn and thus debuff more often. collecting ATK% to amp up his damage while not sacrificing the other stats he needs can be quite challenging (his recommended ornament set helps as well tho)
all in all, he isn't as flexible as Kafka in terms of building, and he doesn't deal as big DoT as Black Swan, and ofc he doesn't deal framerate-shattering damage as Acheron (but again, who does, amirite? eh? eh?), but his ability to inflict debuff even when out of turn can be valuable especially if you put him with Acheron
pull for him if you feel like you need one more debuffer to fill in the slot, if you just really like his design, or both (me, i'm both lols). if not, maybe you can save for future units and see if you have enough to spare for his rerun and still feel like pulling for him :)
