I was surprised when we play dirty against Skott, he actually accepts it and even respect us for doing so. I like him because he’s not a hypocrite and will keep his promise even when he loses, unlike a lot of other self centered characters who’s similar.
Now imagine he won and actually teach March as a proper pilot and we actually fight some big bad and his helps become crucial from that😅
I think that’s a key element that gets overlooked that really pushes skott over the edge into evil Michael Scott territory . Which….is scary because of the name lol but he’s still endearing despite his rediculous nature.

I could see him as maybe destruction character that siphons ungodly amount from other allies, converting it into buffs for himself
that would be a crazy concept for a character, instead of draining hp like jingliu does, he straight up applies debuffs on your whole team and takes away their stats. Imagine being able to drain atk and crit from other characters, that would be sick as hell

There's no reason why every playable character has to benefit the team and be useful for MoC and PF. Just make an absolutely negative kit for funs and giggles.

He is an npc that looks like almost all npcs from ipc, but hoyo decided to make him stand out with how he acts, and, since there is no skip button, you will see it, and won't be able to stop wanting to see more. They went all in with him, no seatbelts or breaks, and straight outta the cliff with his character. Making him a piece of crap,but a really deep one in that. All endings from that event explore him in different ways. And that is dope. Even tho he look like Teppei, who is a massive failure, you shall not judge a book by it's color, or else you gonna take a sheep for a GOAT, instead of THE REAL WOLF

My canon ending for him is with Qingque's. Even though he was a horrible person who did plenty of terrible things beforehand, I do want to see him redeem himself and try and correct his wrongdoings, even though I know there are some things that cannot be undone.
We like skott because he is a genuine villain. Not like those characters who get beaten up once then just pathethically become good after learning their ways. Skott is like nah, you win some you lose some, he doesn't care.

He's a character that is designed to be like that. People like him because of the same reason anyone would like a villain, they do their job correctly. Skott is an irredeemable asshole, one that couldn't be saved anymore. His whole life has been the dog-eat-dog kinda world, and as you can see in his backstory, his entire lineage is like that. It would take tremendous effort to redeem him, considering that you'll need to break the brainwashing that has been instilled into him for his entire childhood. I don't even know if Shaoji can pull this off without ruining the story
