Good video! Just discovered your channel. Looks like we both have about the same number of subscribers!! I had to chuckle when I saw the mosquito nets. My wife and I go to Maine every year, and we always keep them with us, lol!

Lol congrats on the mill! You have at least one example of how to manage those big pines 😂 Before my tractor I used a log arch to transport logs, and can’t hooks with ramps to get logs on the mill. It was a struggle…

That was a fantastic log. I have the same mill. How big was that log? Those heavy logs are tough to handle but you did a great job with it. I just subscribed to your channel. Lots of similar interests.

Welcome to the channel and thanks for subscribing! That log I believe was 28 on large end and 26 on small end and 18 feet long. Was difficult to handle but we got it done! I had installed the sawmill extension to cut up to 18’

Central Maine eh…where about more specifically?..
And how do you like that mill?..looking for an affordable personal mill..

We are in the Dover area. I would say the mill is ok. It does the job for sure but could of been better quality. But then again it’s one of the cheapest on the market. Look up reviews online, they have very poor customer service(I learned this first hand) A part that I ordered was missing and they basically ghosted me. Couldn’t get a hold of them no matter what I did.

I hear ya, I have a few. It’s definitely a job moving some of these large logs. Tractor is a big help tho!!
