I remember buying tickets on line for my husband and I, weeks later, we got a mail notification that the tour was postponed due to health issues, we learned later that he suddenly passed away. My ticket 🎫 is still pined on my message board in my home office. Rest In Peace John. ❤️🙏💪🇨🇦😭
Like many on here, I only recently discovered the talent that was John Pinette. I have been devouring every clip, etc, that I can find of his. I am so sorry I never got to see this amazing talent live ! Rest in Power John Pinette !
My son found John's, "I'm Starvin'" routine years ago after I worked a 12 hour hospital shift in the ER. . I laughed from beginning to end. He was genius. Imagine what he could have written if still here. What a talent. Enjoy heaven, John and make 'em laugh!!
Hilarious without vulgarity! A rarity! What a wonderful man. So sad to have lost him and at such a young age. As a fellow Massahusettsite, I feel like I lost a friend. God must have needed a good laugh after watchin the mess we've made down here!
We were lucky enough to see him in Boston just before he passed away. You could tell something was wrong he just sat on a stool and did his act. I was blessed to see him in person.
Come on now Just For Laughs! He's a legend! Release his whole bit, not just the not so great bit! I've never seen this segment before and I know there's got to be more! I love John Pinette and I don't want the last bit of his to be uploaded to be something this mediocre!
I saw him at a convention in Atlanta Georgia, 1st comic I ever saw in person,he was so funny 😅, he made us cry! I still say when the occasion arises “ you go home now, big boy You been here 4 hour!! And “Free Willey” 😅 RIP John, you are missed!
You can tell he's not in good health here. He sounds like he's having problems breathing & his face is a little puffy. It reminds me of John Ritter. Right before he died, his face was puffy from fluid retention. It's one of the signs when your heart & blood isn't circulating properly or working properly. Plus if you're obese, you tend to get Fatty Liver Disease.
2:56 "Here's your Dyson vacuum cleaner, you greedy bitch." Well, you have to admit that's ONE way to cut down on the number of weddings you'd have to attend during the summer. We miss you, Mr Pinette. We really need people like you right now. God rest you.
I loved John's humor, but wonder if anyone else noticed that his voice sounded different, he was wearing glasses. Also his hand holding the microphone was shaking and he said or used a couple of expressions or bad words that have never been part of his routine's before...he was always known a a clean comic... I'm not complaining; I just am thinking all the things I noticed might have been signs he wasn't feeling well and wonder if this was one of his last performances? He was so wonderful it pains me to have seen these changes in him.
I once went to a wedding where the bride mom went on stage and announced drinks are on sale at the bar quite a few people picked up their gifts and left
Apparently John passed away a couple years after this? He doesn't seem physically well here. I found it rather striking and a bit distracting. His stand up routines definitely improved as he got older. His earlier stuff is amusing, but his content and delivery sharpened was he got older -- which shouldn't surprise us, I suppose. I also appreciate that his later stuff seemed to pretty much do away with the foul language. I was surprised when I pulled up some of his 90s material and found him regularly lobbing f-bombs and other curse words -- I had discovered him from his stand ups later in his career when the crudeness was mostly absent. Automatic turnoff to me when a comedian feels the need to pepper his bits with needless profanity. He was funnier without it and I'm thankful he seemed to figure that out.
He was an accountant and his coworkers and friends found him to be quite hilarious and they persuaded him to try stand up comedy so after about 6 months of his accounting career he did his first standup routine and from there he never looked back. Not only was he one of the best comediennes of his time he also had an extensive list of movie roles that proved he was not just a stand up guy. Hats off to you John may you rest in piece and prayers to his family and friends.
He lost much more then what you see in these videos, I think his last performance was on an LA Radio show I believe he died later that evening of a pulmonary embolism and was found dead in his hotel room.
I know about that bad wedding reception food, I was at one in Tuscarawas, Ohio back in 2003, that had one of the worst potato dishes I've ever seen, way undercooked, although the rest of the food was ok
He looks here as a man with his health seriously deteriorated... He's here and he say, ten, twelve years before that -- are two different people. I barely recognized him.
Engagement parties; almost as 'single eyebrow' raising a concept as a gender reveal party. But whatever, who am I to question 21st century America's logic when it comes to things I've never experienced 🤷
Perhaps the greatest of cultural divides is here, whether or not this character is good enough to raise a laugh outside the USA. This chap cannot compete with the great British stand up, he's not the genius of Ricky Gervais or Billy Connolly.
I found John pinette accidentally. Much like Oliver Hardy you always knew his humor would be short-lived. How sad the human body and the human brain are never in agreement.
The closer John got to going home the more came his way and he became angrier. The world has lost sight of GOD and itself, referencing mankind. GOD needs no explanation. R.I.P. brother John. ETTE people recognize our family members.
Another excellent example of someone who's parents had some amazing dirt on some Hollywood execs. Easiest way to have a career in this field being this boring.
I was so sad I first found him on RUclips and looked him up to see if he was doing any shows and found out he died 3 months prior to that day I looked him up

Thats so sad, he was one of my favorites
😢
That sucks. At least you have a momento to remember him by...
He was one of the best.
😊pp

The world a true treasure when John passed. He was really funny.

He was the first and only famous person I ever cried for when he died. Still miss him to this day.

@@LadyPapaMayodora Agreed!
I didn't know! 😧
R.I.P. JOHN. A funny comedian who left us to early. Make them laugh/cry up there...
Indeed.. far too soon.
2023. Never had the privilege of seeing him perform. Such a comedic genius🥰 Gone way too soon ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
God certainly won't be lacking for belly laughs now. Thank You for letting us have John here on Earth for a while.
Thanks for implanting that into my brain before I try to enjoy this
Funny, funny guy! His humor lives on through these RUclips video clips. Can't get enough of his routines.
PICK A MOVIE SIR
He was an addict, that was probably affecting his body

Miss this guy he was a one of a kind
Rest in Peace, you beautiful, funny, wonderful person.
Poor John, such a great comedian...he looks ill here, u can tell he's having health issues at this point but he tried to keep going...one of the best
Never saw this video before... wow he definitely looks horrible here, and not very funny... was the best at one time too bad
He’s going down… it looks like massive diarrhea coming from his mouth
He ate himself to death.
@@thesweeples3266 he was much skinnier when he died.
RIP to a legend
Him and his friends go to Chinese restaurant 🤣
Wind “You go home now!”
ill miss your wonderful energy and priceless humor forever
I miss this dude, my favorite comedian ever
My step mother was his cousin's, wish I couldve met this guy. What a funny guy
Agree 100000% about summer weddings. Who wants to put on a full suit and tie when it's 90 degrees outside?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I miss this guy. Thank you for the Laughs John.
RIP JOHN I LOVE YOU
Very funny guy. Miss his humor but fortunately can find much of it online.
Come on now Just For Laughs! He's a legend! Release his whole bit, not just the not so great bit! I've never seen this segment before and I know there's got to be more! I love John Pinette and I don't want the last bit of his to be uploaded to be something this mediocre!

I found him too late but the BBB, hiking and travel bits have me in stitches
John was a great man I lived many years before learning he died five years ago RIP John Pinnette he got the extended warranty 😢
I love his screaming ggggg R.I.P - i love when he say "we will feed you until you implode over the wall" food in italy
Love this guy. YT his trip to Disneyland for more laughs 👍👍👍
Rip John, I loved you on Steindfield.
I remember hearing about him passing on the radio my Sophomore year of High School. Gone too soon, man. Why you go now?
No way John is gone, no way. YES! I am still in denial. Let me grieve FFS! :(
He was a delight. RIP
Love you john forever
Good to see some new material
Old school entertainment...with class..
I'm not sure he knew what the microphone was for. He was always SHOUTING!
Part of his schtick.
He was a gem!
We need the whole stand up portion 😅
He lived longer than i thought he would. John Goodman is in the same club.
The world misses Pinette.
Jon had such a great joke delivery I first saw him the punisher as mr bumpo with Thomas Jane so funny
So Sad , it looked like his hands were shaking, and he was thinner in this video. One of the best!
His face looked much chubbier here too.
You can tell he's not in good health here. He sounds like he's having problems breathing & his face is a little puffy. It reminds me of John Ritter. Right before he died, his face was puffy from fluid retention. It's one of the signs when your heart & blood isn't circulating properly or working properly. He was the best. He looks sick here. Poor man💙💙
Rest in peace, John. You were one of the greats, gone way too soon.
Louie and John now killing them at Halo's.
Rip, you are missed :(
love this guy!

We had tickets to go see him. Before he came to Chicago, he died. Would've loved to see him.
Am I the only person who wished John made a video with Chris Farley?
Or the great John Candy
He's soooo funny
Rip john

John swore a lot, mostly on his albums. He would modify the routine depending on the crowd.
@@ianfinrir8724 Ian, I didn't know that or that he put out albums... thx
Wanna come to my cottage john ??
I once went to a wedding where the bride mom went on stage and announced drinks are on sale at the bar quite a few people picked up their gifts and left
OUCH!!!!
“People need to die trying to raise the temperature on the thermostat after I turn it down.”
My man was telling it like it is
RIP BROTHER
I hope God puts you in charge of Heaven's thermostat, John. We miss you!
R.I.P funny man
Sorely missed

Am I the only one that finds it weird that this guy is a comedian when he graduated college with a degree in accounting?
It's why he failed at accounting, he has a sense of humor.
He was an accountant and his coworkers and friends found him to be quite hilarious and they persuaded him to try stand up comedy so after about 6 months of his accounting career he did his first standup routine and from there he never looked back. A famous comedian named Greg was a lawyer. (He died I believe in 2008). Rare but happens.
Same for Bob Newhart.
Miss you John comedy lost a great one.
But... Cheese? You said you wanted to go to the bathroom in THIS millenia ;)
Miss you John
He had gone through stomach procedure to lose weight..he dropped 100 lbs..
He went from 450 to 350
He looks like he lost weight. He will be dearly missed
He lost much more then what you see in these videos, I think his last performance was on an LA Radio show I believe he died later that evening of a pulmonary embolism and was found dead in his hotel room.
LOL!!! 👏👏👏
I'm sure God made sure he has an air conditioner in his cottage up in heaven. RIP John!
And a dairy queen was always nearby with no line and a never ending all you can eat buffet
@@theenderdestruction2362 For sure.
He looks and acts so much different in this video. Is this when his health started to decline?
What year did he die
2014 😢
I know about that bad wedding reception food, I was at one in Tuscarawas, Ohio back in 2003, that had one of the worst potato dishes I've ever seen, way undercooked, although the rest of the food was ok
The skinnier he got the closer to death he became
"Here's your Dyson vacuum cleaner, I hope it sucks as much as you do"
He looks here as a man with his health seriously deteriorated... He's here and he say, ten, twelve years before that -- are two different people.
I barely recognized him.
He was definitely funnier back then as well.
tommy sotomayor
He looked and acted different on this show. Thinking his health was starting to take a downturn here
I agree 😢
This show took place in 2012, according to the Description. John unfortunately passed away in 2014.
R.I.P even though I hated u on All You Can Eat
The crowd seems.....subdued?....John was always great but seems a little off here. He was a great stand up guy.
He lost 100 pounds which aged him terribly then he died. RIP Cherub.
Summer weddings are the worst I have a May weeding to go to and a July wedding it’s hot trust me. Way do people have summer weddings
Unfortunately nowhere NEAR as funny as when he was over weight.
His health was failing here too, you can see.
ricky Gervais.. then everybody else comes next
Wow does he look bad here.

I’m assuming this isn’t his best material? Not at all funny
RIP, John!
I was so sad I first found him on RUclips and looked him up to see if he was doing any shows and found out he died 3 months prior to that day I looked him up
Same thing happened to me I was like "wow this guy is hilarious I wonder if he's doing tours" and then I found out he passed away and I was sad
Kind of the same boat, I knew of him way back when, but I just missed him in Miami shortly before he died. I was so stunned.
